Widder in Derendingen

Saturday night... We spontaneously moved the continuation of my Gebury celebration to the Widder restaurant. Top hospitality with friendly service. Even the cake we brought with us was cut open and served without any ifs or buts. Gladly again...

Salad totally overpriced for a few leaves that were completely in a salad dressing with large pieces of garlic. Unfriendly service. We must have had a bad day. For us it was the last time sorry

I ordered the Solothurner Wyysüppli as a starter. It wasn't quite the Wyysüppli that I normally knew. But it was fine. For the main course I had spaghetti carbonara which was very tasty. For dessert, homemade tiramisu. I will definitely come again. The waitress was friendly, not intrusive, and did her job very well.

Unfortunately, this time we were disappointed, even though there were 12 people who ordered our wedding meal after the wedding, pork fillet much too fatty, no additional sauce, nutsedge salad, too little sauce. Service wasn't as attentive this time. In and for you, the bride and groom should be served first. The invoice was still calculated despite the agreement not being adhered to despite prior agreement. Please ask for a callback which will no longer be sent by post Invoice received and now paid. It's a shame, very, very nice people there. We always ate very well there and received friendly service. Whether we will come again probably remains to be seen. I called back several times and got no response. It's a shame

We ate game, it was very tasty, the service was top 👍. The place is very cozy. It was simply a successful evening. We would like to come again . Great value for money. Unfortunately we forgot to take photos. Let's catch up next time.

We had an excellent meal and were served very well. We remain loyal to the Widder restaurants, whether in Zuchwil or in Derendingen.

The salad is fresh and doesn't come from the fridge, the pizza 🍕 is great and the small one is ideal for normal eaters. The rest is as already written and read. Conclusion: This restaurant belongs on everyone's personal hit list.

The food and service are great, as soon as there are more than 10 people in the restaurant you can no longer understand your own words. Then it almost has a market hall atmosphere and everyone is almost shouting at each other.

I am totally amazed by the restaurant and the staff. I work in the catering industry in Germany myself and one or two people could take a lesson from that 😊 The service was very courteous but not stiff. The food of the Oberhammer. The atmosphere is very cozy and chic. Everything very clean. During one week of vacation in Switzerland 🇨🇭 we visited the WIDDER twice and were not disappointed. It is highly recommended and we will definitely come back next time on vacation. Have a great time and good business. LG Katja

I'm still raving about the delicious cordon bleu I was served there for days afterwards! And the pizzas from the next table didn't look so bad either

We regularly go to Aries for lunch at midday. The service, quality and speed is usually always good to very good. For some time now we have noticed that the lunch menu is becoming increasingly more expensive. For pasta with sauce, the lunch menu last time cost 19.90CHF including a small menu salad (only green, previously mixed) and a small dessert. Alternatively, if you look at the Cordon Bleu, which is only slightly more expensive with the same additional services, the price of the lunch menu is already very high. The price of menu pizza also rose significantly over the last year. As I said, the quality and service is still good, but for the price we will unfortunately have to look for an alternative.

From the salad to the main course to the dessert, everything was simply very good, BRAVO to the staff too👍👍

A pleasant surprise! Since our "regular pizzeria" is closed due to the holidays, we decided to visit the Widder...fortunately I can only comment! Since the menu offers a large selection, it wasn't pizza 😊 All dishes were prepared very tasty and the portions were impressive. I would also like to specifically mention the children's menu, which offers a lot of dishes and desserts for the little ones, which are also very tasty. Long story short...it's definitely not the last time we've been to Widder and we can recommend the restaurant!

Today we had dinner at Widder again. Unfortunately the Piccata Milanese was a disaster. Unfortunately I had to send it back because it was simply not edible. It's a shame because we always ate very well. The service was very friendly and also apologized. It's a shame that the chef sends out such food!!

This restaurant is just amazing. Very good food, extremely friendly. Even if I'm sometimes short after a meeting (driving from Basel, Zurich, etc. to Derendingen) because of traffic, I can call and they'll do their best to make sure I still get dinner. I don't know of any restaurant that delivers like this!!! Top, top, top! I wish you continued success. The Widder team truly deserves it!

Great restaurant =) Greetings from the kitchen in advance, fresh pizza bread is served and at the end you also get a limoncello on the house. You rarely see something like that these days, compliments!

After asking 3 times I still didn't get an ashtray. I just wanted to smoke a cigarette but couldn't!

We came for dinner, service was nice, the waitress welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately their food is cooked like they did 30 years ago, fruit decoration on meal looks weird, conservative menu which is far too long. We had to wait for main course more than 30 minutes. Seems they haven't evolved since 1980 ies...food tasted alright except "amuse bouche" which was a Tiny piece of cold pork stew with cold mashed potatoes....Bad idea

Sehr grosse gut bürgeliche Küche..nicht nur die feinen Pizzas und das zu Preisen in der Mittelklasse..Auch die Dessertkarte ist zu Empfehlen..Unter gleichen Führung ist auch das Rest.Widder in Zuchwil zu Empfehlen..nichts wie hin...es lohnt sich..Mfg RB aus SO

Das essen war sehr gut, das ambiente gut. Sehr gemütlich.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und aufmerksame Betreuung, auch das Essen war sehr gut, mittags gibt es 3 Menu mit Salat und Dessert oder eine Pizza. Preis und Portionen sind okay. Reservation ist empfehlenswert, da gut besucht.

Nettes Personal und feines Essen

Nach der Messe waren wir im Restaurant Widder zum Mittagessen. Das Essen war sehr fein, der Wein hat ebenfalls bestens gemundet, der Service war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend - einfach die Wartezeiten waren etwas lang, aber der Wintergarten war voll und angesichts des sehr feinen Essens hat sich das Warten wirklich gelohnt - wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Toll, dass es in Zuchwil wieder ein solches Restaurant gibt.

Eine super Adresse und gemütliche Location. Das Essen ist äusserst gut, sehr schön präsentiert und es gibt grosszügige Portionen. Kleine Details wie die hausgemachten Saucen und Kroketten runden das stimmige Angebot ab. Die Karte ist sehr vielfältig, jeder findet etwas Passendes. Preislich eher günstig, das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt in jeder Hinsicht.Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen anlässlich zweier Besuche innerhalb der letzten 30 Tage: die Bedienung ist zwar freundlich und zuvorkommend, verliert aber oft die Übersicht, ist nur teilweise fachlich kompetent und lässt einem oft sehr lange warten (während die Küche äusserst speditiv liefert). Sehr schade, das hinterlässt einen etwas gemischten Eindruck, obwohl sonst alles stimmen würde. Bei der Bedienung ist noch ziemlich Luft nach oben.

Feine Lokalität fuer Grosse Gruppen, ideal für unsere Feier ausgesucht gewesen. Zuforkommendes, nettes Personal.. Essen Traumhaft gsi👌 Den platz zum tanzen haben wir gut genutzt 💃vielen Dank an die Crew

Eines meiner Lieblings-Restaurants in der Nähe meines Daheims. Egal ob mit Famile, Freunden oder als Paar. Geschäftlich oder privat. Sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Hier finden alle etwas auf der Karte. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne in den Widder. Egal zu welcher Jahreszeit, uns gefällts und schmeckts.Man kann Pizzas auch bestellen, abholen und zu Hause essen. Auch eine Alternative, wenn man mal nicht kochen will.

Sehr erfreut waren wir als mitte Juni dieses Jahres das ehemalige Restaurant Noldys unter der Name Widder wieder eröffnet wurde. Die Geschäftsleitung ist der gleiche wie in Widder Derendingen. Die MenuKarte ist leider auch (fast) der gleiche wie in Derendingen, was wir schade finden. Die Preise sind relativ hoch, aber die Qualität ist gut bis sehr gut. Hier braucht es noch ein paar Pünktchen auf dem I. Bei unseren bisher zwei Besuche waren wir vom Service nicht so überzeugt, leider. Viele kleinere Fehler (Besteck/Glas vergessen, Nachbestellung vergessen.....), sehr hecktisch...Wird hoffentlich besser werden. Fazit, der Widder wird das Noldys so nicht ersetzen. Wir sind trotzdem froh das das Restaurant wieder eröffnet wurde und werden es wieder besuchen.

Immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Sehr gut.
