We celebrated our wedding at the winery in September. The location is very nice and the contact with the team is always friendly, the food was great. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed with the organization and I hope that this comment will make them try harder and save future brides and grooms a lot of frustration. Despite repeated discussions, even with the boss Sabrina, what was discussed was not carefully noted down, so I kept finding errors in the planning document, we had to say some things 2-3 times, etc. When it came to a detail that was forgotten at the party, it was said "sorry, I didn't know that by heart." I don't understand why everything isn't documented. At the party, an aperitif drink was incorrect, but would have been written down correctly, and a table setting was missing. When I asked for emails, they said they would get in touch, but that never happened. I waited weeks for an answer and only received it when I asked again. In the middle of our preparations, the price for the location and photo box was increased in the planning document, without noting anything else. When asked, they said it was a mistake. At first it was said that there was no ceiling decoration on site (lanterns, lights...). It was only by chance that we found out in time that the decorations were still there. Our party was on a Sunday. It was said that everything would be tidy and clean by 11 a.m. However, no one on site made sure that everything went smoothly and that the previous day's wedding was cleaned up on time, so they put their things away way too late. The highlight was the apparently sick cleaning lady. Our groomsmen team arrived at 10 a.m. to prepare, everything dirty, nothing put away, no one on site. Only after a phone call with Sabrina were replacement cleaning ladies brought in. No cleaning lady was organized independently. As if our team hadn't already had enough stress with the preparation itself. The cleaning team didn't start cleaning until around 11 a.m. (when they had to be finished). The cleanliness was poor. I then cleaned one of the toilets myself (as a bride!). Due to all the stress and delays in cleaning and tidying up from the day before, we didn't have enough time to prepare, so unfortunately some details that would have been important to me (given the intensive preparation time that took months!) were lost. Last but not least, in addition to our digital photo box photos, we were also sent those from the wedding before. That shouldn't happen (plus they had a different picture background and we were told that wouldn't be possible). Overall we are really disappointed. So much preparation, so much meeting/contact with the Rheintal Catering team, so little worked. Fortunately, we were still able to enjoy our day very much, the food was very good and the location itself is great, but in retrospect the frustration outweighs all of it, so I had to write it down. It's a shame, we can't report better.
