Gem in the middle of Interlaken and Switzerland! Food was so damn good. The chicken biryani and chicken karahi were so delicious. We all loved it so much that ate twice from here in three days. For Desis, it’s the perfect food in the middle of mountains. I would recommend it to anyone in Interlaken to try them out!

We went by seeing their reviews so food was okay but quantity was too less, and service was good and price was too expensive for there quantity, not recommended if you see the reviews and visit.

Excellent, freshly prepared meals. “Good” but not overly large portions, which I find pleasant. The spiciness is adjusted to the guest's wishes. Large selection. Menu can be freely put together from various components. Attentive, friendly host. Leftovers were given away.

Food was very delicious as if homemade. Uncle Bilal was a great host and was really kind.

I went there to pick up my order. The server asked me” What do you want from me”. I was confused for a second and he kept asking me what do you want from me with a very bad attitude. I guess English speakers should avoid this restaurant.

The food was sooooooo damn good. Bilal is a kind host and very well spoken. He made us a nice kadak masala chai in this cold weather and the samosas were SO good. The highlight was the chicken karahi, the masala was of good spice and nicely bhuno’d. Would highly recommend this restaurant for good food and a warm welcome. Will definitely visit again.

The food tastes good, and the service and dining environment are also very good. The tomato soup and curry sauce are really good, and the spiciness can be adjusted, but the chicken would be better if chicken thighs could be used.

We ate Garlic bread with Chic Pea curry It was spicy but very tasty. This is not the first time we ate here but if you like the food that taste of spice please try here you will get the real taste of real Indian or Pakistani. Next time we will try Briyani rice. Come and taste you will like as us.

Visited Shalimar restaurant, ordered chicken tandoori and dal tadka. Since this is a family running restaurant so food was delicious like home taste and they are providing best halal food in interlaken. Finally tea and mango lassi was also great which refreshes us. The restaurant owner and other staff are really friendly too.

Authentic Indian punjabi food. Owner is Pakistani punjabi and is very courteous. He was very caring and preparations were very good. We loved Bhindi masala, punjabi khadi, Alu paratha. Veg pakora was awesome. Very reasonable price and close to Interlaken center. Surely recommend

Best Indian food in Interlaken, and might I say, the best I’ve ever had? We live in New York and visit London often - where Indian food is ubiquitous. This beats them all. The food was rich, flavorful and had depth. The owner and server were very nice, excellent service.

It was on walking distance from Interlaken west station.

I stopped by at 10.30 pm while they were just cleaning up and asked them if they would serve me. They were so kind to welcome me in and said I could order anything from the menu, they would make it for me. We ordered the chicken biryani, butter paneer and garlic naans. Wow...I was absolutely blown away by the quality of food and taste. Everything was on point The quantity was much more than sufficient. The biryani was brilliant. Loved it. Spiced perfectly...a must order. The garlic naans were crispy and soft and perfectly buttered. The paneer was succulent and melted in your mouth. Don't miss it. Bilal ( the owner) will make you feel welcome and goes out of his way to make sure you have a perfect meal.

Had the best palak paneer ever , made with pride. Ordered that with the delicious butter naan .They gave me a plate with rice for free. It has a very simple interior but is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We reached the restaurant extremely hungry and we were looking for some homely Indian food after eating out for the last couple of days. The food exceeded our expectations. We ordered Egg curry and Dal Tadka with roti and rice. It was served very quickly and it was extremely tasty and wasn't oily or spicy at all. The restaurant owner was very friendly and kind. He chatted with us and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend the restaurant to everyone and would go back every time we visit Interlaken.

Worry not, get your delicious halal food here! It's better than the other india resto with a big name in Wengen. Also Bilal is very friendly and give us free rice. The toilet is super clean and they provide mattress to perform shalat/prayer!

We came here spontaneously for dinner and we really enjoyed it. There is a large vegetarian selection and the prices are really very fair compared to other restaurants in the region. In addition, the host was really friendly and had a nice chat with us. The service was quick and attentive. We'd love to come back!
