The three of us were looking for a restaurant that still had a table available next to the Light Festival on early Saturday evening. We found what we were looking for in the Werft restaurant. The service was absolutely amazing and the food was, as usual, first class. Even in the winter months, this fine restaurant impresses with the highest Swiss quality.

We had a wonderful time. A team (kitchen, dining room, everyone) really attentive to details and that’s great. A service as warm as it is professional, very pleasant and friendly. Simply fantastic, tasty cuisine, a treat for the taste buds. The place is cozy and decorated with great taste. A magnificent discovery! We look forward to coming back with the nice weather to enjoy the terrace this time.

Very nice discovery on the banks of Lake Murten, a little family dinner for 3, it's the second time we've been there and certainly not the last☺️ Pleasant place, beautiful grassy terrace, modern and welcoming interior. The impeccable, smiling and professional service stands out! There is just excellent cuisine, very fresh and above all local produce, prepared with dignity by the hands of masters, each flavor differentiates itself on the taste buds and meets on the palate, it's magic! Beautiful wine list CONGRATULATIONS to the whole team and proud to have this pretty gem in our beautiful region, Small card certainly, but perfectly executed.👌🏻 A little higher for the price but frankly, there is no price for treating yourself and I HIGHLY recommend it! Yes, excellent all around! Today we once again spent a wonderful evening on the terrace of the excellent WERFT restaurant - thank you, dear WERFT team. There is a great atmosphere on the terrace with plenty of space around the dining tables. The food is world class! (I now know some of the dishes from the WERFT restaurant...) Wonderful presentation. The service team is organized, attentive, pleasantly reserved and professional. It was a pleasure. See you soon.

Starting with the location, in Summer time (July, August) it‘s a must to sit outside, it‘s just at the lake of Murten. So the Ambience is super romantic. The food and the arrangengement of the food is amazing. I had a salad, omg, I didn‘t know how beautiful and amazing a simple Market salad can be, the chef‘s definetely love their profession, what an amazing job they are doing!!! And for the main course I took the Zanderknusperli, the Swiss version of Fish&Chips, it was good, but when I looked at the other meals, I should have also tried something different. All looked great! The price is definetely worth it, great quality of food.

I am more than satisfied that I visited this restaurant. I come from Bern and the Werft restaurant here in Faoug was exceptional. I believe that this restaurant should be awarded by prestigious guides such as Gault Millau or Michelin. The quality of this restaurant is exceptional and it offers a dining experience worthy of an award.

The welcome is perfect, with great suggestions. The service is excellent and very attentive. The whole group chose different meals. The arrival of the dishes was perfectly coordinated. From starter to dessert, our choice was delicious and of perfect quality. The choice of wine was also very well done. A big thank you to the entire team who accompanied us throughout this wonderful evening.

Top restaurant in a very beautiful location. We have already been there several times and each time it is delicious! Small menu but each dish is well thought out and elaborate. I recommend without a doubt.

Friendly service, great ambience, good food

Outing for 4, discovery for each of us. The service was very pleasant, attentive, bilingual and in a good mood. Each plate was decorated with care and each dish was a taste surprise. In summer the terrace must be magnificent, we will come back to try it. The setting is original, modern but warm. Original food and drink menus. My only downside, we would have to add a door to the entrance airlock because we felt a small current each time the door was opened.

For the first time in this restaurant, we spent a pleasant evening, well received, nice atmosphere, and excellent dishes! We will come back 😃

Stopped by spontaneously, the restaurant was quite fully booked, we were very kindly advised to take away or wait half an hour, we decided on the second one. We took an aperitif - fortunately, the staff were very friendly, helpful, great menu, beautiful location, great combination of dishes, from VS to HG for dessert, great wines - with passion behind it, will definitely come back... keep it up!!! 😀

Excellent, superb terrace, beautiful presentation of the dishes, wonderfully tasty. Great discovery after a short walk (10 minutes) from the Faoug landing stage. 👍👏

However, I rated this place so highly and I am turning around after several derogatory, rude and denigrating remarks from one of the people serving who I would say is one of the managers of the restaurant...the error coming from him in not having not reserved the table I wanted 1 week in advance, preference for my children...he rectified the situation by placing us elsewhere...but these comments remain so inappropriate that they are inexcusable....moreover he had specified to offer us a drink as an apology which was not done to top it off... too bad before I would have said that it was perfect but apparently when the tables are full and the restaurant is busy in the summer...we do the unthinkable with the customers...what a shame....

Great restaurant in a great location, friendly staff. Starter and main course were awesome 👍. The only point of criticism was the dessert... I ordered Espresso 2.0 - cost 15 SFr... I got 2 scoops of espresso ice cream, I was expecting something more creative for the price... I would still come back again and again ...

Beautiful and large shaded terrace. Arrange with taste. The dishes are refined and have excellent flavor combinations in addition to being generous. Pleasant and helpful staff who speak both French and German. Very nice discovery!

Nice atmosphere, nice terrace. We just wanted to have a quick drink, but the waitress told us that she was disappointed and that we should leave as quickly as possible. That's what we did... So the visit wasn't that great, but we can imagine that dinner could be nice. However, the prices are quite high, so you should know that in advance.

Very nice restaurant right on the lake. Perfect cuisine and very well trained, attentive staff! Whether for a romantic meal with company or a banquet, the location with the beautiful garden restaurant and the awnings remains unforgettable. Another thing worth mentioning is the beautiful lighting of the poplar trees.

The restaurant is a wonderful discovery. The location with a view on the Lake Murten, the way the terrace is set up, little details such as bread and home-made tzatziki on arrival, lights and candles on the tables when it got a little dark, contributed to us feeling wonderful. The food was delicious, we had octopus and beef tartare and roast beef with fries, all melt-in-your-mouth good and beautifully arranged on plates with the same attention to detail as the restaurant setup. The staff were friendly and smiling and played along with our jokes. I cannot wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!

Couple 30 years Came on 18.6.2022 We discovered the restaurant via Instagram with the different photos published which are just sublime. Intrigued we took our reservation and asked for the terrace because the weather was excellent. The ultra friendly setting, very well decorated, sublime terrace with maintained lawn. Ultra friendly staff, smiling and giving you great advice on wine :) As for the dishes, a menu that changes regularly I think, a small menu but with dishes mastered from A to Z. Frenchement of great cuisine and great quality As far as my wife is concerned, it remains the best burger to eat. Huge amount of tuna and lots of fresh flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is really delicious, very special and unmissable. Parking space available. We will come back because we would have liked to taste everything See you soon and thanks Da Costa

Don't lose this address, it would be a shame. Great discovery, very friendly staff, nice menu with dishes that are a little strange, but once in front of you quite surprising, a delight.

We went to dinner at Werft and were delighted with our meal. The products are fresh, seasonal and varied. Lots of delicious flavors on the plate 😋 The service was also very good and the terrace was very pretty. We will return there, for sure!

Yesterday's confession was just great. At the aperitif by the lake we were attentively treated to food and drink. The meal that followed was very tasty. The dessert, Fior di Latte Glace with fresh strawberries and basil sprinkles, particularly surprised me with its creativity. It was very delicious. I'll be back.

Excellent cuisine, all meals are cooked to perfection. Wine list with well-selected local wines. The location is in the harbor and the terrace is fabulous in summer, especially at sunset. Staff very professional and nice. You feel welcome. Why not stop by and let yourself be pampered?
