The male server overheard it was my birthday, immediately wished me and went the extra mile to surprise me at the end of our meal with a generous platter of ice creams and cakes for two pax, which could feed more people. The sauce for veal liver with rösti was a bit too salty and the rösti was literally 'drowned' in the sauce - rösti should be crispy! But the worst thing was the Saltimbocca, or rather, salt imbocca. It was so oversalted that I could only eat some of it with lots of polenta on the side. When the waitress came after a long time to ask if everything was OK, the justification was that this had never happened in the 3 years she had been working there... which really didn't help me. The caprese and scampi starters were great.
