We stayed at the Guesthouse for 3 nights and ate at the restaurant for all 3 nights - why go anywhere else! The accommodation was cozy and comfortable and met our needs and was within 20 minutes of Andermatt for skiing. The Restaurant was superb with large portions of wonderful dishes and some creative desserts! Breakfast was again exceptional with a great choice to get you started for the day. And the best part were the ladies who ran the restaurant and who were all very friendly and attentive and are a credit to the fact that this is a popular establishment even with the locals. If I come back skiing to Andermatt then I will have my fingers crossed that the Gasthaus Schafli has a vacancy.. Thank you for looking after us!

The pepper sauce had a really good taste and wasn't too spicy. My wife had the Gordon Bleu and that was also very good (I was allowed to try it). We will definitely take a detour again just to eat there.
