We ate for 3 in the evening, the service was good, the staff friendly, the food good. Very satisfied, we closed it.

Food much too salty making the dish almost inedible… Waiting more than 45 minutes for the lunch break... we would have liked to be warned in advance if there were not enough staff to provide the service. The server was friendly Damage…

Wait 45 minutes, because the kitchen is “overwhelmed”; finish with tagliatelle bathed in a sauce as salty as possible and salmon - my goodness - very rubbery. Bad time, che peccato!

Charming place with an original interior courtyard

After my third visit to this charming place I decided to review it, although I always feel guilty to criticize a restaurant’s work online, specially that I know how taste is a matter of personal preferences and it varies from one person to another, I also know the amount of work that goes into each dish. Having that said, I really wanted this place to be good, since it has a lovely setting inside, a refreshing garden and a friendly staff; but that’s the thing, their Pizza’s are really average at best, but the dough is not bad. The fresh pasta taste good but the sauces lack taste (we tried 3 so far).

My pizza was very good, the place was very pleasant on a terrace in an interior courtyard, however my daughter's pizza was not the one ordered and what's more, the receipt only showed the word pizza without any details and it was was the most expensive charged on the card. As we were going to see a show afterwards, time being limited we could not waste time requesting Damage

I ordered a pizza and when I received it it was the wrong one. Then when paying, they had the nerve to charge us for the most expensive of all the pizzas which were neither the one ordered nor the one eaten.

Don't come. It's horrible. I had to send my dish back to the kitchen, even the boss was embarrassed. As an excuse? A grappa.......what you always get in Italian restaurants.

The sprite we ordered had mold on it (and was expired). Very bad faith and no commercial gesture. We left before ordering the rest of the meal. Plus, the food is in the same fridge as this bottle. Fortunately we are not hygiene inspectors...

We were very surprised by this restaurant! The sprite ordered had fungus on the lid and the date was expired. The waiter wasn't even able to apologize or offer anything. We decided to leave, and the icing on the cake, the restaurant asked us to pay for the bottle of water ordered. We do not recommend this restaurant at all, there are much better.

The Sprite was full of moldy MUSHROOMS 🍄 (~80% of the label!) and it was 5 months out of date 🤦‍♂️. We said we were going to leave because of that (we hadn't ordered food yet) and the waiter or manager didn't even apologize and took out the bill with a reproachful tone. TO AVOID. There are many good Italian restaurants in Geneva, why stop there after such an experience?

Great pizza and impeccable service.

I find that the prices are very correct, we ate well, they use a lot of oregano, which allows the pizzas to be less salty. Which allows you to eat a pizza without having to drink liters and liters of water all night!

I'm removing one star because they don't check the pass and in this time of resurgence of the pandemic, it's irresponsible.

I visited Geneva a few years back and still have daydreams about the dinner I had at Restaurant Pizzeria Italia. It was a massive portion of pesto gnocchi and I still refer to it as one of the best meals I’ve ever had!

On Saturday September 11th we went to eat for 3 people in the evening around 8 p.m. We stayed for 1 hour without service, we went 3 times to get service for free places, incopetent and bad-tempered staff. Lots of people at the table waiting to be served.

To our greatest surprise, the restaurant was, quote: “Closed due to closure”. I don't know if it was a joke but it really was in bad taste! We booked as agreed at 8:30 p.m. on the site but unfortunately no one was on site. The least we can do is close access to reservations. Luckily we were able to eat elsewhere.

It's the best pizza I've eaten in Geneva! I haven't had the chance to taste the pasta yet but I will definitely go back!!! Very kind and welcoming staff and the price is more than fair, especially in Geneva.

The food is very good but the service is terrible. The staff doesn't acknowledge you when you come in, the pizzaiolo had to ask them to sit us as we had a reservation. Same at the end, we went to the counter to pay, and they just kept ignoring us, dressing their tables until the pizzaiolo asked them to give us our bill. In the end, we just left the money on a table and left. Nobody said goodbye to us

Deplorable service as possible, unacceptably slow for a midday service in the middle of the week. The room staff strives to avoid any eye contact. We had to camp in front of the pizza maker for many minutes before being seated, despite our reservation, to the exclamations of the waiter who complained that he did not have a table. Then wait again before they deign to bring us the menu, not to mention the delay before our order is finally ready. We spent over an hour and a half in the establishment, eating a plate of pasta and drinking a soda. The waitress offered us neither coffee nor dessert. Although the room had emptied in the meantime, it was impossible to put our hands on him to ask for the bill, we had to return to camp in front of the pizza chef and wait for the latter to cheat his colleagues before receiving our ticket. Once the latter was printed, and despite the fact that we immediately asked to pay by card, the waitress preferred to go to the other end of the restaurant to clear our table, even though the lunch service had ended in view of the hour and the fact that we were the last people still there. Luckily we had enough cash on us and exact change, so we ended up leaving the money on the counter and leaving without asking for our remainder. The food was good, hence the rating of 2. The service was well below zero.

Simply passed by by chance for a refreshment while waiting for a colleague, pleasantly received by the waitress, small aperitif served. In the top.

L'Italia is a very pleasant Italian restaurant with excellent service, its terrace and its very well decorated interior. I have been going there regularly for many years and I am always very well received by Sarah and Zia, who are particularly pleasant and cheerful. I therefore recommend this magnificent restaurant and pizzeria, which has impeccable service and excellent cuisine - from pizzas to the finest Italian dishes. Correct and friendly, good value for money, especially with a Lafourchette or similar offer. A little noisy when there are people because it's quite big. I recommend the back room rather than the entrance.

Very slow and not very efficient service.

I embarked with other 6 persons to eat food to cater for vegans, vegetarians and non-of-the-previous, at a quick pace and not far away from the theater where we held our gig. Thus the Italia with pizza, paste and what not was a perfect choice considering as well a nice "Fork" discount. Food is prime but when it comes to service staff ... what happened to the smile? what happened to the Italian sense of humor? We felt we were intruding a private party! Worse: once we had eaten, no offers for coffee of sweets ... simply asked to leave because they needed our table for another group!

Nous avons profité de la Fourchette pour découvrir ce restaurant. Si les portions sont les mêmes sans le 50%, il faut avoir mangé avant. Tartare de saumon plus que quelconque comme pas assaisonné et pain sec ! Et une erreur sur l'addition pour finir. Pas une super expérience donc, on y retournera pas. Mais le service est très bien par contre.

Le menu pizza (salade, pizza et dessert du jour) est correct, les pizza sont très bonnes, le service sympa.

Good pizzas, fair price, friendly service

It is a nice place near Plainpalais. The quality of food could be better, as well as desserts. There are better pizza places in Geneva, but if you are near and want a wuick meal it is not bad neither. Staff is polite and quick. The restaurant sefves ordinary drinks like everywhere else. Desserts are mainly ice creams.

The waiter has absolutely no idea how to communicate with customers, he responds with aggressive monosyllables (when he is asked questions about the menu) and invents rules that are not provided for in the La Fourk contract; such as the obligation to order paid drinks (CHF 5.50 for a small bottle of water, a pleasure when, like me, you don't drink while eating). The food there is okay, nothing more, (however, you can find much better pizzas in Geneva that are twice as expensive). The service is also very slow!!! In short, even if it is well located, move on. Poor...

La calidad de los alimentos ha disminuido enormemente. Encontramos un gusano vivo en nuestra ensalada. Todavía me siento tan maltrecho. Y el risotto de trufas CHF 48 de mi hijo era tan insípido, tuvimos que devolverlo.Cuando llegó la cuenta, ¡nos cobraron la ensalada que tenía el gusano vivo! Por supuesto nos quejamos y no pagamos.Horrible calidad de la comida. Sería nuestra última vez viniendo aquí.
