Good food, reasonably priced, homemade pasta, friendly staff, I would definitely recommend it

Very very tasty food, excellent service. Bread before the main course was always new as soon as we had finished eating it :) and there were also limoncello shots at the end!

The food from the Schweizer family was really good. The owner changed a few years ago and we were there twice. Once for ice cream, once for a main meal. Neither tasted really good. When it came to the ice cream, we had the feeling it was some cheap ice cream from a discount store that had been in the freezer for years - terrible! The plates weren't nicely arranged either. It was the last time for us.

A traditional Liestal restaurant that can still impress today. Luckily, the restaurant still has its old charm and you can still spend a cozy evening with family or friends. The service was always attentive and the menu has a lot to offer. In short, there is something for everyone. The plates were beautifully presented and there was a decent amount of portions. We really enjoyed it and can recommend a visit.

Home-style cooking, very polite staff! Prices reasonable for Swiss standards. Not necessarily for vegetarians, but there are 1-2 vegetarian dishes. Ambience very homely and rather rustic. Reservation is usually not necessary, but I would recommend it.

Large selection of menus. Lunch always with salad and dessert, the price is right. Often you are offered the cafe after lunch... Which is not a given. Wheelchair accessible. You always feel welcome and everyone is very nice. I always enjoy coming here to eat.

The food and the staff are great. In the summer the terrace is great.

I actually wanted to visit my former music colleagues, with whom I played music until 30 years ago. But we also wanted to eat. They played in a small hall on the first floor. The menu was therefore a little smaller. But we found something to eat that suited us. My wife ordered the veal cream schnitzel with nüdeli and I ordered veal liver Madeira with rösti. Both were very good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is of course more pleasant than in the small hall, but the service was good. We will definitely come by again, but then eat in the restaurant.

Was okay. Service was taciturn and indifferent. Food a little too salty and vegetarian selection was unsatisfactory. I wasn't asked if I wanted a lemon wedge in the drink, it was just already in there... It's also a shame that the fries were no longer packed in the doggy bag.

Good home cooking, extensive menu. The decor is no longer up to date, but the staff is always friendly and the food is okay. In the summer it's nice to sit on the terrace, there are lunch menus, but an hour's break isn't enough for that.
