Stopped there for dinner as it was close to my hotel, and the place didn't disappoint. Very quick service, reasonable prices, and outstanding lamb shawarma. The place is very clean and well decorated, so it was a very pleasant experience, both gastronomical as well as aesthetical.

The worst shawarma in my entire life. Yesterday we were fasting and ordered 3 sandwiches. They charged 44 francs and they came out dry and burnt and the bread was dry and they couldn't eat anything like it. I was very upset. What is the difference between Schawarma and nothing else :(?

I actually always like coming here but today I ordered from eat.ch and I'm wondering how you can spend over an hour on a plate of shawarma? Absolutely unacceptable to have to wait so long for a simple order.

Waited 2 hours for Uber eats order. Little to no information. I ultimately canceled the order. It's a shame, I would have liked to give you a chance, but that was really substandard and chaotic service. I'll try it this weekend when I have more time and adjust the rating if necessary...

Went there a month ago, waited 55 minutes for food and after the second complaint our shawarma finally arrived. Today I wanted to give the restaurant another chance and waited AGAIN for 50 minutes for 4 simple shawarmas. We ended up skipping the food because we had to go back to work and we also had to pay for the drinks instead of paying for the inconvenience! The shawarmas, however, are good.

Floppy fries and cold, chewy bread. Shoarma chicken was rather bland. Will revisit and hopefully improve my rating.

Visited with 3 Japanese people who can't speak the language. The shopkeeper? If it's your first time, shawarma is good, so I ordered shawarma. Drink set costs CHF12. It was very delicious, but since I wasn't that hungry and wanted to drink alcohol, I only had half the amount. This store only sells soft drinks. The hotel was across the street, so I might have taken it home, bought some alcohol at a nearby supermarket, and stayed in my room.

Shawarma was ok, not great not bad. The guy that you order the food from with the Hair bun, is kinda always in stress and annoyed that you come for food. I mean its a restraunt. I get the impression like getting the order, telling the cook to make it and get the money is super hard for him. I was often there when there wasn't a busy day. Also when you pay he never looks you in the eye he immediately turns around or goes back to his seat. Yeah the one minute standing is hard my friend very very hard.

The owner was very nice but he seemed to be the only one working. Chicken shawarma and kafta plates were cold, meat was dry. Took a while to bring our order so we expected it to be piping hot, but it wasn’t. Side salad, baba ghanoush, hummus and thoum were great. Very close to airport so be weary of loud planes flying overhead.

We were passing by Zurich and found this restaurant online. Owners son was very kind and helpful in guiding us what to order. When we told him the order he informed us we will get Hummus with the platter so we decided not to get additional Hummus. He could have tried to upsell us but he didn't. Very impressed. We order the chicken chunks platter and fried pastries with cheese. Chicken was very tender and juicy. Everything was very fresh. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Halal! Very good Shawrama and doner at very good prices considering your in Switzerland 🇨🇭. The wraps are around 8-13 CHF and with drink and fries about 15.

Attn : Tourist who doesn't speak local language, please skip this place This place has good outdoor seating and food is just ok. Worst part is the way in which they cheat customers. We went to this restaurant for dinner and ordered 2 entrees - One chicken and another beef. They served us a single plate with just beef. When asked for chicken order they said something in local language and provided chicken. At the end, they charged us for 2 chicken entrees and when we questioned, manager of the restaurant start shouting in local language. He claimed he served chicken in the first plate , which is not true. Which restaurant serve 2 entrees in a single plate ? Avoid this place if you don't speak local language.

The place is absolutely amazing for authentic Lebanese food. The staff was very friendly. The chicken kebab platter was delicious! Love to come back!

We had a platter for two with shawarma, fatayr, kibe, assorted beef, hummus, assorted sauces and flatbread. Everything was lovingly prepared and, above all, very delicious. Very friendly and attentive service. We both found it unbeatable in terms of price, less than 50 with three drinks for everything. We'd love to come back.

So disappointed. The meat is all dry, vegetables were not fresh, their hummus is not homemade. Fries were soggy. We left half of the plate untouched. The commercial arabic flat breads are served in plastic bags. I can’t believe how little effort they put in their food, what a shame! We will never visit again.

Price-performance is OK. Unfortunately, the shawarma was very salty. Hummus wasn't the best.

I always have a deep appreciation for Lebanese cuisine. Mouth-watering grilled meats and unforgettable delightful desserts like baklava and knafeh. Must try if you have some affection for Lebanese food.

The quality of the food (mostly shawarma) varies. I don't go anymore because I don't want to eat on the off chance. Either great or inedible. I had already ordered lamb and noticed when I got home that it had chicken in it. Hummus and baba ganoush taste completely different every time. I don't like that, it's a shame, the one at the HB is always great, I don't know what they're doing wrong here.

I had lamb shawarma and my friend had classic chicken. The garlic sauce was very good, but the chicken shawarma was a bit dry (little sauce and meat dry). The lamb shawarma was okay. The waitress spoke in English the whole time while I answered in German. I thought he didn't speak German, but he spoke German to the other customers...

Shawarma restaurant, there is no selection, the menu is not really accurate, the steak was cut like a small shawarma and almost most of the meats are cut like shawarma,

It was okay... nice service and the prices are reasonable for what you get... I'll say it was cheap but more of a snack-like feel instead of a restaurant feeling

We won't pass by anymore. The owner was nice, but just one person is not enough for the service. He was overwhelmed by it. In addition, the food was inedible. The white sauce is good but everything else was disastrous. Fries were as soft as spaghetti. In addition, the waiting time is excessively long.

I want to give the food 5 stars, but the service and cleanliness is horrible. We came in the morning so they were not busy at all, there were only 4 people at one table. The guy who was helping us , he acted like he was annoyed with us and was doing us a favor, bad attitude. The worst part is that he was touching everything and then put the pittas from one big bag into separate little ones. And on top of everything he was looking for something with a spoon and then served us that spoon with a cup of tea, and the spoon was not on the saucepan , but in my cup itself. Disgusting.

If you have to dilute liquid soap with water, that really says everything about a restaurant. There is no need to evaluate the food and service.

A wonderful Lebanese restaurant and worth a visit

A bit of a walk or tram ride (3 stops) since we don't live in Zurich.. Was recommended this place by one of the airline pilots. And we were not disappointed. 17 Swiss francs for the meal we had and another 3 Swiss francs for the Fanta exotic. A 20 Swiss franc meal is so difficult to find in this city. The quality was great and the amount of food was definitely more than sufficient even for hungry guy like me. Will most definitely be coming back here again!

Tasty food for affordable prices with great service. Had the spicy lamb platter (sorry forgot the name) for 17 francs and it was absolutely delicious. I rarely finish my food but I had no trouble gobbling that down haha. The service was fantastic. Our server was so friendly and patiently explained the menu options to us. The restaurant has a real welcoming family-vibes. The restrooms are so also super clean

I ordered via just-eat, when the confirmation came and the delivery time was increased to 90 minutes, I canceled the order by calling the restaurant, which was confirmed to me by the gentleman on the other end of the line. In the meantime, an order was placed at another restaurant. Despite the cancellation, Al Mouchtar delivered, but unfortunately the food ended up in the trash. 50.- for nothing. Messy stuff like that, totally incompetent staff, not recommended

Very unfriendly and unhygienic! I also saw how a couple's forks were cleaned with a cloth and served! That doesn't work at all!

We've eaten out twice and never again. The staff is very unkempt and extremely unfriendly. They don't know thank you, please or goodbye. I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like when the staff walk around with dirty clothes. I've never seen anything like that before. Unfriendly high 2.

Very good restaurant. Very good and friendly service. A slightly different way to eat well. Attentive staff and very tasty specialties. Can be highly recommended. A culinary highlight when it comes to food. Is very well attended. Even if you only have a short time, it's worth taking the specialties with you. A deal over a shisha can also be concluded in a cozy atmosphere. A garden lounge is also available.
