A nice homely restaurant, the kind of which you unfortunately have to look for slowly. The card impresses with its beautiful diversity and the 16 different Cordon Bleus. The food is very tasty and the portions are sufficient. The staff is very friendly and willing to have fun. There are a good number of parking spaces in the yard. In short, you feel comfortable, so you'll be happy to come back.

Spent a cozy evening with fine food

After a long, long time we ate in the ox again. The service is friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately there was no more space in the garden, so we ate in the restaurant. The food was fine and freshly prepared. Veal liver was excellently done. The hash browns are fine, but with salt at the top. The salad was beautifully presented and rich. Overall this was really good.

I ordered 3 pizzas to pick up. From ordering to picking up everything was very good and quick, and the staff were also very friendly. But the pizzas are very tasteless and the base is so floury that it is almost inedible. Unfortunately the “worst pizza in the region” I would have liked to email this review to the restaurant, but I couldn't find an email address. They definitely have delicious dishes that are much better than pizza. Because of this review I received a phone call from the restaurant. They apologized for the pizzas which were not available. A very, very polite telephone conversation where you could tell that you do everything for the guest. I was even offered a refund of my money. It is really important to them that the guest is satisfied... gastronomy is carried out with passion.

Here you will receive a really friendly welcome and you can tell that the restaurant is run with heart 😊 Service very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The food was also very good (Cordonbleu nice and crispy, good meat, fresh fries). For the 5th star, the cheese could be a little better and a garnish (tomato slice, parsley) could be added to the plate. But complaining is on a high level 😉 We sat in the garden in nice weather. Very pleasant. Can recommend the restaurant.

Nice restaurant with a village character. The service is very friendly and quick. Nice menu, has something for everyone, especially meat lovers ;-) Our pork steak with cream sauce and fries was delicious, as was the pork fillet with morel sauce and pasta. The lasagna was rather dry and too compact, but had a lot of sauce all around it, so ok. Prices are normal.

The food is delicious. Giant cordon bleu tastes great and is not greasy. The fries were good. The waiter is very friendly and always available for a chat or a few sayings. The atmosphere is like a cozy parlor.

You are really welcome here. Hospitality in an honest way. The quality of the food is outstanding and the ingredients come from the local area wherever possible. This makes visiting a restaurant fun and makes you look forward to your next visit to the Ochsen when you go home.

A family-run restaurant in the village center of Itingen. Unique Cordon Bleu creations and hearty Swiss cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. The hosts are friendly, very personable and go the extra mile for their guests. I had one of the best cordon bleu there of my entire life. Highly Recommended!

Very good food. The Cordon Bleus in particular are top notch. The French fries that came with it were also extremely tasty. I can recommend it. The service is always friendly, even when the work is very stressful. The prices are fair. Parking spaces are in the inner courtyard. If there is not enough space, you can park for free at the train station, from there it is a 3-4 minute walk.

Yesterday I was here with Benny and Jerome. Raffi and Yves were also there. We treated ourselves to a cold beer after playing football. First we had to take a shower for the previous reason and change our shoes because they were wet.

Schöner Gasthof, von denen es bei all dem Modernisierungswahn leider immer weniger gibt. Der Ochsen gehört noch dazu und bietet neben der freundlichen Bedienung auch eine grosszügige Speisekarte an. Vermerkt sei hier, die grosse Auswahl an verschiedenen Cordon Bleus. Auch die Pizzas sind sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder einmal vorbei.

Wir waren heute mit 5 Personen dort, alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr ehrlich! Das Essen ist großartig, die Umgebung ist sehr freundlich, danke..

Schönes Restaurant. Aussen ein toller gartensitzplatz. Bedienung sehr nett und gepflegt. Menu Auswahl sehr gross, spezialität sind die cordon bleus. Einfach nur himmlisch. Das beste ist, dass es jede füllung mit 500g gibt. Einfach nur herrlich. Preise sehr fair.

Ich war mit einer lieben Freundin dort essen...Ich fand die Bedienung sehr nett ,das essen, gut bürgerlich frisch und die Speisekarte hat eine grosse Auswahl für jeden ist etwas dabei...Einzig für mich etwas negativ war ,dass alles sehr eng beieinandr gestuhlt (getischt ist)Da darf man keine Platzangst haben...Und es kann dadurch auch etwas laut sein...Mir hat es sehr geschmeckt...Gute salatsauce pommes knackig

Super Serviece und Essen sehr Gut

Wir haben zu fünft reserviert zum essen. Bestellt haben wir einmal Risotto, 2x Salat mit Pommes, einmal Entrécote mit Salat und eine Pizza.Nach rund einer Stunde warten, haben wir nachhefragt ob unser Essen vergessen gegangen ist (was mal passieren kann, gerade wenn alles voll ist).Nach weiteren 15min kam dann für 4 Personen das Essen. Die Pizza wurde auf 2min angekündigt. Leider, dauerte es weitere 20min bis diese dann endlich kam. Als Entschuldigung wurde angeführt, dass andere vorher noch auf die Pizza warteten.Als der Chef kam um sich zu entschuldigen, sagte er, dass er vergessen hatte den Ofen warm gebug ein zu stellen.Für uns, leider gesamt Bewertung Mangelhaft und werden daher nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Früher sehr oft mit den Urgroßeltern essen gewesen, sehr netter Betrieb. Nicht zu gross und eine familiäre Stimmung.Das Essen war auch immer sehr gut, insgesamt ein Ort zum Verweilen.

Oft in der Mittagspause hier, Mittagsmenüs sind preiswert, mit Vorspeise und Dessert. wirklich zu empfehlen. 👌😍
