We had a wonderful time eating a Fondue outside just in front of the Mt Rigi. The views from the terrace are just amazing! But the view is not the only reason to visit this restaurant. The service is incredibly welcoming, caring about every need their customers may have. Last but not least, the Fondue was perfect, tasty, and creamy, but not too much, served with bread, potatoes, and also small pears. Desserts were at the same level, traditional and tasty. Highly recommended!

We have been to Zugerberg several times and always looked forward to lunch in the Pfaffenboden restaurant. We were there again on May 12th and felt very comfortable with a fine meal in the quiet restaurant. The host couple and the staff are very friendly and sometimes chat with the guests. There is Swiss cuisine at reasonable prices. The schnitzel plate with the perfect fries and vegetables was lovingly prepared and is even available in a smaller portion. The dessert was also very nicely presented, everything was simply great. We will definitely go to Pfaffenboden again.

Waren heute auf dem Zugerberg bei bestem Wetter. Sonne pur unten Nebel. Mit dem Restaurant Pfaffenboden waren wir aber diesmal nicht ganz zu frieden. Die Bedienung lässt zu wünschen übrig. Das Tagesmenü wurde nicht angeboten, obwohl es eines gab.... Die Holzerstube war kalt also nicht beheizt. Lange Wartzeiten nach dem wir endlich bestellen konnten... Essen war schon besser.... Zahlung mit Karte funktionierte auch nicht. Scheinbar gab es Probleme mit dem Aushilf-Personal... Wir probieren es vielleicht später nochmals.

Schönes Ausflugslokal gut besucht und gute Speisekarte ist auf jedem Fall weiter zu empfehlen
