The best food and the restaurant owner is very friendly. I went to eat lunch and took a chai( tea) before going to do some activities. That tea was too perfect. So after completed those activities I came to drink that same chai for second time. I must recommend this place to everyone. The best food 😋 😍🥰

26th October 2023 at 6.30pm. Horrible biryani, avoid at all costs. The chicken tandoori biryani that we ordered for takeout was actually cooked white rice mixed with subpar chicken curry and reheated together with excessive amount of cumin. The rice was so soggy, looks horrible and unpalatable and it costs us CHF28

Very very tasty food , came from doha to switzerland not expecting indian food but were stunned by this place . It brought us back home with its flavors and service .

We a family of 5 had our dinner there, and we are pakistani. Such an amazing quantity of food and quality. I see people here complaining about price but they dont realize that they are in switzerland and looking at the price and quantity its amazing. The quality and the quantity and the price ( keeping in mind switzerland ) is 5 star.

Amazing food, i will definitely recommend this Pakistani restaurant. The food is super yummy and delicious. If you're in Interlaken on the east side then definitely consider this restaurant. The owners (brother and sister), were super hospitable and very nice.

Food has authentic Pakistani/Indian taste. It is noticeable that they have properly made masala with bhunai and not just used canned tomato paste like most Paki/Ind restaurant in Europe. Five stars for at least being some what authentic. Overall food was okish.

Very nice restaurant, family running business, treat you like a family. Opposit to the famous spot called Harder kulm.

We’ve dined here twice and each time we’ve been blown away with the fresh homemade curries and biryani! The meat is all halal as well! They take their alright time serving the food because they are making it from scratch. The same server is always there who’s very friendly and ready to answer all the questions! Definitely recommend this place in all of Interlaken if you want proper desi food without the fuss. We will be coming back for sure! PS they have a jammin music list 😎

I have come back to eat from this restaurant 4 times. Their cooking is delicious, bright and clean... I tried beans, masala, butter chicken, rice, and potatoes. Every time I come and order something else, and each order is better than the last.

Delicious authentic Pakistani/Indian food served right at Interlaken, near the Harderbahn. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food was served hot and fresh, and came to our table quickly. We had the lamb curry and butter chicken, which were both delicious. They do not serve alcohol, which is a big plus. A real halal place! May Allāh عز وجل reward them highly. Definitely recommend coming here for your delicious halal bite in Interlaken.

Food is tasty but really unnecessary pricey. I ordered a chicken biryani and they only put eight pieces of small breast pieces and that comes to 27 CHF 😲. So if you cut the cost coming from someone in Britain. Half a breast - £1.50 The portion of rice - £1 And all the other prices of spices. £1. Surely they're making soo much profit at top thats what I say unnecessary.

Only the food was good, but the service and recommendations were not good, as we paid CHF30 for 2 pieces of normal bread. I recommend trying the restaurant, but beware of the prices, and do not expect the service to be special.

Tasty food at world beautiful place

An Indian-Pakistani snack bar near Interlaken Ostbahnhof. There are mainly Briyani dishes that taste okay. The main reason for the high frequency is the large number of tourists from Asia who are not very demanding. However, the so-called "Tandoori Chicken" tasted extremely bland, and my son had very soggy fries. I often go out for Indian food and therefore know very well what tandoori chicken should be like. Unfortunately, the kitchen is very small, which leads to a noticeable slowness. Almost an hour wait is not acceptable, especially for takeaway. Here the owner should optimize the processes. The employees are friendly, but completely overwhelmed. The price of the meal averages 28 CHF and is too high for the reasons mentioned above. Because of the unfavorable price-performance ratio, this snack bar is not recommended.

Absolutely terrible food and value. The palak paneer was oil, salty and not at all like palak panner. It had tomato in it which palak is not supposed to have any tomato. Terrible tourist trap! I regret eating here 28CH to nothing! Not authentic in anyway

Great place and great food. The young boy was overwhelmed but he managed to get everybody's food and service top notch. You need patience here since its a small settlement with too many tourists.

This is worse food ever i had and they ripped us dont waste your money there as on the road there are so many other restaurants and takeaways for cheap and good taste i dont recommend anyone they don’t deserve any single star unfortunately google dont do 0 starts .

Not a good option, I wasted my time and money at this place. Orders some pakoras and it was just fried onions with no flavours and not even balls. Just onion slices wrapped in better more not even rings but slices. Curry was mediocre and for this price you can get way better options. Roti and nan were filled with dry floure, very disappointed

One of the best restaurants in Interlaken to enjoy tasty Indian food having pakistani flavour. I have been there for more than 5-6 times and never got disappointed as far as the taste is concerned. On top of that I really liked the hospitality by the owner Pakeeza who always welcomed us with her sweet smiling face. My wife became a good friend of her as well and exchanged their phone number. I strongly recommend Kashmir Mahal to all those tourists who are looking for an excellent quality Indian food in Interlaken…..

I picked this place because it was busy, smelled good, and has a view of Harder Kulm and the English Garden. It took over an hour to get my order because they kept prioritizing take out orders and they also fulfilled eat-in orders for several people that arrived after me, and those parties FINISHED eating before I got my order. I ordered the chicken tikka masala. The chicken was overcooked and the sauce was not very flavorful compared to most restaurants. There were also a lot of bell peppers which was not to my expectations. I think the positive reviews are because there are not very many reasonably priced restaurants that are not Swiss food.

Nice food. Chicken briyani can be serve for 2 and Naan bread.

The food is delicious. We ordered excellent chicken butter and biryani, and the naan bread was delicious. Of course, the restaurant is small and popular, but it is delicious to be honest. Those who work sometimes are respectful and have good manners. I advise you to try it 👌🏻👌🏻 But there is work that you should know that it may take a while because they have a family and they themselves work in the restaurant.

Chanced upon this place on a rainy day. Had excellent pakodas and samosas! Dare I say - even better than the ones I've had back home. The service was also prompt and polite.

Extremely tasty food, Owner is a gem of a person and his son (Hassan) is so cute and well mannered. Friendly atmosphere. They make you feel that you are at your own place. I had a very bad experience in Interlaken but the best part of being there was finding this lovely restaurant run by an adorable family. The food is so tasty and homely and made me feel so happy when I was having a hard time in Switzerland. The moment I entered the restaurant, the smell of home greeted me. The girl who works there, belongs to the family who owns the restaurant, she is very loving and sweet. We talked a little, she seemed my age. I didn't ask her name but I talked to her and I wish I would have made friends with her. She reminded me of a friend I had made a few years back in the hostel during my higher studies. Absolutely recommending this place to everyone who visits Interlaken!!

Its so disappointing to see such place in Switzerland food no taste very expencive not clean they charged for one slice lemon and onion food tasteless place divided with curtain. we paid for 2 main course and bread around more than 90 CHF i dont recommended this place very bad quality i cant belive this place deserve even 1 star

It was a great experience at the restaurant, knowing it was run by a small family. Every dish was made to order which resulted in fresh food. They also served Halal food which was very convenient for us. Would definitely come back and have the amazing lamb biryani and butter chicken!

Way too expensive for the ambience. Small portion sizes.Very poor customer service. Did not give raita with the biryani unless asked for.Had to wait too long for the food to be served. Not going back and wouldn’t recommend for dine here in. Food is ok for take out I guess!

Long waiting. No to clean. No to taste food.

Had dinner with my children, we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes to receive food, dishes arrived that were different from those ordered, poor quality, absolutely random and spicy. I would have gotten up and left without eating if the boys hadn't been very hungry after 1 hour and 20 minutes of waiting. Absolutely exaggerated prices compared to the non-existent service. Plastic tablecloth and cutlery in bulk 3 paper napkins counted.
