Came by chance and one thing is sure, we will come back! Having dined in many Geneva restaurants, we find here one of the best value for money. The finesse, flavor and quality of the dishes are exceptional. A sophisticated decoration consistent with the theme of the restaurant, accompanied by a cozy and cozy atmosphere ideal for dining with friends or family. That was a really unique experience in Geneva. The restaurant is superb in many senses. The food is gorgeous, the service is very attentive, the atmosphere is cozy. Yes, it's rather expensive. But you pay for a real value comparing to other Geneva options where you pay a lot and end up having a mediocre outcome.

I have come to this restaurant several times! I recommend it to all my loved ones! Impeccable service, the quality of the dishes is perfect, good atmosphere in the restaurant, you can go there with your eyes closed! The poached egg is just incredible 😻

our friends reserved a table in this restaurant with The Fork for Saturday evening with 30% à la carte. we arrived had aperitifs a good bottle of wine and ordered the dishes The food was passable the director or manager I don't know responsible for what we were told quite unpleasant bordering on insulting when the bill arrived that It was not the surprise of our friends to see that out of four starters and four main courses he had only made the 30% on one main course. Following a request from the waitress, the great manager came to see us and told us that it was written on the menu with a small Asterix meaning that all the dishes that were not with TheFork were noted in very small letters as it is. so well doing it as we don't want people to notice and told us that we just had to read the menu not even apologies. When we ordered not announced telling us to be careful that certain dishes since we we had booked through TheFork, the reductions were not taken into account, not even a gesture, nothing on the verge of insult and contempt for this great chef, so I warn you, be very careful, it is on the verge of scam of yours and there are enough decent and better restaurants to go and eat.

An address to remember. Sober and elegant decoration, the team is friendly and very professional, the menu is well constructed (a little extra for the octopus, perfect cooking) as well as their choice of wines. We will come back without hesitation

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of restaurant Octopus in Champel, Geneva. The seafood here is decently good. Staff is nice. Terrace is cosy and shadowed. Too bad they do seem to have special at discounted price for lunch.

Good atmosphere and the food was excellent, specially the octopus. I would go back in summer to enjoy the terrace. The only downside is that the quantities are not huge.

I was invited to dinner in this gem of a restaurant located in the tranquility of Champel. They told me about an important change, about a new chef... but I expected to find dishes of average Genevan quality... But no... I was bewitched, struck, conquered and pampered by Chef Salvatore's new menu Sutera. Great research into quality products, different techniques used to enhance and balance the flavors of the dishes. A truly amazing dinner.

My last night in Genève, and if I couldn’t be more in love with my visit, this place really topped off my whole trip. The gentleman that took care of me was beyond amazing, he was extremely professional and took care of everyone and everything perfectly, I have worked in hospitality a long time and he absolutely set an example of how it should be done, I really don’t have the words. Oh and the food… simply fantastic. Thanks for such a perfect night, really am so grateful.

Nice place, with good service, however they can’t cook meat. Pasta was very oily…Geneva style, either food is not good or service. It is rare to have all together…

This restaurant offers a unique selection of dishes, including rib-eye steak and wood-fired octopus. The main courses and starters were of rare quality and very beautifully executed. Very welcoming staff. The only downside was the dessert. The trompe l'oeil were magnificent but below the starters and dishes in terms of taste. Starter, main course, dessert, drink for us, around 100.- But a real pleasure to have freshness in Geneva with these new, original and delicious proposals! I recently visited the Octopus restaurant in the center of Geneva and was pleasantly surprised by the tasty and gourmet Mediterranean cuisine they offer. Their specialty is fish, shellfish and seafood, with octopus as the star of the menu. The terrace is magnificent and it is the ideal place to share tapas with friends accompanied by an excellent glass of wine or cocktail. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal in good company.

Great place! Friendly service, cosy interior and nice food. I will be back! We were 3 and shared a salmon tartare starter and squid, which both were great. Then had the grilled/caramelised octopus - both were also good. The lemon dessert was delicious.

We had several times lunch at the " Octopus" Rue d'Athenée /chemin Malombré "and enjoyed it very much . Very friendly helpful service , interesting ,nicely presented food ,particularly Octopus of course ! as well home made Foie gras etc Pleasant Atmosphere and sitting corners, although at Wintertime some tablecloth or fabric sets would make it a bit cosier I believe !¨

Very very disappointed with the restaurant! Not good at all, very bland dish, risotto not cooked and dry, 35CHF per dish. I was waiting for dessert to comfort me, well not even more disappointed, a millefeuille style 03 deconstructed puff pastry with an apple compote so sweet that it no longer tastes like apple with 03 little drops of cream. On the other hand, the staff are super smiling and friendly.

Beautiful setting, friendly staff. We booked for 4 people via thefork. We had oysters as a starter and two steaks of beef which do not benefit from thefork reduction! And a Black Tiger prawn risotto, actually three small shrimps perched on the rice; a bit shabby for a dish at 35chf!. No sorbet for dessert and only one flavor (vanilla) for the ice cream. Damage !

Very good place to eat octopus whose cooking is mastered every time! It's delicious, the quantity on the plate is correct with starter and main course you won't be hungry when you leave. The staff is always there to help you have a good time. The decoration is superb. The only downside is that the menu doesn't change often.

Nugget in Geneva! Small, intimate setting sheltered from the noise of the city but not far from the center, shaded terrace, friendly welcome and thanks Pleasant staff. Well-made cocktails (the passion mojito is superb!) And what about the cuisine from starters to desserts we enjoyed ourselves, for a 3rd visit we have never been disappointed. The dishes are very good and fresh, unfortunately the beer was not fresh, nor was the water... and the red wine was not tempered. Otherwise everything else was great.

The staff is very nice. The location is good, the road which passes in front of the terrace is not very busy. The menu is not huge, but the food is of good quality and quantity for a reasonable price (just a downside for the evening we were there, 2 dishes were missing that we wanted, too bad for the fifth star ).

I find the dishes very good and with fresh ingredients. However, given the context of Covid, I would have liked the room to have less dust and the map to be cleaned. It has become a little grayish!

Nice date night spot, even if you don't eat octopus (I don't). Reserve a corner table in advance. Ask about the specials and definitely don't skip dessert. The last time I went I had a mushroom risotto that was amazing.

Discovery of this restaurant specializing in Octopus. Being a big fan of this dish, I was not disappointed. I had the Octopus carpaccio and grilled, both cooking was successful. We also tasted their bouillabaisse which was delicious. Special mention to the pastry chef because the desserts were terribly delicious. The service is good. The waitresses know the composition of the dishes well. Vintage decoration, I love it.

The food itself is not bad. The octopus is very tender and is very good. In addition, the offers allow you to have reductions on the price. And that's where it hurts. Under the pretext that you have a reduction, the manager tries to make up for it by charging you for cocktails at 12 francs when they are displayed at 8. And when you ask for justification, "oh yes, it's the old menu, It was a promotional offer, blah blah blah...." Oddly, the map available on the internet is still identical to the one we had at the time. So watch your bills carefully if you are not in favor with the manager.

Delicious dishes with (obviously!) several around octopus, the calamaretti as a starter were excellent and the gourmet coffee was great. Very pleasant spacious terrace, fair price, and super friendly and welcoming staff. I would happily come back here!
