Big praise to the team. The food, especially the spicy sandwich (with cucumber) was amazing. Fries were super crispy and Richie's sauce was a hit too. A small negative point: there was a strong/penetrating smell of frying oil in the store. Could it be that the trigger didn't work properly? Because my clothes and also in the car smelled quite strongly of frying oil the next day. Sons is definitely a location that is on my Chicken Sando shortlist.

I’m a frequent client of this restaurant, but since they opened the new store this one has became a chaos. Even when I ordered online they call me to tell me that my order will need 15 more minutes, I arrived at the time they asked me and I needed to wait 30 more minutes. Some weeks ago I needed to wait almost one hour. Today I went 18 minutes before 2pm and they told me (in a zero polite way) that they cannot cook anything because they already cleaned. I’m sorry but this is a fast food restaurant so I don’t understand why everything became so complicated. I will definitely stop eating in this place.

I love their spicy burgers and tenders, I keep ordering them back. The restaurant itself might benefit from some more heating during winter as when I went there it was quite cold.

Richie’s Chicken has the best fried chicken and chicken sandwich around! The three homemade sauces (Garlic Ranch, Honey Mustard and Spicy Mayo) are all highly recommended and offer something for every taste. I also think the spicy chicken tastes very good and the spicy sauce goes well with the fries! The location is simply, inviting and comfortably furnished and the staff is very warm and friendly. Definitely worth (more than just) a visit! :)

Were there 1 hour before “kitchens closed” & they said they only had food left for a group that came in 2 minutes before us. I find it outrageous that people come from further afield to visit this store and end up not even getting food.

I love this restaurant, and whenever I have the opportunity I always stop by to fill my belly. Today there was a very loud group of 3 people, who disturbed the rest of the customers. The Tweezyy maybe you were this (I heard the workers talking about it shortly after) I find it really scandalous that the restaurant receives negative comments for people who are dissatisfied with their lives. Fun. Number 1 fried chicken!!!

Freshly prepared burger with top quality On my first visit to Richi Chicken, I enjoyed an excellent, freshly made burger, although the wait was around 25 minutes. The quality of the burger with its fluffy bun, fresh chicken, and excellent breading and pickle was impressive. While the processes could be optimized, I still give the restaurant a full five points as the taste and freshness of the burger definitely made the visit worthwhile.

The burger was very good, fries were okay and the sauces weren't really earth-shattering. For 10.- (chips, sauce and Doesen drink) you can expect more. The price of the burger was high, but we didn't have to wait long for the food. The level of spiciness of the “spicy” burger was rather medium but good for us. The restaurant looks rather cold and doesn't invite you to linger.

No one knows how it's realy work COMBO Aktion. On receipt is staying combo in box is nothing more like you chose from prise list. And fries were to much salty. But taste from chicken crunchy and good.

Staff bad 1h wait time chicken worse than popeyes

Waited 50 minutes for the food. When the 8 orders that were placed after us left the restaurant, I went to ask after 45 minutes. Part of the order had been sitting around for 10 minutes. The rest was only thrown into the deep fryer when asked. Tiny downer, chicken was okay. Unfortunately, the staff was completely overwhelmed.

Best fried chicken in Zurich, perfectly fried and juicy. Fries are okay. Would stick with original chicken, the spicy sauce was not what I wanted - more of a slightly spicy, sweet gochujang sauce than really spicy and tangy. My recommendation - get the original sandwich and put some Frank's red hot on yourself (really @Richie's you should have Buffalo as sauce choice!) :)

The chicken was really very good, crispy and juicy inside. The sauces were also very good and went well with the chicken. The order was completed in 10 minutes. Would recommend it to everyone 10x better than KFC!

Was there for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Fries are good but not special. However, you come to Richie's for the chicken, and again it's very good, especially the portions are very large. The only thing that could be criticized is the somewhat high price. I will definitely come back to try the spicy version and other sauces.

Best fried chicken in Zurich, by a wide margin. My personal favorites are the bites and the burger (classic). Incredibly crispy and delicious, the fries and bites of course with Richie's Special Sauce.

Went to this place for the first time, but definitely not the last. Great service, the spicy chicken sandwich and honey mustard dressing were the highlight! 2 brothers own this restaurant and they have great service and are really friendly.

Post-partum review after switching over to vegetarianism but wanted to let the people of Zurich know that this place rocks! Closest thing to a american-style fried chicken in the city. A little expensive but so is everything else here.

Place gets rave reviews and all the hype. Having had it twice I really don't see it. It's just normal chicken at above normal prices.

Has the appearance of a fast food chain, but is actually a local restaurant specializing in chicken dishes. The chicken is fresh and crunchy, especially the spicy sauce (seems like Korean BBQ) is fantastic. The cheese in the sandwiches isn't molten, but it seems like it's just cheese that won't melt easily, and the sandwiches are great anyway.

I ordered a four-piece spicy chicken bites and was very pleased because I’ve missed the taste of Korean fried chicken very much. What stood out and made me very impressed was the staff who was very, very kind and polite and I was very happy. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have the biscuits anymore😢

This place literally saved us a lot during our trip in Zurich, and it's totally worth the money! Authentic Korean fried chicken in sweet spicy sauce, good cajun fries and must-try homemade special dip. From a KPOP fan, must say I hope to see this cozy restaurant developing more in the future.

Do they make it mandatory to hire nice staff or what? Reading the reviews and experiencing it myself, I can say their staff is really nice yet professional! Chicken was pretty good too! V crispy outside and juicy on the inside. I tried the original and it had a subtle herb seasoning! I'd try the spicy one to see if there's a bit more flavour as I like my stuff more heavily flavoured! Oh, and PLS get the ranch sauce - really yummy:) Overall great to satisfy fried chicken craving

Not the most healthy food but great comfort food. Tastes great.

They have their own toilet, but only someone like Heidi Klum can use it. The employees were extremely friendly, even when I made a few criticisms publicly. The food leaves a little to be desired. We simply popped the crispies between the bread and served. Unfortunately the burger was cold.

Whether good or not. Totally CATASTROPHIC pricing policy. Chicken burger for 15 CHF? 10 CHF (!!!!!) extra charge for a drink, fries and cola? 6 CHF surcharge for tenders, bites and flats if you want them spicy (for burgers it's 1 CHF). Are you crazy? Apart from the incomprehensible composition, this is still junk food. But sell it under the guise of “fresh ingredients blah blah”. I'd rather go to the slightly worse Popeyes, pay less, but get better value for money.

Best fried chicken in all of Zurich, there's really nothing wrong with it in my opinion. The only criticism: the price. Since the reopening, the prices have risen considerably and are now barely affordable for me as a student, which is a shame. Food is usually very expensive in Zurich and I was even more pleased when I discovered Richie's Chicken. Now Richie's Chicken has apparently also become a victim of gentrification. If a sauce were given for free with the chicken and ketchup for the fries was either included or a tube was available for customers in the store, the whole thing would be a little more justifiable. Another criticism: At the local eater, everything is served in disposable dishes, which is very questionable given today's knowledge about sustainability etc. The mountain of waste after consumption is enormous, and the cutlery is also made of plastic. There is certainly still a lot of potential for improvement. Or just install a washing machine :)

Richies! We had such high hopes for you! Your Insta had us drooling! 5 stars for service, we support local businesses. Minus 1 star because your prices are high, and minus another for your spicy sauce which left us in complete heartbreak. My fellow Americans, don't be fooled by that chicken drenched in that sauce, it is neither buffalo, Frank's hot, or Korean style. Its not even spicy, just kind of tastes like cayenne pepper in syrup (which sadly makes the crispiness soggy after awhile). If you want to try them be sure to go for their plain! (Or maybe try to work on improving your spicy sauce?)

Best fried chicken in Zurich 👌🏼

We took the original and the Korean version. The pieces look huge. But after cutting it open you can see that around 40% is meat and the rest is fried dough. In terms of taste, everything was very undefined and the whole thing cost around CHF 50.00. Unfortunately, price performance is absolutely inadequate in my opinion. Anyone who has been to Korea and hopes to find an approach to Korean Fried Chicken can save themselves time and money.

Very good boneless chicken wings, probably the best in Zurich. Classically breaded or additionally in a spicy sauce (à la Buffolo Wings). Crispy, spicy, tender. Also a great chicken sandwich! Again any time! The only negative point: the fries are boring convenience stuff, that could be better ;)

The burger, boneless pieces, biscuit and fries they're all awesome - make sure to order some extra garlic dip and you're set!
