Rice Go in Lugano

Very affordable, delicious, and the boss is very nice!

Terrible. If you are vegetarian and want the lunch menu they will give you rice with "vegetables". By vegetables they practically only mean broccoli (and by broccoli they mean the stalk of broccoli, hard and inedible), 2 almost invisible slices of carrots and 2 small pieces of courgettes. All for 13.50 fr? A robbery. 7 different types of meat/fish options, but not even a tofu or protein vegetarian option that justifies the price of the dish. Never again will I come here. If you are looking for vegetarian options on the same price line (but more generous portions) for lunch I recommend Kind Thai in Besso or the new Vietnamese in Molino Nuovo da Sung.

Paid 25.80 for 1 box of sweet and sour pork and 1 box of kung pao chicken. Both taste great. Served by a very friendly lady. Will definitely return. This is the place to go to if you are looking for affordable and chineae food.

They're really exaggerating. Take away rice for one person 8.50chf! A take away dinner for one person costs almost 28chf.

The shrimp fried rice is delicious, business is booming, and there is an endless stream of people. The boss is also very kind and allows me to swipe my card even though I don’t have any cash!

They have both Chinese food and sushi. The gyoza was great. The dishes tasted very fresh. The kung pao was different than I was used to but still tasty.

After being in Italy and Swiss for almost a month, the Chinese entrees offered by this small takeout are life savor ! I ordered beef with onion / Gunpao chicken and tofu with veggie, all are tasteful comparable to those offered by fine restaurants of Taipei!

I tried to contact the owners directly to compliment them but I couldn't find a way. However, I'll leave my thoughts here, you're really GREAT 😍 congratulations

It is difficult in Lugano to find any restaurant that is not either Italian or Swiss Italian, but rice go definitely changes things up. Not only does it offer something different, but the quality and taste are both amazing.

Quick and friendly service, you can pay by credit card, the portions are generous. I recommend, if perhaps you want something particular and you have to travel specifically from "far away", (perhaps because the deliveries do not reach your home), to call to ensure the portion and to avoid making an empty trip.

It's good but it costs way too much

We stayed in Lugano for almost one week vacation, and already ordered 3 times (2 at lunch time and 1 at dinner time). We really enjoyed the taste of all the dishes and the sushi, with fresh ingredients and delicious cooking. It is very impressive to reach such a level from a take-away service.

The shrimp with vegetables was great while the almond chicken was just average. Rice isn't included so you need to order it separately. Overall pretty good!

Best Chinese food we've come across in Switzerland... It's authentic, not too salty or greasy. Well balanced flavours. Sweet and sour chicken was excellent. Went back another time for Beef with vegetables (spiciness level can be requested, had asked for mild spicy). The beef was soooo tender! Had also tried 4 different sushi boxes in total. All were excellent... Tasty and the rice was of the right texture and amount. Reasonable Swiss prices for good food. Staff are kindly, flexible and were smiling (it's evident even while wearing hygiene masks!) If I live in Lugano for sure I would keep returning.

Assolutamente disorganizzati e per nulla onesti nel comunicare gli orari di delivery. Ci viene dapprima detto che per le 1915 avremmo avuto il cibo, mezz’ora dopo ci chiamano dicendo che avevano un’ora di ritardo per poi, dietro nostra sollecitazione, sentirci dire che alle ore 2040 l’ordine non era ancora stato ritirato.Consigliamo di non fare il nostro errore e di pagare solo alla consegna.

Per la prima volta ho provato le proposte di Rice Go. Ho preso del manzo alle cipolle con riso nella forma take away. Ottimo, sapori decisi e ingredienti freschi. Da ritornare al più presto. Consigliato!

A Lugano serviva proprio un locale come Rice Go.Lo consiglio vivamente: personale fantastico, porzioni generose, cibo ottimo, consigliatissimi i piatti tradizionali cinesi e il sushi. E i prezzi non sono esageratamente alti. Almeno una volta alla settimana faccio take away da Rice Go. Continuate così!
