We came across here by chance, a very pleasant surprise, we didn't expect it. We'll come back.

I have ordered several times and the sushi is very good, but I am disappointed with the salmon and cheese sushi as the quantity of cheese remains non-existent, a real shame.

Very good food and a fairly short wait. The variety of products is great and everything is fresh. The biggest problem is hygiene and service, the person who served us was not serious and stuck his fingers in his nose every 2 minutes. When I ordered my miso soup, the waiter brought it back with a finger in the soup and half spilled into the saucer. At the end of the meal I had a mochi to take away. To fit the mochi into the little plastic protection, the waiter crushed the mochi between his gloveless hands and completely deformed it. I advise you to go there if you want to catch diseases.

The only Japanese restaurant in Monthey with super quality food and fresh sushi made to order. Small terrace and nice interior decoration, the staff provides very good advice. Enjoy tasting their plum sake. Large paid parking lot 100 meters away.

After reading some comments and photos on the restaurant page, we gave it a try. From the moment we arrived, a folkloric atmosphere invaded the restaurant, the songs of the waiters illuminating the rather Japanese decor of the place as best they could... Concerning the food, the menu offers a huge variety of dishes called "Japanese" on paper, but on the plate the taste is anything but Japanese... Honestly, the starters ordered, gyozas, shrimp tempura, miso soup, steamed appetizers, temaki, are really uninteresting. Eating dishes taken out of the freezer and fried or reheated in a pan is not Japanese. No flavor or anything else, no cuisine emerges from that. Let's move on to the ramen which followed these starters, the Ramen with pork broth and Udon noodles was simply bad, smell, taste visual aspect, I had never eaten a Ramen with Bonduelle Corn... I'm sorry for this bad comment, but I cannot read as in certain comments that the food was served and cooked from fresh produce. All this for a total bill of around 120 francs... Honestly to avoid

This is the second time I've been back. The staff is very kind and attentive. There is a very large selection of sushi and hot dishes. Each dish is very well presented and immediately whets the appetite. Everything is very good. Too bad we can't find some photos in the menu card. A restaurant that will take you on a journey! The servers are very welcoming and know how to put a smile on your face! This afternoon Arriving a little by mistake at this establishment, the restaurant initially chosen being closed we said why not try Japanese. We were very pleasantly surprised by the welcome from a very smiling young man and the dishes served very generously and, which is to be honest, very good. The waitress also welcoming, very kind and service without downtime. We are returning with great pleasure, trying more Japanese specialties.

THANKS. We started with 10 nigiris followed by 4 gunkans and 12 makis, perfect. Afterwards we went for tempura shrimp, steamed shrimp ravioli, chicken wings and fried noodles with vegetables, good, good. This is where I learned to appreciate sushi, 2nd time I've come back in 2 weeks. Impeccable waiters, incredible sushiman, try the signature sushi, you won't regret it. No more expensive than a traditional restaurant. Worth the detour.

It's a scam, the quality of the dishes does not match the exorbitant prices offered, especially for the starters and the portion of rice that I had with my chicken curry... 100g of cold/warm rice, max for 3CHf (fit in a coffee saucer that I was given with the bowl…), just enough to finish half of my curry at 22CHf. When I asked the waiter if the rice was paid separately he just told me that he didn't know and that if I wanted more rice I just had to pay. I'm really outraged. The only positive points: The waitress was smiling and helpful and the salmon nigiri was of good quality except for the unseasoned rice. (4CHF per piece, we expect at least that) That said, the food is okay but really too expensive in my opinion.

I made a reservation at your restaurant for Ascension Thursday and wanted to look at the menu on your site. Too bad the names of the dishes are not mentioned in your menu suggestions!!! There are just the photos (which make you want to go elsewhere, well done to the photographer 😃), which doesn't tell us what the dish is called!!! Important for exotic cuisine, far from our homelands 😉

Unqualified personnel. No card before 20 minutes. Entries arrive 45 minutes later. Edamame is frozen. Dishes do not arrive at the same time for customers (starter at the same time as main course). Dish: raw chicken, moldy rice, not fresh pasta, rancid salad. Sarcasm from the staff who asked when they saw our dishes intact if it was good. All for 115.- without having eaten anything even though we spoke to the boss. DON'T WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Incredibly delicious food with amazing, well-organized service

All good ! From the welcome, to the coffee! The starters are delicious (special mention for the Gyoza ravioli!). The hot dishes are to die for, and the detail that counts in my opinion: The Rice! When it is not good, we notice it directly. But here, it can be eaten on its own, as if it were the main dish, and not the accompaniment. Everything is perfect, the decor is funny, with figurines from the "mangasphere" placed here and there in the restaurant. It's great for kids and fans. And more personally, I am delighted to have a “real” Japanese restaurant in the region. The sushi "restaurants" are far too numerous on the one hand, and in no way reflect the diversity of Japanese gastronomy on the other. It feels good. In addition, the prices displayed in sushi become very questionable. In short, it feels good. Small downside: the arrangement of the tables, it quickly becomes cramped when the restaurant is full. But that's not enough to take away a star. Well done !

New restaurant in Monthey, very nice place. The server was very professional and friendly. The food is very good. Too bad the kids are running around the restaurant, screaming and crying. The owner gave us the cards with her child in her arms. It is not the place for children in the restaurant. I hope this will change, otherwise we won't go back
