My current favorite restaurant with great Italian cuisine and the best price/performance ratio! Also ask about current news: Had a fish dish that wasn't on the menu. Ate “Metzgete” in the Ochsen for the first time. Blood sausage and liver sausage 🍽️ were excellent.

Even though we didn't arrive until after 2 p.m. on Sunday, the food was quick and excellent. Very friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. What we were very pleased with is that there are smaller portions. Gladly again.

The old village pub is now an Italian restaurant. But the charm of the pub can still be felt. The food as well as the service impressed me. The fine desserts in particular were particularly good and homemade. The pizza was generously topped. Even with the small portion it was enough. A schnapps at the end rounded off the evening.

This Rösti with cheese gratin and a fried egg was sensationally delicious! and for this homemade tiramisu I just say, it couldn't be more perfect. Staff always very friendly and competent! I recommend this restaurant, it's worth a visit! I would like to thank you very much for this hospitality! I'd love to come back!

It was just great again. The veal fillet is delicately pink like butter. The horse fillet apparently just Mmhh... Also the lamb chops pink and Mmhh... We'll be back...also because of the nice, good service.

Stressed staff, not smiling. Forgot the salad. Although the boss gave a discount with the coffees. They lacked everything! I was a sommelier! I know what I mean!!!!

Very friendly service, delicious good food and the rustic country inn is lovingly decorated to suit the seasons. It's always worth a visit!

Bedienung nicht sehr aufmerksam, kennt die Menüs nicht und die Fleischsorte nicht. Die Qualität des Mittagsmenüs war höchstens mittelmässig - das Fleisch von minderer Qualität. An diesem Tag offenbar nur Schweinefleisch im Angebot. Gerade auf dem Land und bei dem vorhandenen Angebot erstaunlich.

I found the staff stressed even though we were a group with a one size fits all menu. As a result, the service was not very pleasant. They forgot to serve us a salad and offered us coffee as compensation. The dish, a ground roast, was far too salty. The dessert is a kind of cream with half a strawberry inside. Without interest. I don't know the price of the menu that was reserved but I hope it didn't exceed CHF 15.00 otherwise it would have been too expensive for what it was.
