We found this by chance while driving from France to Interlaken. We were pleasantly surprised with how nice the staff was in doing their best to accommodate us since we don’t speak German. We went on a Friday and had the fish dish. It was delicious! The raspberry dessert that came with the dish was also amazing. My kids had pizza and a small one would have been enough for both of them. They are pretty big! Overall, a nice lunch.

Unfortunately the cook had neglected to remove the bones from the bacon. When my Rustica Pizza cracked in my teeth for the third time, I searched for more and found eight more... I informed the staff and the nice lady reacted very professionally, apologized profusely and took plates to the kitchen. I was offered a new pizza and didn't charge me for the main course. I've been coming to this place for 15 years and this was the first time a mishap happened. Mistakes happen everywhere, but when you react in such a customer-friendly and professional manner, I even consider it to be advertising. I will definitely continue to go to this restaurant.

We ordered vegetarian cannelloni with ricotta and spinach, which contained only tough, fibrous frozen spinach and no ricotta, the tomato sauce was bland and uninteresting. To top it off, the dessert was missing from the bill, which had been charged twice to the neighboring table and was subsequently requested. All in all, the dishes in this restaurant lack the sophistication found in brother Angelo's restaurant at Rössli Gelterkinden, which is a shame. I haven't been to Itingen for 5 years now, but my verdict is the same.
