I stopped maybe twice a few years ago during our bike ride to Les Grangettes. With the play park next door, I thought it was family friendly and with the campsite, it was stress free. But no, in fact, the welcome is unpleasant, they finally come to ask us what we want to order after a few waiting times even though there are no crowds. As we only wanted to drink, we were told to sit on the nearby tables, in full sun.. I promised myself I would never set foot there again. after a few years we stop our paddles at the beach and sit for a drink, going straight through the terrace since there is a path from reception. The waiter arrives looking angry and stressed and tells us: "It's a restaurant, you have to come dressed, that makes sense, right?" So we left and noticed the “no bathing suits” sign. We sat at a restaurant (not a pool bar) on the Quai de Villeneuve, in our swimsuits, and were greeted pleasantly by a lady. It's not so much the ban that bothered us but the way it was told to us that bothered us. This time was the last time.
