I wasn't served. I wanted to have a drink on Sunday, March 26th. The garden terrace was open and an unfriendly older employee with bad German said what do you want outside? It's a shame with such service I'll never dare step into the restaurant again and very much make bad advertising. I take a position on your information. It wasn't 10:30, it was 11:30. They apparently didn't notice that the summer time had changed was dry Only the outer row of the terrace were the chairs tilted inwards but since the inner row was inviting to sit and you didn't get wet at all because the sun was still in the way, it was quite clear that it was served I live in Derendingen and I'm even a neighbor. I'm going to do very bad advertising, it's already started and for me, the friendliest thing is if you warn the customer and don't negotiate between the window and the garden terrace

I bought a pizza two weeks ago for 16 CHF, the only thing that was really good was the taste, everything else was a disaster, more pizza dough than pizza, and it wasn't a visually pretty sight either, which you can still understand. I would be ashamed to sell something like that to customers at a price of 16 CHF. The first and last time I bought a pizza.

Friday evening. Food was delicious, service was very charming and competent. Pizza has great dough and the ravioli with porcini mushrooms and truffles is a delight. We will be back.

We discovered this very spicy restaurant by chance. It is very tastefully decorated and offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We were given a very friendly welcome and had a very attentive and nice waitress. The boss personally picked the fresh mint for Hugo. Our meal was very tasty, although the pizza could have stayed in the oven for 2 minutes longer and the tagliatelle were a little too salty. All in all it was a very nice visit to Da Giuseppe.

This restaurant is not recommended! Anyone who eats something here has only themselves to blame! We had a women's evening and were happy to have something nice to eat here. Quality of every order was a disaster! Service unfriendly. Once and never again! Also bad advertising is advertising Mr. Giuseppe.

I'd already gone out for drinks a few times, with friends and family. The ambience is very nice, as is the location. I knew these rooms from my earlier years, when it was still a tea room and I lived in Derendingen. Cannot be compared today, in a positive sense. At the beginning of 2024 I will be moving back to Derendingen and I originally planned to spend a lot of time here and probably eat something too. I received a lot of positive feedback regarding the food. But that's all over with today's experience. The reason is this: I originally wanted to eat a pizza here today as a surprise for my girls and then drive to my mother, who has lived in Derendingen for over 40 years. When I got there and parked, it occurred to me that I had to grab something from Denner (which is next door to the restaurant). Since my two children didn't feel like waiting in the restaurant alone, I left them alone in the car for a moment and walked to Denner. When I returned after just 5 minutes, I already had a bus stuck to the windshield of my car (and no sign of the police officer) I emphasize, less than 5 minutes later. My two daughters, who were sitting in the car, were also a little scared when they saw this strange gentleman waving around at my car and so they closed the car from the inside. When I came back as described and saw this, I was so angry and disappointed that I no longer wanted a pizza at “Da Guiseppe”. In principle I understand that but in this case one could have been a little more tolerant. Apart from that, there were still plenty of free parking spaces. As already described, I was not a black parker. Every now and then you should try to have a conversation and not immediately play the policeman. It felt like they were after it. One thing you should know, I will advise everyone not to come to their restaurant, because I know them, and I also know many who have already been to their restaurant... (it's not always just the good or bad food that matters) It's a shame that it turned out this way. For me it's not about the fines, that has nothing to do with their food, it's about the situation and principles. Not exactly the fine art, Mr. Giuseppe.

I've had diarrhea for 3 days straight from eating at this restaurant. WE WILL NEVER EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN!!! 10 stars minus!!!

I went there several times in the evening and each time I liked the food. The staff is friendly. In addition to the menu there is the seasonal menu with lighter products for summer. The only downside for me was the cappuccino which wasn't to my taste but I'm a picky eater when it comes to coffee🤗

Went to this restaurant today with a colleague and my 3 dogs. We didn't exactly feel welcome. Even though we saw 3 employees there, no one came up with the idea of ​​offering my dogs water. The highlight of the story was that we were charged 24 Fr instead of 22 Fr for the strawberry frapees. When I asked, we were given 2 Fr back. Without apology, of course. We would be happy to spend our money in another restaurant.

Very tasty food. The children were given toys to pass the waiting time and painting supplies. Nice, clean changing station. A play area might be a great addition. Otherwise everything was great!

A very fine restaurant! Typical Italian dishes and the prices are pleasant. The only thing that needs to be improved is the service. I had to wait 45 minutes until we could finally order, that was too long.

Everything perfect: salad, pizza, dessert highly recommended.

Great Italian restaurant, with good quality. Even if it's a little cheaper, you get enough for your money. I'm looking forward to next time. The starter was Bruscetta la Mortazza, crusty bread with mortadella and mozzarella. For the main course I had the pasta with pesto and buratta, my counterpart had the pasta with porcini mushrooms, both were very good. There are two things I would like to point out. Firstly, spaghetti carbonara is listed on the online menu, but it was not on the menu in the restaurant, please correct. Second, the dessert, while tasty, was a bit disappointing. The tiramisu was with cream and probably some mascarpone and not egg. For me this is not a real Italian tiramisu. I would also avoid the dark chocolate sauce and cream, that doesn't suit the restaurant, and the portion is a bit large, especially after a main course. The panna cotta was very good, delicately creamy, with warm berries. What's still missing is a tip from me. It would be really great if you offered a dish that changes seasonally. Maybe a dish from Italy that you won't find in every other Italian restaurant. According to the homepage, the owner and chef comes from Sicily, so there are definitely a few Nonna dishes that we don't know here. ;)

The food was satisfactory and the restaurant still has potential for growth. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not satisfactory because we had a small piece of beef entrecote and little side dish for CHF 42.-. Service was prompt and always friendly.
