If you come to Ticino or Italy to make pizzas like this that last 1 day..... Pizza Findus? It's a shame because the other time I ate à la carte and it was good.... forget about the pizzeria.... it's not your job!!! Too expensive for the pizzeria

The Waldeck in Ostermundigen is a safe place where you know that the cuisine is good, very good even. Never disappointed.

I can't recommend the pizza! Unfortunately, I ate probably the worst pizza today. As if I had eaten a store-bought frozen pizza. The service was okay, but the guests could be a little friendlier.

Had dinner today. After a funeral. No greeting from the staff. And no farewell from the staff either. The service was very annoyed. There was bread with the meat plate. Unfortunately there wasn't enough. We had to keep asking. I found myself a burden anyway. As a guest in this restaurant. Unfriendly service.

The six of us spent a lovely evening here. The restaurant is a bit old, which didn't bother us much because of the services provided. The menu is very diverse and the food was very good and always on time. The wine list is very good, ranging from cheap to expensive wines. The waitress was probably from the East somewhere, she spoke German very well, was very friendly and competent. We will come back

Were there yesterday. The pizza is a joke, any frozen pizza is better. Also very small and strange dough. We complained to the service employee, but she wasn't interested at all. Cordon bleu was ok. When leaving the restaurant, not a word of goodbye from the staff. Never again, a huge disappointment.

I have never eaten such a bad pizza (vegetable pizza). The restaurant was a total failure.

We were very welcome for a family event on Sunday lunchtime. The food is traditional and very good. The wine list is very diverse. The service is very friendly and professional. We will be back.

We had ordered cordon bleu and they were ok. The salad was very good but there was too much sauce. Unfortunately our plates were also cold, so we gave the food back. Afterwards our food came back on hot plates, unfortunately they were P. fries only hard!! What a shame!

It was once known for pizzas, but apparently that's no longer the case. What I had yesterday looked somewhat like a pizza, but the dough was dry and cakey. The coating is very oily and too much of a good thing. The cheese was... Well.

We spent a very nice evening with a great dinner. The food was excellent and very nicely prepared. The service was very friendly and quick. The portions served were very generous. The various cultural events give the restaurant an additional upgrade. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone for good food and events.

Food was ok and solid. The ambience is somehow Swiss, you could do more but “simple” is enough. The waitress was a bit annoyed at first but then calmed down a bit.

The food was quite okay. Unfortunately, the bread that was served with the salad was a bit hard. It was very comfortable on the terrace and the portion size was good, so we were only able to finish the meal. Price-performance is right.

The world's best pizzas are undoubtedly available in this restaurant! No matter how far you go or how far you look for something equivalent, you won't find it. The pizzas here are absolutely unique, in no way is there anything like it anywhere else.

Service, if you should call it that, was very unfriendly. All 3 female waitresses were unacceptable... SORRY The food, we had pizza, if you can call it that, wasn't really ours. Not recommendable.. We don't go to Waldeck anymore, it's a shame but the kitchen and service have to change?

I walked into a restaurant to get something to eat, but the pizza was terrible and the waitress's face when asked something seemed like I owed her something. Please be a little kinder.

Food and service great. Host leaves a lot to be desired. No croissants on Sunday morning. The answer was 5 minutes from here there is a bakery. Does the landlord have no time to get something? We come to eat a lot. Kitchen, staff and prices look good. Does the innkeeper not earn enough on coffee and croissants? Wait for an answer. Don't believe it though!

I used to be very happy with the Waldeck restaurant, but when I went there for lunch today I was very disappointed. The portions were rather small and there may have been a rotten strawberry in my salad bowl, but there was also a rotten strawberry in the dessert and the ice cream formed crystalline, which means that it partially thawed and then froze again. When I pointed this out to the service person, they just said, “Don’t you want a strawberry or something?” It could have been a little friendlier. I won't come anymore!

Very easy to reach. Well-established restaurant with a very large and varied selection of fine dishes. Good wine selection. Nice and prompt staff. The innkeeper welcomes the guests. You are very welcome here.

Yesterday (Sunday evening) we (my partner and I) were in the Waldeck restaurant at around 8:45 p.m. I greeted the waitress. She then hastily returned the greeting as she passed by and with a rude undertone. We were left standing in the entrance. After a while she came over. When asked for a table for two for dinner, she reluctantly and also rudely replied that there was only pizza left. The restaurant's website expressly states the following: "We have warm food continuously from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m." This confused us and the disparaging treatment affected us deeply. A restaurant should deliver the service promised on the menu at certain times. In addition, customers should be treated with respect and kindness. We would like to be treated in an appreciative manner, at least at eye level... The waitress had few guests in the restaurant at the time (Sunday evening).

The food was good. I had a spaghetti arabiata. The waiter was funny, but he had a very direct, specific sense of humor.

The food is outstanding! In terms of price/performance, it's like that. Simple, relatively large neighborhood pub.

The worst esperience in my life,nobody was speaking english...the owner came to my son and his wife and tell them very nervous that we should take a fix menu... 10 people eating the same think... We book the table one month ago and we ask even difrent choises for the menu,we tell them we have a vegan and a lactose free with us.... they even let us wait tooo muchh....

Excellent, hearty cuisine. Just the room is a little succinct and old-fashioned.

For a starter I had a Nüssler salad with egg. The main course was a beef entrecote with a Bernaise sauce and a side of fries. For dessert I had a chocolate mousse. I was more than happy with the food. It was tasty, hot and beautifully presented. The only small negative point is that the entrecote was served sliced, I prefer it in one piece. In any case, the taste didn't suffer. The service was courteous, friendly and quick. Tip top keep it up. All in all, I went home happy after a lovely evening. Keep it up

Always open, there is quick service, great home-style cooking, fair prices and a host who is always on site. We eat there once or twice a week and have never been disappointed.

Simple restaurant. Staff average. The restaurant is in urgent need of renovation. It's ok to have a quick drink and meet colleagues. Wheelchair accessible except for the toilet.

Cool concept with 6 different lunch menus. There is always something for everyone. (Of course there is also À la carte) The service was very friendly and very prompt! The infrastructure in the restaurant is a bit old, but otherwise everything is perfect!

Old-fashioned The interior is rather old-fashioned, you don't have to like the food, anything special. It is clean inside and out. But it doesn't suit my taste.

Friendly staff, very good cuisine and wines, good parking facilities - own rest. Parking spaces. Very easy to reach also by public transport. Bus station right in front of the restaurant. I have enjoyed visiting it for years and can only recommend it.

I've been a guest here for years, the service is always great and we feel very comfortable. The pizzas are absolutely legendary, they are different from the regular ones, are rather cheesy and therefore give a lot. I've never been able to eat anything like this anywhere else. Also delicious: the fitness plate is sensational!

There you can get the best pizza in all of Bern. Cozy atmosphere, nice service. Simply good food. Highly recommended.

Was there over lunch. Several menus to choose from. The potato soup was good, seemed a bit baggy but it can also be deceiving. The meatloaf was a little too al dente, the pomm chips were good. The service was friendly and accommodating, hence 4*
