Restaurant Seehus in Quarten

Nice location, approachable only with boat or on foot. The restaurant has a lovely size of terrace overlooking on the lake. Pretty impressive view and makes the the restaurant experience unique. We had lunch in the restaurant and Andrea served us. She was very friendly very nice during the service thank you for the professionalism. Food and Drinks-menu is simple and reasonably price. A little longer waiting time at lunchtime, nice terrace, nice service, very good fish crispy. The rosé from the area is also excellent. In short, everything is good.

We, my girlfriend and I, stopped at the Seehus today and were personally served by the boss, Ms. Tschirky-Gasser. We enjoyed wonderful top service that couldn't be more friendly. I have never had such fine and crispy fish crispy as at Seehus and my girlfriend was also extremely happy with her juicy chicken breast. Everything was really perfect until dessert. In the end we had a bit of trouble getting into our boat and the boss was there to help us get through it. All in all, a great stay in Quinten. Dear Ms. Tschirky-Gasser - we would love to come back 👍

Came here in the weekend. Was super busy. The most beautiful view of the lake and life around it. I personally love their fish and chips . Food is very good, but not 5 star excellent. You come here for the overall hike, lakeview and enjoy the meal. Lovely service though can be a bit slow. Recommend to come in weekdays Dog friendly of course

Very nicely located restaurant with a view of the lake. Super coupe, everything is fine.

We were not welcome as guests without a reservation. We should ask guests ourselves whether we could sit at their table (which we were happy to do) or just leave so as not to overwhelm the kitchen. We waited 1 hour for the food and 30 minutes for the bill. I ordered fish with rice and spinach as it says on the menu (just without pepper) and I got fish with potatoes, cauliflower and broccoli without this being discussed with me. The reason was: Since I didn't want any pepper in the dish, other vegetables had to be cooked from scratch. I'm very surprised that the spinach isn't freshly prepared anyway, since spinach shouldn't be warmed up for health reasons. I was then allowed to pay almost 39 francs for food that I didn't order and had to wait an hour for. As you can see from the owner's answer, they are obviously not open and not genuinely grateful for feedback.

The food was very good and the portions were just right big. The dessert was also good. Be sure to make a reservation, otherwise it's quite possible that you won't get a seat, even if the restaurant has more than 200 seats. And because it was full, the food was served a little slower. But despite everything, the dessert was brought so quickly that we still reached our ship.

I had a small birthday party organized last Saturday. The organization was top from A - Z! Emails were answered very quickly and sensible suggestions/changes were made. The food was fantastic, everyone loved it. The service staff was very personable and professional. The location of the restaurant is unique with the view. A big thank you to everyone who made these hours an absolutely successful event!

At the beginning we waited a long time for service, but after that it actually worked well despite the restaurant being almost full. Fine fish dishes, fine wine and this dream view give you that holiday feeling. Be sure to reserve.

Whenever I go hiking around Quinten, a visit to Seehuus is a highlight. Fantastic zander in white wine sauce! Very nice atmosphere and very nice service! I highly recommend it!

We stayed here with a small group for a birthday. Despite the high number of visitors, we didn't have to wait long for our food. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. We will be back!

A great restaurant with excellent fish crispies and great service. Was a very nice stay.

The waitress for drinks was very friendly, but when we indicated that we wanted a bite to eat, we suddenly had to go to a very unfriendly, almost rude guy. We had indicated that we had already had lunch and that we wanted to order something small. Only the children's menu offered something to our liking and at a reasonable price. The waiter told us that we could only order from the "much too expensive" menu, for more than Chf 40 per portion. The drinks waitress tried to fix it, but that went beyond our principle. Very nice of the waitress, but the rude waiter makes me not want to eat here anymore!

Perfect classic and unpretentious kitchen where every detail is perfect. Mindfulness from cauliflower florets and children's spaghetti to the best celery schnitzel in the Milky Way. The service is also unpretentious and yet more attentive than in many chic restaurants. Only the ice cream... very nicely presented, but unfortunately Unilever only partially keeps its promise (they used to have Carte d'Or. That was more appropriate for the restaurant's standard). - I'm writing this as a vegetarian, so I'm not judging the extensive fish menu.

One call and a table is reserved for us. We are always in good hands with the Gassner family, whether indoors or outdoors. As nice as the innkeepers, the service staff is just as friendly. The exquisite wines at moderate prices, the fine food, whether fish, meat or both (surf and turf) are always excellent and with reasonable prices for high quality. The location on Lake Walen, simply beautiful, can be reached by boat from Wrrsen, Murg, Walenstatt, or for good hikers on foot from Weesen or Walenstatt. Always a pleasure

Good food, nice service, nice view. There was also a German waitress who also had a sense of humor and patience for the older, sometimes difficult guests.

Very good pancake soup, tomato/mozzarella salad was great. Fisckknusperli Seehus was very good and beautifully prepared, the chicken breast and the dessert were also great. Also worth mentioning is the service (Maren) who was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely come back.
