We were here with our little daughter. Crayons, children's chairs and plastic cups were available. Ambience, food and service top. A top selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes and as a meat lover I also get my money's worth. Highly recommended!

Great, new restaurant. Inside the atmosphere is very nice. In the restaurant you have a view of the large gymnasium and stands and on the other side of the spacious terrace. The staff is very friendly, the prices are fair. It has some parking spaces and a shelter for bicycles. The restaurant is also easy to reach on foot. The sanitary facilities are also very clean and nice.

You can find a great atmosphere in Amsteg in the Grund restaurant. Deliciously prepared food, good and attentive staff. The access is a little complicated. Has lots of parking spaces that are free. Great thing. Keep it up.

The first impression I get when I visit a restaurant that I have never known before is a lasting one for me. This was a great impression at the Grund restaurant: from the cuisine to the fine house wine, the tasteful furnishings and the hospitality - I am completely satisfied and will definitely come back!

December 31, 2022 is the perfect opportunity to get to know the Grund restaurant from its festive side. The journey to Amsteg was worth it, because Othmar Buob's team is charming, competent and up-to-date in terms of kitchen technology, especially since René Gisler, an experienced chef (14 Gault&Millau points), is part of the team and ensures that it is a through and through a pleasant end to the year: The highlights of the six-course menu are the outstanding quality Gotthard pike-perch, which is delivered directly from the neighborhood. The quality of the (Schwyzer) veal fillet is also great, the ending is subtle and not too sweet with a chestnut mousse, an orange parfait and a chocolate brownie. The prices - including on the wine list - are calculated to be extremely hospitable, so there are several good reasons to stop by this seemingly inconspicuous restaurant!

I had dinner at this restaurant with a friend. The service employee was very friendly. There were around 5 tables occupied that evening. The food was very tasty and was delivered quickly. It often takes a while for the service employee to come back to our table. When we were finished and didn't order anything else, we had to wait a long time before we could pay.

Very nice and modern restaurant with a small but inexpensive selection. You are served warmly and attentively and eat very well. 1 minute after arrival we were served water on the house. Top and personable.

The restaurant is located in a sports hall complex. It also has a nice large terrace. Inside, everything is new, modern and furnished to a high quality. The food was very good; dishes can be prepared gluten-free upon request. We were very satisfied with the price-performance ratio. We will come back.
