Ristorante & Pizzeria Vecchio Postiglione in Giornico

We have just been to this family run restaurant. We can only offer our most sincere compliments, both for the delicious dinner and for the excellent service and for your kindness and helpfulness! It was truly a very pleasant dinner in all respects! We will definitely be back!

We ate there during the week of February. The pizza was very tasty and the host family was very friendly. The atmosphere is also very welcoming with pleasant background music. We highly recommend it and the prices are absolutely affordable.

We waited 40 minutes for 3 more pizzas, I asked for a carbona but they didn't bring it to me because the place was too crowded. The friendly staff, the little varied menu. To go to the toilet there is a very narrow spiral staircase but the bathrooms are clean but there is no paper to dry your hands.

The service wasn't that motivating to come back.......the location is quite ok and the food was 3 stars but not Michelin.....next time I'll drive by.....

New management (2023). Poor service and food leaves something to be desired. When asked for a beer the waitress asks if it's normal or large, we kindly ask for the large one. He brings us a 33cl bottle of Moretti. The panaché: a bottle of Moretti with sprite. We ask if it is possible to have a Margherita pizza with Mascarpone (seeing that in the proposals there was Pizza mushrooms and mascarpone we know that mascarpone is available): we are told that no variations are possible. The Speck pizza is Brie: I didn't like it. In the bathroom: no soap to wash your hands.

Penne Matriciana 24.00 CHF, Milanese cutlet 32.00 CHF, a little exaggerated!

New management, the rude lady responds rudely to the polite request for a slice of lemon for the coke, first she said yes and then she said she didn't have it!

Pizza Diavola, good crunchy tasty dough, tomato sauce could be a little "sweeter". Luckily there is still a cozy restaurant in this beautiful mountain village. San Bernardino is always worth a visit both in summer and winter

Pizza wasn't well cooked plus they seemed frozen and not made at the moment, the service leaves something to be desired given that the waitress brought the pizzas wrong and the waiting time was really too long for two pizzas also because when we ordered there weren't any. 'was nobody for sure I won't go there again

The new management (2023) is not up to par. Prices are increased! But still, when a cook doesn't know the difference between prosciutto cotto and speck, you have to ask questions.

A plate of white penne pasta, portion per child 16 pieces... Shameful

Well, certainly a simpler restaurant with an outdoor terrace that can accommodate a few guests. We are also in San Bernardino. Even though we weren't there until 2:30 p.m. on a Sunday, we were allowed to choose from the entire menu. The menu card offers a variety of things. When it comes to pizzas you are spoiled for choice, with a total of 29 different ones on offer. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza. The portions are generous and the children's menus are particularly large. The service staff was friendly and everything went very quickly, even the boss asked if everything was OK. We also found the prices to be completely fair.

We waited forever until the waitress was finished with their lunch. Price-performance wasn't right either. Never again.

Simply good Italian restaurant. Simple, rustic good, with pizzaiolo. Tasted good !

We stopped for some ice cream. But that is not recommended. The Coupe Denmark costs Fr. 12.- The ice cream is of poor quality, the cream is actually a soy product and the chocolate sauce is really just a cheap sauce and not melted chocolate, as one might expect for the price . Only the espresso was good, which raised the result a little.

Apparently I was the first guest on the terrace. After waiting for a while, I had to check whether the restaurant was even open 🤔 The waitress was busy at the moment 🤷🏻‍♂️ The espresso was served quickly and it was good too 😃

We didn't have high expectations for our visit to Postiglione. Nevertheless, we were very positively surprised in every respect. The ingredients for the starter as well as the pizza and the cordon bleu were fresh and very tasty. We will be back.

The place is very simple and clean. The menu of the day is excellent, with fresh and seasonal products, delicious mushrooms and exquisite venison stew. Good value for money. They also make pizzas. Fast service.

Very cozy pizzeria and a polite staff. It's right next to the bus stop and you can use the toilet there without having to buy anything. Unfortunately it is quite overpriced there.

If you ever go to San Bernadino, you should stop at Postiglione to eat a Polenta. Both with fungi or cheese are wonderful. My wife and I had both, but it was so good that we ordered a second portion of the one with cheese. Excellent!!!

Pizzas were actually quite good. However, in one case they forgot the sardines and then poured them cold on them. A bit of a shame. Service was nice but nothing more.

Located in the basement of a modern bunker-like building, the restaurant exudes the atmosphere of a subway station waiting hall. And first the pizza! The base was still OK, but the topping - so much tomato sauce and not a bit of love... I had to go to Italian-speaking Switzerland to eat the first really bad pizza in Switzerland. Recommendation: give it a WIDE berth.

Polenta with roast beef unauthentic. Strange taste. Plus a small mixed menu salad 8.50sFr!!! With coffee and cola 37.50sFr. Rip off with this quality. Unfriendly service. Until last year, pizza was always great.

Huge disappointment the day before yesterday for a place that I immediately perceived as having deteriorated... other times I had enjoyed it (perhaps change of management)... The two of us consumed two tartares, two side dishes, 1 liter of mineral water and two ice creams at coffee. We were presented with a bill of €94.50! Only after a request for a receipt and an increasingly heated discussion, due to a lack of clarity on the costs of the dishes, were 40 Swiss francs returned to us, to silence us and not attract the attention of other customers! All in all: heist with a happy ending!

The big boss should change jobs or go to school to learn how to greet and smile. Sin!

Truly disgusting. If you happen to go, I recommend keeping the kitchen in sight... I saw the chef touching his private parts several times while preparing pizzas or dishes, not to mention the hair that my wife found in their minesteone. The staff should be reevaluated. Greetings
