For many, many years I have often visited Salvatore's pizzeria at lunchtime. A very nice local with delicious dishes/lunch menus. Please keep it up, muchas gracias.

Nothing has changed in this restaurant for years, from the staff to the furnishings. Cash payment only - if you know it's ok and don't stick the accepted cards on the door. We were a group of 7 people. Otherwise not many other guests. We were asked for drinks exactly once - after that no one was interested anymore. We wouldn't have liked to have had coffee or dessert either. But somehow you lose interest. The food was okay so far. Mixed salad not really mixed though. Bought sauce. I used to go there often - now I know why I won't go there anymore. There are better restaurants in Herisau.

Good value for money. Family and simple. Very well placed.

Six of us came here during the week and felt very comfortable. We had a super delicious starter and then spoiled our palate with 4 different culinary highlights. The 4 pizzas were excellent. We chose 4 very different ones. Classic, with a twist, from the garden, and a cheese. Afterwards, we had another leisurely drink of wine with some coffee. Everyone in the group got the “Schöggeli”. I have to say the evening was very entertaining and the food was perfect. Is very good to recommend. Come by and let yourself be pampered by the ambience and fine cuisine.

Food was good… Very unfriendly boss, gives pat answers. Older people have to go to the ATM because paying by card is always a problem and has been for years. He doesn't want change either. It's a shame when the boss is the deciding factor why you don't want to go there anymore.

Food was good but staff was very unfriendly. We had to pack up the leftover food that we wanted to take with us after the waiter threw it on the table for us. When we wanted to pay with the card, we had to listen to the two waiters complaining. As a guest you feel very uncomfortable. We will not visit the restaurant again. There are plenty of good Italian restaurants in the area.

I called... maybe it was a mistake?... But no... it was pointed out to me that you had to do the mise en place first, otherwise you would be stressed... SORRY... I won't try again... I don't think that's possible... there I'd rather go somewhere else where the guest is valued...I won't advertise either.

The ravioli with tomato cream sauce was so good. Highly recommended . Price-performance ratio is also great. Good prices.
