You can tell that the owners do it out of passion, not just to make money. On my 3-day hike I went to other restaurants with better views, but I would still go to the "Restaurant Ober Passwang" again :-)!

It's not a restaurant in the sense that you can have a drink and the people are very friendly. I was allowed to charge my ebike because it wasn't enough. Gladly again.

Service only from 12.30. Area was nice

We (2 adults and 2 small children) were there for lunch after a short hike. We were warmly welcomed and the cozy dining room warmed us wonderfully with the oven. The ambience is rustic, as expected, but still inviting. The children were allowed to play with the toys that were deposited. We had a meat and cheese platter for 2 people with homemade bread. The quality of the food was very good and more than enough for the 4 of us.

Friendly service, fair prices and a nice terrace. The selection could be a little larger, but probably limited at the moment due to the Corona restrictions.

Were there on Sunday and unfortunately there has been no restaurant since May 17th, but it does have a small fridge with drinks and nut rolls and chips if you're slightly hungry. The operator has taken over another business, in front of Erzberg. As an alternative, there is the Vogelberg restaurant further up, about 15 minutes on foot.

It has good food and nice service. The view is great in a beautiful setting

As a German you get burned. 5 CHF for a beer and 5 CHF for a coke. Quite expensive but everything is good on the mountain. So we ordered 2 cokes and 1 beer. So 15.00 CHF. I asked in advance whether you could pay in euros and the waitress said yes. At the current rate it would have been €13.29. So we already paid €1.71 more, which is okay in my opinion. But then giving us 5 CHF in change is pretty bold. So I paid another €0.57 more. And what should you do as a German transiting through with CHF? So all in all NOT recommended. If there were negative stars, I would take them, but unfortunately 1 star is the "worst" you can choose. In addition, the service leaves a lot to be desired. The cola tastes like it's not the best quality. But maybe we're just used to something different. But maybe it was just a snapshot. But be careful and don't get burned like we were. Have fun hiking ;-)

Cozy mountain pub with in-house specialties in the middle of the hiking area. Always worth a visit.

Simple Bärgbeiz. Food good and cheap. Just under 30' from the Passwang car park.

Good home-style restaurant. Thanks for keeping the dogs outside. Always this panting at the next table because many people can't train the dog properly. Continued success. We look forward to the next visit.

Where dogs are not allowed...we are not guests either!!!!!..

Unfortunately I can't say much about it because we were traveling with a dog and we had to leave straight away because dogs aren't allowed... it's a real shame that dogs aren't allowed in a hiking area...

We also stayed outside because of the dogs! A pity! Then pack your backpack next time!

Absolutely crappy restaurant. For an excursion there is a restaurant where dogs are not allowed and absolutely no good, every 2 hours there is a dog and you can go hiking. Because ask her seriously to say that she misses the dog's dusse tan i dere clachti. So I know where I'll never go

Farm with restaurant. If the weather is good you can also sit outside. Beautiful location. Simple, hearty and good food. Personal and very nice service.
