I went for a drink. Service provided with a smile and good humor. Too bad there is no public transformer service in the evening.

Regarding the restaurant, We were placed in an adjoining room that looked more like a daycare than anything else, but the worst part wasn't there. The door remained open all the time, we ate with our coats on. Despite our multiple requests to be moved, the restaurant has done nothing to improve these poor conditions. However, tables were becoming available and we had tried to reserve in advance. Also 1 hour to take our orders (we had to ask to take our orders and get the cards). Located at 1209 m altitude (now you know why the name 😉) this place is the perfect mix of chalet and modern style. It's a little gem in the mountain range of the lake Geneva Riviera, with a beautiful view. I've always eaten very well here: with exquisite local selections as well as unique world cuisine additions (lately I had a vegetarian version of Moussaka and it was so yummi!). Wether it's for a stop after a hike (snowshoes in winter), lunch stop (while skiing and sledging in winter) and/or for a romantic get away, you will love this place with it's very friendly and accommodating staff.

We went to have a nice lunch. The prices have sky rocketed. I expect it has changed hands as the menu had very few choices and was now seasonal. If you are vegetarian, look forward to two dishes. WOW! The dessert menu was very disappointing as it contained about three sweet dishes and about two cheese ones. The staff were very friendly but that was mainly because there were very few people (only about 8 or 12 other people). One good thing was that most ingredients were sourced locally. And with all that said, been there done it, will not be going again.
