Nice atmosphere BUT the service wasn't very good. He didn't respond to our needs or questions at all and was very unfriendly. He didn't want to deal with vegan options at all and snatched the card out of my hand. The food was not good value for money. Mezze plate for 2 people with mini plates. The couscous was rather boring and little. The pita or naan bread smelled of soap (maybe cloth wrapped in detergent).

Food is great, service serves in two languages, a “two person operation” with full action and loving devotion. What should be criticized, however, is that last year as well as this year (Murten Light Festival) his credit card terminal didn't work, despite the note about acceptance of all common credit cards, that's what it says next to the tea jugs, it's a shame we won't be coming next year. 2 times is enough (the menu selection is either way just couscous & hot/cold mezze)

We were served 10 minutes after our order... How is it possible to cook in 10 minutes? Nothing was good, no flavor except spicy. We asked the manager for some bread who replied "finish this one already" while talking about the one we had in hand in an unfriendly tone. We didn't even have tea because we were so disappointed.

Main course a tagine (quantity calculated for one person, eaten for two) with dry couscous, a chicken leg, some carrot and zucchini without liquid = CHF 43.00 (?). Dessert: 6 tiny biscuits for CHF 2.00 each. Drinks included = total CHF 123.00. Absolutely no value for money. The host pushes you to order with sometimes inappropriate and linguistically difficult to understand statements. This doesn't give the customer a chance to read the card correctly. Restaurant cannot be recommended as it is massively overpriced.
