Very tasty food. There were 6 people and we almost all had different dishes. Everyone was more than satisfied and happy with their choice of dish. Always my pleasure.

Food: The food was okay, but not outstanding. The spices were a bit mild and the portions could be a bit larger. Service: The service was friendly and attentive. The service was quick and answered all questions competently. Price: The prices are typical for Switzerland, so a bit high. Conclusion: The restaurant is a good option if you want to eat Indian food near ZRH Airport. The food is okay, the service is friendly and the prices are typical for Switzerland.

Today we tried grilled potato, gobi n paneer it was so nice serving was always very good

It's self-service. After waiting two minutes, you get your food. The food tastes excellent. They are big portions. Highly recommended!!!

Not at all recommend for Indian food. We have ordered chicken Tikka biryani but received rice mixed with butter chicken after complaining nothing got changed.

Not recommended for Indian food. Had a worst experience ever.Tried both veg and non veg options. It was below average.

Worst Indian food we ever had in Zurich. For Biryani, they mixed butter chicken in rice and gave. Chicken tandoori and chicken lollypop was deep fried in the oil. We ordered butter Naan and it has a bad smell. The paneer was like a piece of rubber. The staff and chef are arrogant and they don't care about the customer. It is very much overpriced per the quality of the food and the service. Even a 1 star rating is too much for this restaurant.

A bit on the expensive side but the most authentic Indian

All halal food! We ordered starter and then the biryani ✅ The place wasn’t full for a Sun evening. The service was alright. The inside was aesthetic 👌 The food was delicious but the lassis were way too thick! I brought the biryani leftovers home and really enjoyed them! I would recommend this place - keep in mind it is extraordinarily pricey even for Zürich rates.

Maza agaya!!!!! The food quality was amazing and worth every penny …just like home food. Our server Trulio ( hailing from Goa) provided a wonderful personalized service. And the highlight of the evening for me was the masala chai. For food lovers - the ones exploring Indian cuisine and the ones craving home food … must stop shop !!

So i went to this place and Trilio served at the best of my experience I could get in the whole of Europe. Really loved the food Chefs prepared for me. Exactly what I needed as a typical Indian. Kudos to the Team working at the restaraunt.

New Indian Restaurant. Good food. Very loud when busy

I was there with my family day before yesterday for dinner quite late in the evening just before closing hours of the restaurant. We had certain requirements as we had a couple of elderly persons with us. We were pleasantly surprised with the service and the quality of food at that time of the evening. All our requirements were met, thanks to the wonderful interaction that we had with Mr. Trileo. I would definitely recommend Urban Spice.

The food was really average, even the chef's specials, so I can unfortunately not recommend that or go back. The personnel, the space and the cocktails were all lovely. Portions are big so also keep that in mind when ordering.

Best Indian(veg/non-veg) food I had in Europe. Even better than some famous restaurants in India. Too good!!

Loved it. Good food and everything we had was super tasty. They have enjoys eating space inside and outside both. We had a buffet with Indian veggies - like aloo gobhi, toor daal, rice, paneer veggie, roti. The non Indian option was white sauce pasta, which was tasty as well Must go place when you want to try Indian food when you are in Zurich

One of the best Indian restaurants in Zurich. Book your table prior to avoid wait time, specially dinner time. Taste is ok & service is top. Very near to Glattbrugg bahn.

The food was tasty; we stopped over for dinner one day and next day for snacks. The guy server we got first evening was nice but there is also this older lady who is a bit straight face and doesn’t smile. Switzerland overall is very expensive 3-5x expensive than other European cities and 5-10x expensive than USA/Canada for Indian food so be prepared to spend quite a bit. We spent close to $90-$100 for two of us for dinner without appetizers and around $40-$45 for two samosas and tea the next day (15 Swiss Frank for two samosas only versus $1-2 in USA/Canada) The second day we came for snacks the same older lady was yelling at this other server girl that we are closing in 30 minutes and to not take orders etc so that is something I would like the owner to look at

The food at Urban Spice is really very good and the portions are big enough. Ask beforehand how big the portions are because the first time I ordered a main course, salad and samosas. When I went to pick up the things, I realized that I had ordered food for three people. :D You can also take the food with you, the service is quite friendly and the menu is a bit small, but everyone will find something for themselves.

Nice location, good food, great service. We liked everything we tried. Not giving 5 ⭐️ because of some details. Example: the naan were too thin and did not taste any garlic (although we ordered those specifically). The portions are very generous. The staff friendly.

English speaking staff. Well trained staff but I did feel the food wasn't very good. The cheapest meal for two I could possible get was 50 Local currency and it wasn't authentic Asian food. It was too salty and lacked rich flavour.

New prices! 1 bread (naan with garlic) costs CHF 10.50!!! For 9fr you can get an excellent shawarma and cola next door! It wasn't exactly cheap before, but now the bow has been overstretched.

Had a really delicious Diwali dinner here. The portions are generous and the service is great. The menu is novel and interesting and not your run of the mill European Indian eatery kind. That’s the thing that sets them apart.

First of all : food tastes great, very flavorful. Quite spicy tough, in comparison to other Indian restaurants. Now, there is plenty of room to improve : You need to speak English to order. Waiter doesn't understand local language. Prices are over the top, even for Zurich area. Vegetable Biryani, basically just rice and spices with some chopped up veggies, for 33 francs is close to a scam. The 1/2 tandoori chicken was just two tighs... Not 1/2 a chicken.

Great restaurant with excellent dishes and a pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming waiters. The only negative point is that the prices are a little exaggerated for the quantity. Still worth doing to discover the flavors.

Visited this restaurant with my family on friday night and was an awesome experince. The Ambience and food was amazing. The kheema on toast was really yummy. This is easily one of the better Indian restaurants in Zurich.

So as per me and my friends experience , this restaurant staff is very unfriendly and not at all courteous to the customers We were a group of 10 people and they were not ready to join the tables and not at helpful to adjust how they can manage a big group . The staff is not at all friendly and welcoming Very rude and they especially treat indians badly Honestly it was of worst experience we were facing talking to the staff itself For 30minutes none of the staff member came to take order The food is ok but too too expensive and not worth the price I would say and request to everyone if you want a better experience of an indian restaurant in zurich , go somewhere else and skip Urban spice

Pani puuri night was amazing! Very authentic! It was a lot though, we felt bad that we wasted food, were not allowed to bring it home (I guess because people scam this way?). Would love a masala dosa brunch like your location in Luzern! Your food is amazing you are just a bit far for us but worth the trip!

This place use to be good but recently they increased the price by almost 50% without any change in quality and quantity. The prices are now same as fine dining restaurants in zurich city Just ripping off customers.

One of the best Indians in town! The food is sensational, the employees are above average friendly and nice. There are many vegetarian and vegan options, which are clearly marked on the menu. The portions in the restaurant are very large. We'd love to come back!! Price-performance ratio fits. There was even a greeting from the kitchen.

It was our last day in Switzerland and while staying near the airport we couldn't find any decent restaurants nearby. We looked up Urban Spice and judging by our amazing experiences with Indian food in general at Switzerland, we decided to go with it. We ended up ordering from Uber Eats. We ordered Dal Makhni and Vegetable Biryani. The biryani tasted very authentic and so did the Dal Makhni. The portion sizes for both was good enough as well. We were very impressed with the taste. We definitely recommend Urban Spice for authentic Indian food!!

I actually really like the restaurant and the food. We wanted to treat ourselves to Indian food from Urban Spice again this evening. But we think a price increase within a month of 25% (Biryani) to almost 50% (Naan) is simply too much (even in current times).

Awesome Indian food! Among a handful of really good and authentic Indian restaurants we have dined at, in the Zurich area. Located a bit remote outside the main city, in the Glattbrugg area in Opfikon. Well connected by tram and bus. We had the paneer tikka masala, mix veg and a variety of breads. Everything was cooked perfectly and the entrees had some really amazing and delicious flavors. Service was really good. The restaurant’s has a huge space and both outdoor and indoor sitting, and a very cool ambience/vibe. Would highly recommend when craving for some delicious and authentic north Indian food!!

Actually not bad. What I find a bit disgusting is that the chefs touch salads without gloves. After all, we have a pandemic.

Just wow! It’s not the usual inner city location, but the setup and decor of the restaurant is nice and it’s a large space. The menu is comprehensive with a great selection of authentic Indian dishes, mainly North Indian. Portions are great value for money and the service is nice too. My wife and I had a great time, the food was amazing and so we’ll be back very soon again with some family or friends to share this experience with.
