One of the best pizzas I've eaten in a long time.

Located up one floor from the street, this beautiful Italian restaurant will make anyone happy. I had the Margarita pizza, and it was one of the best ones I’ve ever had, rivaling many of my favorite ones at home. The service was quick, food was worth the price, and just a good time overall.

I liked coming here, nice waiters and simple restaurant, but this time, the 2cl grappa at 13.- stayed in my way. I know Bern is expensive but don't mess around. We put 2 cl 37 times in a bottle (75cl, what, 40-50 francs?), right? So here the bottle yields 37x13=481.-(-40 or 50). Wow the benefit! ;(

Great atmosphere and lovely pizzas! They have vegan mozzarella and meat alternatives that taste pretty good. It’s a bit disappointing how the vegan ingredients increase the price of the pizzas, when in reality you usually swap out salmon (which is expensive) for vegan salmon (shouldn’t cost more…). Otherwise the staff is very friendly, their bruschetta is tasty, and they have delicious espresso as well.

Friendly lunch place with authentic food. Slightly too much salt in the pizza flour which made the whole lunch a but salty. But the Pizza Menu for lunch is a great value and the portions are well enough to feed you through a day.

The pizza is really delicious. I paid part of the cost with quite a bit of coins and the response was friendly. However, I was slightly dissatisfied that I requested to sit in the seat I wanted among the empty seats, but was not able to do so.

From the service to the ambience to the food, everything was top!

Small but nice restaurant in the city center 😊 The food is very tasty and the atmosphere is pleasant. When the restaurant is full, the service sometimes seems overwhelmed.

Suitable for people who are hungry for Italian food. Recommend this menu: Penne all'arrabiata. The taste is similar to sour soup, not greasy, very delicious.

December 9, 2023, is the Christmas Market and there are a lot of people, but that does not excuse the behavior of the service manager who was odious, after waiting a long time we asked kindly if he hadn't forgotten our bottle of wine, he advised us to go to McDonald's if we were in a hurry, and when it arrived it didn't match the menu, unfortunately that didn't work out afterwards, expensive and tasteless food, unfriendly staff. I strongly advise against this establishment.

The food was very good, but it was very expensive. I went to eat last night on November 10, 23. I asked for a mixed salad and carbonara pasta. When I started eating I found a maggot in my salad I immediately called the waitress who wanted to exchange but I said no. The room manager came to apologize. Then I waited for 40 minutes for the rest of my meal and for a final bill without a gift or gesture on the bill I found it very scary....

I met Life Pizza in Bern. It was the best pizza I've ever had in my life, with the most moist pizza and the freshest taste while retaining the original taste of the ingredients. I was even more satisfied with the pizza than the pizza I ate in Italy, which I visited next. I stopped by this place while passing by without any expectations, but the pasta was really delicious, with really big shrimp and firm noodles, and the tomato sauce and olive oil had a deep flavor. In terms of service, it was a bit disappointing that communication was not smooth. I said I wouldn't drink water if it was paid, but they just poured it and took the money. In terms of atmosphere and taste, it was an impeccable meal!

Lasagna too salty . You cannot eat it and made us pay for it even though we couldn't eat it ! Bad service

We visited Pomodoro for the first time today and were completely satisfied. From the pizza to the dessert: everything was fresh and delicious. The service is very friendly and even gave us a limoncello at the end. This is true customer focus. We would be happy to come back. Warm greetings from Germany.

Fairly standard Italian fare. Outdoors, in my case under archway of covered walkway. Weather was warm!!

Just 🔨 what's going on here. From the quality of the fresh food (be it pizza, pasta or even meat!) to the charming service to the good location, including good shady outdoor seating. And there is always something going on in Neuengasse.

Nice restaurant with a terrace, friendly service, good for simply watching Bern's evening life. Pasta was fine, pizza ok. Prices "normal". We didn't particularly like the wine.

Nice raviolli with ricotta and spinach. Size of portion is also very good. Desert was really tasty. Staff was very helpful and kind. Went there with friwnds for a quick lunch. Atmosphere was nice and comfortable. It can be a little crowdy and noisy if you want a more private atmosphere.

We had lunch with dessert. Tiramisu was okay but not for 5☆ I had very delicious Lasagne Emiliana Roma, and my friend were satisfied with Bolognese and Penne with spinach&ricota. The restorant is in the centre of Bern and close to Banhof. I really liked the interior, very cozy place.

I ate there this evening and was very happy with the food and service. My (self-selected) menu (à la carte): - Nut salad with egg, fried bacon and croutons - Scaloppini al Limone - Tirami Su and espresso The food was excellent, the service was friendly. The lighting in the restaurant was a bit dim, so I had to use my cell phone flashlight to look at the menu. The wine list wasn't exactly extensive, but contained a few good items. I was quite satisfied with the Oeil-de-Perdeix (rosé served by the glass, price CHF 25/5 dl) that I chose. The waiter brought the desired toothpick and the requested two additional deciliters of wine fairly quickly. At the end - when I asked for the bill - I was offered a (good) grappa on the house. My overall impression: a good, worthwhile address. The menu covers a relatively wide range and the cuisine is good. The pizzas at the neighboring table looked delicious and you can also order half a pizza. The prices are not exactly cheap, but normal for this central location in Bern. There are also interestingly priced menus. They really make an effort to ensure that guests come back. Closed on Sundays.

Because it is opposite our hotel, we said let's go to the Pomodoro pizzeria to eat an Italian pizza in Switzerland The atmosphere was very pleasant, the pizza excellent (I chose a pizza with prosciutto and funghi), I drank a glass of wine. The staff was very polite, very kind and with a smile on their faces. We felt very good. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!

Insalata Verde with Italian sauce was fresh and tasty with small rolls. I ordered pizza Quattro Formaggi, it was perfectly prepared. By the way, the pizza knife was sharpened and the pizza was very easy to cut. Staff in the evening with fewer people on Monday were very friendly and attentive. Addendum: The Coupe Baileys only had a little sauce.

Ordered Insalata Caprese and Penne. The main course isn't even fully finished yet. At lunchtime you can send more quickly, but I would like to have more time in the evening. I wanted to order wine but the thirst got stuck in my throat

Had a pizza with a friend for lunch today. Just before I finish eating, I see a MADE on my plate 🤢🤢🤮 I reported it to the waiter, he just said that it could happen and that it might have come from my friend's seafood pizza. I had to show him a picture so that he would take it seriously, but unfortunately he kept saying it could happen and looked for excuses. Bottom drawer disgusting!! Never again.! The health department has been informed!

Frankly rude manager, who obviously doesn't even bother to say a complete sentence. Once installed, I was yelled at “what do you want, just water?” So I replied that I would like to have the drinks menu. After receiving the card I was asked what I wanted, really every minute in a very insistent manner, even though the terrace was not even full. Once the drink was served, I was asked several times if I had finished and if I wanted to pay... So I paid even though I hadn't finished yet... Then I was clearly told made it clear that I had to hurry to leave when there were still more than half of the places free. Last detail that I really didn't appreciate, my handbag was placed on the floor, the waiter took the liberty of taking it without my permission and putting it behind me...

Service was a disaster. Waited 20 minutes to drink. And another 20 minutes for the glass. Luckily we didn't order anything to eat, otherwise I would have taken root.

The pennes with the veal was a typical Italian plate. The green salad could be better, the tiramisu though was exceptional.

Pizzas are excellent! Thin, crusty and light with the perfect amount of toppings. One of the best in Bern. The only negative is slow service, but otherwise good.

Hot cola at lunchtime, ice cubes after 10 minutes, salmon menu cold and fish not cooked through, salad dressing like from the discount store, pizza dough not worthy of the name. *. Chair was taken away from us even though the terrace was only 70% occupied with flimsy reasons. It's a shame, service would otherwise be good.

While visiting the capital a few weeks ago, we took a short break in this ristorante. It was very busy, the waiters were quick and hardworking. Very friendly hosts. Unfortunately I didn't have time to eat, but the people around me all looked very happy.
