Not recommendable. I ordered here yesterday. The sweet and sour chicken was actually small cubes of fat with far too little sauce. The satay skewers also tasted like they were 3 days old. I can't understand all the good reviews. Only the spring rolls and the dim sum were okay.

The boss and store clerk are very friendly. The food is very delicious, you must order the mapo tofu and sweet and sour pork. Highly recommend dining here!

All really good. I was here for dinner with friends and we devoured everything. Everything was perfect and, according to the owner (and I believe it), everything was done by them. Very kind staff, all with a disarming education and always with a smile on their faces. I felt at home! Not to mention the great prices. The 4 of us took 3 spritzes, 10 plates of appetizers, 4 first courses and 4 desserts, water and coke, and we paid 169.- in total!

We decided to visit Orient Express based on the amazing reviews and we are so glad we did it. We loved the food very much, the service was impeccable, and we got to meet the owner, an amazing hard working man! We will be back!

Highly recommended Chinese food , huge servings and good price for Switzerland. My wife and I went there for lunch, we had the fried rice, sweet sour pork, beef stew with potatoes, fried broccoli, mapo tofu, fried eggplant and noodles. My personal favourite was the beef. I am Singaporean Chinese and the concept is like our mixed economical rice where you can mix and match your dishes. All in plus 2 bottles of green tea it was only 37 CHF.

Excellent, menu card a little smaller than the standard, better little but good... I would only say that the dishes are a little "Westernized" in flavor. In any case, the excellent quality of the products is evident. I advise the chef to add some new dishes to the menu because the risk is that after having been there more than a couple of times, you might get bored of always eating the same things even though you liked them.

It's not an ordinary Asian restaurant. For example, they don't know the Sichuan classic and they don't have fried noodles there either. We had to deviate from rice noodles and Canton style rice tasted perfect. hence the 3 stars

Best Chinese restaurant in Lugano ever. The staff is very courteous and the service is very fast. Even though I didn't order by phone, they served me in 10 minutes! The prices are very good and the portions are generous. The menu is not the typical Chinese restaurant menu with a thousand dishes to choose from. There are about ten proposals per course and you avoid getting confused by various useless choices. However, the most important thing in the end is goodness, and here we are on the safe side! Every dish I ordered was sublime! The sweet and sour chicken and the fried pork with peppers are highly recommended. Overall the quality is much better than that of the restaurants in Ponte Tresa and surrounding areas. The price is slightly higher obviously, but for the quality and flavor there is no arguing! A thousand times better here! Highly recommended!

Auch der Lieferservice hat vorzüglich geklappt. Der Preis- und Leistungsservice stimmt. Preisniveau angemessen, saubere Toilette. Wir können dieses Restaurant bestens empfehlen und werden es selber beim nächsten Besuch in Lugano wieder geniessen.

Das Fleisch (Rind wie auch Poulet) waren super fein und zart. Wir hatten beide eines der besten chinesischen Essen, welche wir je gegessen haben. Kompliment an den Koch!Die Einrichtung ist eher einfach, die Bedinung jedoch sehr freundlich und alles zusammen zu einem sehr fairen Preis.

I called at 10.30 to reserve a table and order food a la carte (since I didn't like the buffet last time) but when I showed up the food hadn't even been prepared, the waiter wanted to serve me from the buffet. In addition to this episode I would add that they are very slow in serving customers, and I didn't find the food to my liking. Not recommended, I would not return
