Ristorante Bistro Casino di Locarno in Locarno

Corporate dinner, excellent food, well prepared and presented. But the glasses were not to be taken away before the empty plates.

Despite a nice terrace, I prefer it indoors as it only has slight air conditioning in the summer. Today around 400 Indian motorcycles were here for an aperitif and parked in front of the bistro. Excellent. You can always find something fine to dine on and the daily menus on weekdays are good, reasonably priced and varied.

Ate very well! While walking on the evening of January 1st, almost everything was closed, passing in front of the Locarno Casino we see that the restaurant inside is open and so we decide to stop for dinner. The very kind and smiling waiter immediately assigns us the table and brings us the menu card. The restaurant offers Ticino and international cuisine and pizza. It has around forty seats. We then order a vegetarian pizza and a plate of fish and chips. Within about twenty minutes they served us the dishes together and they looked very delicious and so it was. The pizza was well seasoned with mixed vegetables and fresh basil leaves, the dough was very crunchy and also very digestible, while the fish and chips with a side of french fries and its tartare sauce was delicious. Generous portions and average prices. The staff were very friendly and even asked us if everything was ok a couple of times, very professional and customer focused. The restaurant is also accessible to wheelchairs and has a car park (parking garage) just below. We will definitely be back to try new dishes, I recommend it.
