My friend and I decided to eat during our lunch break at this restaurant. By calling the boss, he told us that we can only pay by cash, using informal terms. Either. To this he added: “I don’t understand why you can’t have 20 bullets on you. » Anyway we arrive and order a fondue. So what can I say… it was more cheese kirch than fondue. The salad was bathed in sauce and the coffee was not good. In addition, the service was really sloppy, we had the impression of being a nuisance. The bill (85.-) was high compared to the quality of the cuisine. Leaving the restaurant, I felt like I had drunk 6 glasses of wine and my head was spinning... a first for fondue! Then stomach aches for both of us. I really don't recommend. It's a shame because the view is really magnificent but the service and the cuisine need to be reviewed... thank you to the boss for responding to this comment intelligently, because in view of the other answers questioning does not seem to be his watchword .

Bikers, we stopped in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday. you can even eat at 3 p.m., that’s the best! We had Ceasar's salad, they were richly garnished and succulent. Take cash, pmt by card not possible.

I went there this afternoon with my wife. We ate absolutely perfect mushroom crusts, generously topped with fresh mushrooms. For dessert, the homemade ice parfait generously drizzled with absinthe is excellent, as is my cream meringue with ice cream and fresh fruit. The prices and service are fair, and the view is exceptional. PS: the salad sauce is the best I've ever had, too bad the boss doesn't sell bottles of it 😉

Best traditional Swiss food I ever had. No words! This is a must, worth driving especially here just for this food. The chef is a magician!

Extremely cold, chilly and snowy especially during the winter. Offering a perfect spot for skydiving. Amazing experience!

A quick visit to the Paral'Aile Café after 6 months of forced closure. It's nice to meet Alex and Esther again and celebrate the re-opening with them, together around homemade ice cream. On the terrace, with this panoramic view of the plateau covered with rapeseed and in the distance, the Alps. Exceptional!

A great place, one of the most beautiful views of the Jura on the plateau...try the succulent homemade roast beef and the boss's other dishes, all made with passion. The road is closed for a few months on the Villars Bourquin side, but easy access via Yverdon- Vuiteboeuf-Bullet- Mauborget... So don't listen to your GPS...

Best café in the region with the best view, the best decor, the best owners and the best salad dressing! Delicious fresh quality food with the best hospitality. We just went to this terrible restaurant, the worse experience in a restaurant for long time. We ordered a café Glace and water bottle. Well because the coffe machine was broken no Café in the cafe glace so Okay. But the most disappointing was when the lady bring us a glass of water and in the bill this was 3.80 francs for a glass of water when I ask for the bottle that we asked she started to talk to me in a way that I couldn’t believe then she scream me and I was so angry I couldn’t believe so I talk back . Is true all the comments that we read down below… The owner try to justify her behaviour but unfortunately we won’t come back ever again. If you don’t speak French expect to be treated as trash…

Honestly a shame. The fondue was very good, the setting nice and the view magnificent. On the other hand, the chef's wife is so unpleasant that we won't set foot there again. I have rarely seen a person so obnoxious to their customers and be proud of it. It made my stomach turn, I don't go to a restaurant to experience that kind of stress. The boss seemed more welcoming, unfortunately it's not him we have in the room. Edit: we heard the waitress telling the other tables that we were "boring customers" by openly making fun of us, this is not professional. Our mistake? Asked if it was possible to pay by credit card. If you actually asked the other customers present for their opinions on us, you are even less professional than I thought. After all, keep it up, it's your establishment that will end up suffering, from our side no problem we won't come back again.

We reserved a table for 8 and came at 7, we ate well. At the time of checkout, we asked to pay by debit card, in order to avoid high credit card fees to the merchant. The boss called us boring customers. This will therefore make 8 people who will no longer set foot in your home, like our friends the paragliders who also had to be insulted in this way by this unsympathetic, uneducated person. This is a shame, and I pity the boss who I know well and who has to work with this person who is emptying the restaurant of his customers.

Terrible service!!! I strongly advise against it! If you are invited and feel obligated to go, please don't ask questions. The waitress might eat you alive.

A big thank-you ! 🙏🏼 Repeat 2 days later for the fondue at noon... between the sun which by chance (yes, we are in the year of our Lord 2021) was present that day, the departures of the paragliders in front of this splendid panorama and above all, the taste and texture of the fondue which was just perfect, we had a fabulous time 😊

I was there last week. Worst service I've seen in a long time. The lady working there was rude, and nasty. She wouldn't help you. The food in over priced, and the service is worst. 4.- chf for a 33ml can of cola.

J ai mangé une superbe assiette de chasse avant cette deuxième fermeture COVID! Snif! On voyait que cette assiette était confectionnée avec du cœur, passion et générosité. Il y avait plein de différentes garnitures, textures. Le sucré et le salé jouaient avec nos sens et excitaient nos papilles. La viande était tendre et délicieuse! "LE Restaurant du coin!" Tout d'abord une vue incroyable sur les Alpes - de Lucerne à Genève! Les menus - du jamais eu! Les champignons - le propriètaire est un Pro incroyable!! La sauce de salade - on collectionne la dernière goutte avec le pain. Les viandes - oh là là. Une tendresse - on arrive au 7ième ciel. L'hospitalité et convivialité - génial.

Ich war im August hier und eine Wespe ist mir in den Mund geflogen und hat mich in die Zunge gestochen. Der Restaurantinhaber hat sich rührend um mich gekümmert und hat mich mit seinem wertvollen Schwedenelixier veraztet und mir sogar noch davon mit auf den Weg gegeben. Noch einmal ein ganz grosses Merci, das ist eine tolle Gastfreundschaft!
