Restaurant Masaniello in Lac Léman (VD)

It far exceeded my expectations. The restaurant also offers an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a romantic evening or a family dinner. The dishes are delicious and the service is excellent. I have no doubts: I will be back!

Not happy with the service we started eating at 10:15 p.m. some of the people were at the same table at almost 11 p.m. We were there at 8 p.m.... I won't add more... maybe we weren't lucky... The food wasn't bad.

Very very good Italian restaurant, the young owner is very smiling, helpful and efficient and her husband serves tasty and generous cuisine...we will come back with great pleasure!

If you go via the Cantonal road to Cully, the restaurant is adjacent to the Lavaux hotel. We spent 5 days there and ate at this restaurant every day, they took great care of us, rich and delicious dishes, copious, very, very good cuisine, the staff are adorable, extraordinarily kind. Don't hesitate, go ahead.

More than mixed experience. Very expensive for an Italian Restaurant and for the quality served. Gross and flavorless frito misto. Pasta carbonata piato promotion at Frs 29.-! To summarize: 1 rucola salad, 1 fritto misto (starter) 4 glasses of Italian wine at Frs 8.50, 2 carbonara pastas, 2 scoops of ice cream. 1 half San Pellegrino. Excellent discovery under our hotel. We were hungry but didn't want to get in the car and go out. We try the hotel restaurant. Excellent revelation. Courteous Italian staff and excellent quality food (pizza like in Italy). The price of water is slightly off-putting at 0.50 (€7), but in line with Switzerland. Advised.

Everything was perfect. The welcome, the meal and the wine. I found there the Neapolitan flavors that I was able to discover this summer in Naples. To start, I had the Italian Antipasto, a tasting plate which was a feast for the eyes and the palate. A varied and hearty plate. Both my gourmet and gourmet sides were satisfied. Then I had the suggestion of the day, seafood paccheri. Again, the plate was hearty with lots of seafood and incredible flavors. The tiramisu was the perfect conclusion to a perfect meal. Thank you for this evening trip to Naples.

The food was excellent, true and excellent Neapolitan cuisine. Nice and well-kept environment, with a view into the kitchen through a window, friendly and professional staff. A dear greeting to our waiter and DOC advisor Giuseppe. We will happily return to eat here on a next occasion. PS two meters from the lake and with a terrace, certainly beautiful during the warmer months.

A rather tasty and elaborate cuisine. A value for money in the high limit but which remains acceptable for the dish. Minimalist dessert and excessive price. A really long and disorganized service with a room that was only half full.

Starter, main course and dessert were very good, very good wine from the region. Menu in FR and EN, service makes a lot of effort and also speaks English.

Very good quality cuisine but not very generous dishes. Very friendly staff. Chairs and crockery suitable for young children available. Very pleasant terrace in the evening.

Good food, nice things, well presented. The welcoming and attentive staff also proved to be very helpful when we asked for an appetizer no longer available on the new menu. Prices are normal for Switzerland. The babà is highly recommended, it made us feel like we were in Naples!

Real high quality Italian food. Pleasant place on the edge of the beautiful Swiss lake, with the Alps behind it. Fantasy and tradition on the menu. The cuisine is of a high standard, with attention to detail. They also manage to make even the simplest dishes delicious.

The Masaniello restaurant is a very good restaurant. The food is very tasty and delicious. And every time I want to eat, I choose Masaniello restaurant. Because its location is a very acceptable place to visit and the food is delicious and reliable.

We ate here last night and it was very, very good. We have reservations for today at noon. This morning we came down from the hotel room to have two coffees, four small croissants plus a last piece of baguette with two small portions of Nutella. The gentleman with the white beard caused quite a scandal, he wanted to count us two for breakfast. I spoke to him calmly, I explained to him that we were going to eat at noon, and that in less than 24 hours we would have left 350 Fr. plus breakfast; he refused, he counted two breakfasts for 30 Fr instead of one… We will therefore go to Lausanne to eat at lunch and we will never come back to his establishment. Although we will come back to the hotel very often because the hotel is absolutely fantastic! On the commercial side, I don’t think this restaurant will go very far… LOL

I was there for a holiday and since they spoke very well about this restaurant I went there to try it... everything was good and attention to detail, cleanliness and food I highly recommend it... if you want to eat REAL typical Neapolitan dishes while being in Switzerland

We ate at Masinello twice this weekend. On the first evening there were four of us who enjoyed the aperitif plate, pizza, salad and polpetto. Due to the restaurant being fully booked, it took a little longer than usual, but that wasn't a problem for us at all. On Sunday evening we were a group of 25 people who had a pre-ordered menu and everything worked out perfectly. It should be mentioned that the eggplant lasagne is a poem. After roast pork with vegetables, we were able to enjoy a wonderful tiramisu. I don't need a large wallet in this restaurant, the prices are moderate and completely justified. I look forward to eating in the restaurant again soon.

We had breakfast and were very disappointed. Buffet without any choice. No fruit salad, no yogurt, dry bread. Empty dishes that are restocked 40 minutes later. It's not worth the CHF 15.00.

I’m not living in there, but I went in there for an holiday and I heard some good stuff from this restaurant. So I have been there for the first time this month, and I heard that they have really good good choice of the menu and unique food. I went there for a dinner with some friends, and I’m originally from Naples, and I felt like home. Really nice service from the workers, really friendly, and the food was simply amazing, I felt like I’m in Italy. I suggest every single person that is gonna go past the restaurant to take a stop and enjoy for a night fresh and unique food. The pizza was amazing, and the starters was made at moment, you can taste that they are fresh and really good tasting. I suggest everyone to go in there and enjoy the food. The owners are really friendly and they helped me in the choice of the food. I recommend it 100%!

Fan-tas-tic! Young Italian couple running the restaurant, he as head chef, she in the dining room and an experienced sommelier. To begin with, the welcome is exemplary, smiles and friendliness, the cuisine includes Neapolitan specialties, including a very nice discovery with the "Panuozzo", a real treat, I recommend it. The other dishes as well as the pizzas are excellent, but the famous Panuozzo remains my favorite dish. The decor is very pleasant, rather modern with large bay windows and parquet flooring, which brings a warm touch to the place. I am looking forward to returning there in good weather, to test the terrace which offers a panoramic view of Lake Geneva. Don't worry about your wallet, because the prices are quite affordable and at the same level as other Italian restaurants.

A very interesting menu and delicious dishes. We were a group of 6 and we decided to taste several of the dishes offered: a real treat, from antipasto to dessert! We fell in love with the panuozzo that we had never found anywhere else in the region! Bravo to the young chef who offers traditional Italian cuisine with authentic flavors and a touch of modernity! Little extra: the children were very well received. We will definitely come back!
