Rather carelessly kept restaurant in a wonderful location with moderately motivated employees. The food, however, was excellent.

August 19, 2023. Lunch. Chicken schnitzel with salads (adapted to the high temperatures). Group catering pre-ordered with information that we only have 90' ​​time when we arrive by electric boat and continue our journey by post bus. Unfortunately, the chicken schnitzel wasn't quite cooked through (for chicken = no go). Salads and vegetables are ok. Industrial salad sauce. Service staff didn't know we had pre-ordered. Brought the menu 3 times. Only after a clear request did we note down drinks and realized that there was a given time window. After that, the process goes quickly until payment is attempted. There again energetic memory. Ambiance was ok. on the terrace. What's stupid are the dogs running free in guest cities without the staff instructing the dog owners to put them on a leash.

Super nice place but we ate a tartare and I felt like I was eating a bolognese but there was a ton of ketchup and the staff was not very friendly

Wonderful restaurant, top service and best food. There are also two pools (for kids and swimmers) and a well-kept mini golf course (you shouldn't miss out on playing cheaply). The surrounding area is very attractive and overnight stays at the campsite are relatively inexpensive.

Beautiful view. Delicious rich salad plate eaten. Both companions were also very satisfied with their plate of roast beef & fresh fries & Coupe Romanoff. Trained, polite and fast service team. Chef de Service (?) also stopped by. For me, this service goes far beyond a classic tourist destination service. Thank you :)

Great summer evening with friends in front of a breathtaking sunset! The boss even brought us blankets to enjoy the terrace despite the slightly chilly weather. Very nice and not complicated.

The setting without being flamboyant is very pleasant. Some dishes are very careful. The well-appointed terrace with a view of the artificial lake, the mini-golf and the pier. But for several visits we have noticed an extremely disappointing and annoying regularity. The service ! No kindness or consideration for the customer. We sense stinginess instead of quality. Getting the salt seems to bother the waitress so much that she puts it down on the table for you with a loud noise. We asked to change the flavor of a scoop of ice cream and for them it was impossible. Not even by paying extra. They charge you 3.- per half liter of tap water to accompany ice cream. In a bottle with a broken seal and not clean. Out of 3 ice creams we receive 2 and the missing smoothie already arrives when the others have finished... It will be a long time before we return.

We only ate something to satisfy our hunger. Best carpacio we have ever had and very nice meringue and Vacherin ice cream cake for dessert

We were at Seepark Schiffenen for the first time. We can't share some of the bad reviews, they didn't apply to our evening. Very friendly service, we really liked the decor of the restaurant. Food was very good, we had perch fillet and venison pepper, both were very tender and tasted great. The appetizer and dessert were also great. We would recommend this restaurant and would be happy to come back.

I sat there by the lake with my companion in the beautiful autumn sunshine and enjoyed a coupe. The food is probably good, but there is no ambience around the house, I don't like it

Very nice atmosphere when you sit outside. You have to have a lot of time and patience for the dishes you order. However, the food is very tasty. Unfortunately, the service still leaves a lot to be desired. The mini golf next door invites you to play a game and is quite cheap at 7.-. Despite everything, highly recommended.

There weren't that good reviews, so I was curious. We only had starters but were very happy with them and the service. Maybe a little slow at times and also rather expensive in terms of price. But the view is beautiful. In combination 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5.

We are two pes. When we are there the service is friendly. We ate well and the view of Lake Schiffenen is unique. For children there is a playground and/or mini golf if required.

Long wait just for someone to take the order. Waited 15 minutes for drinks and another 30 minutes for the ice cream coupe. The ice cream was half melted when it finally arrived. Then it was just a soup with too much cream. There will be no goodbye...

Nice frame. On the other hand, the waitresses are not welcoming. As soon as they arrive and are not yet seated, they insist on taking the order in a very cold manner. The pasta was poorly cooked and tasteless. For the bill or to bring a waitress for a new order, it takes 10 minutes... still not friendly even if you place several orders... In short, it was a bad experience.

Problem of understanding, I had ordered a sparkling mineral with mint syrup, I was treated to a mint syrup with lukewarm tap water without ice cubes. Then our order of mixed salad was canceled due to a computer problem and the icing on the cake was that we got the small portion. Enough is enough, we have to hope that it does better next time, even when there are more people.

Sunday morning 9:45 a.m., nice weather, restaurant open, no service. Tables were cleaned, but the cleaning staff was unable to provide any information as to whether you could order anything. 🙄

It would be nice in terms of the location. Mini golf is getting old. Please redo it. See mini golf. Schwarzsee. Boat rental? Find an investor and then do something professional. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not convincing. The very beautiful location on Lake Schiffenen is fully reflected in the prices. The kitchen doesn't seem to be efficient, we waited 1 hour for 2 chicken salad plates and 2 portions of spaghetti. The bottled drinks “Apple Juice 3dl” that were served had an expiration date of 11/2021, and the product labels for the mineral water “Arkina 3dl” with the date printed on them were all removed. The serving staff is understaffed and overwhelmed, but overall is quite friendly.

Good service, great presentation of the plates, but bad food. The cordon bleu wasn't cooked properly, the salad plate made me happy to start eating, but the rotten black one was hidden under the beautiful green lettuce and you had to imagine the sauce! That's really a pity! Big disappointment. If you still want to stop there, then only to drink or eat a dessert.

The mini golf is good, although the holes are very uneven. But right on the lake, which was very nice. After mini golf we went to the restaurant. (Everything was reserved a few days in advance) We then waited over 2 hours for our food (!) We were also a large group but 2 hours is far too long, especially since we had to order the food before the mini golf so that it could be served "It'll be quicker afterwards"... In addition, the service couldn't speak German or English (only French). The owner was very friendly :)

The essential: the food was great. The location is great. Located on the shore of the Schiffenen lake, the lieu has most of what it takes to be fantastic. The service, although very nice, was lacklustre. We waited, we waited and waited. First for the main dish, then for the dessert, then for the bill. Only my expresso was ultra rapid. The explanation we got was that "everyone's ordering dessert at the same time". I had the strange feeling of the location, location, location syndrome...why strive for excellence when you know people come to you anyhow? Last time I visited was 15 years ago. I suddenly remembered why.

The restaurant has a very nice mini golf course adjacent to it. The material can be rented on site. We recommend!
