Terrible service from the waitress, I was there the other evening with some friends.

The room was clean and welcoming. The towels and sheets smelled good. The particular place is really close to Piazza Grande. Unfortunately we did not have a pleasant welcome from the staff. We addressed ourselves with kindness but it was not reciprocated, never mind!

Inhospitable service from the bartenders (Jasmine) they no longer serve half an hour before closing and the price of the beers is truly exaggerated

A now already historic place, at the crossroads between Piazza Grande, Piazza Castello and the southern entrance of the Cotta Vecchia. It contains within it a courtyard under the castle walls, absolutely worth visiting. Excellent choices of draft and bottled beer, a real brewery.

The rooms are clean. The hotel is located in the center, close to the embankment. Stayed with family for one night.

We booked a room for one night. This has a double bed, a table and a chair. The bathroom is very modern and clean. However, there is no TV, but there is a balcony. The bar and pedestrian zone are on the ground floor. Luckily there is a fan in the room; This ensured that you could endure the night with the window closed and earplugs. But you can't say much negative for the price of the night. The bar offers a variety of beers from many countries and also offers small snacks.

We were both guests in the bar and in a room above the bar: both were great!! Room: was spacious with a balcony and separate shower/toilet, extremely clean and no noise at night once the bar was closed Bar: excellent menu of beers & drinks, cool location with great guests. Location: centrally on the edge of the old town, it couldn't be better.

Highly recommended!!! It is in the center of Locarno... starting point for visiting all of Switzerland. The hotel and rooms are spotless. It's all very welcoming. A peculiarity.....the wall leading to the rooms is made with beer caps and is gorgeous...you can see it in the photos!!!

Great location, very friendly staff. Drinks are also very tasty. It was very warm in our room, the bathroom outside the room with personal access was small. It was ok for us to see the city cheaply, so everything was fine. I can only recommend.

I liked the room, it is beautiful, there is a balcony, but it is poorly cleaned. First, we were given the key to one room, we took our things there and went to park the car. When we returned, they told us that they had made a mistake and our number was different, and they moved our things themselves! But entering the room and touching things without our permission is not right!!! It was necessary to wait for us, then explain and transfer! It was very unpleasant.. It was still very loud at night, music was playing in the center until around 3 am and people were having a good time, which kept us awake.

We were very happy with the hostess (German is not possible at all, English is a bit), the location is great (1 minute to Piazza Grande), but the room had no A/C (only a fan) and it was very loud at night ( Bar and very busy street below). Overall we were very satisfied

Great bar with a comfortably furnished interior. Very extensive beer menu with beers from all over the world. Cool music, mostly young and relaxed audience. The service took a little long on the second visit to realize that we wanted to pay. The bar is very centrally located directly above the Piazza Grande. Overall recommended.

The location of the Pardo Bar, right at the western end of Piazza Grande, is very good. The nightlive takes place directly in front of the house. However, in high season it could be a little louder at night. The rooms are newly renovated and clean but relatively simple and rustic. If you are looking for a cheap and central place to stay overnight, the Pardo Bar is the right place for you. Check-in takes place at the bar, check-out only involves returning the keys to the mailbox. Service therefore only takes place during the bar's opening hours. In the room there was only a clothes rail instead of a closet - there would have been more than enough space. Two folding chairs are also missing on the balcony with a view of the pretty old town. All in all, I can recommend the Pardo Bar as a place to stay overnight.

Fantastic selection of beers. Also other drinks. Nice service. Next door Teak eway, who brings the food to the bar and serves it. Fine Ticino specialties. (The brassato tastes fantastic). Rooms are also rented.

Great place to stay in Locarno on a budget. Central location, clean and cozy. Lively bar open up to 2am (so uncommon in CH). Rooms spread over 3 floors above the bar, for a quieter night, ask for rooms 10 or 11 (on 3rd floor).

The cheapest room far and wide, we only paid €50. It was equipped with private bathroom and air conditioning. There is no TV. It was clean too. All restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

When I arrived at the bar, I sat outside since there was no room. Even though the waitress looked at us and saw us, she avoided going out for the order. TERRIBLE cocktail, 13 francs in the toilet (for being polite).

Die Bedienung war extrem unfreundlich und war offensichtlich unmotiviert. Die Bierauswahl wäre gut, jedoch waren viele Biere nicht erhältlich. Auch das Essen, welches im Menü augelistet ist, war nicht erhältlich. Warum die Bar auf jeden Tisch ein Menü platziert, von dem dann die Hälfte nicht erhältlich ist, ist mir ein Rätsel.

Serves an enormous range of beers including local craft beers on tap.It has an open fireplace too but the barmaid couldn't get a fire going.Enjoyed the excellent Mithra red ale from Officina della Birra in Bioggio.They also stock Broken City beers from Lugano and Rud Bir from Gordola.

Locarno macht generell nicht den Eindruck, als würde dort ein besonders aktives Nachtleben vorhanden sein. Die Pardo Bar hebt sich hiervon jedoch erfreulich ab. Die Einrichtung ist eher rustikal und das durchschnittliche Publikum eher jung (wir hatten den Verdacht, dass das lokale Gymnasium abends geschlossen diese Bar aufsucht ;-) ) Angeboten wird eine grosse Auswahl an internationalen, nationalen und lokalen Bieren (besonders empfehlen kann ich hierbei Produkte der Brauereien "Birrificio San Martino" und "Officina della Birra"), ferner finden sich auch diverse Cocktails auf der Getränkekarte.Das Personal habe ich als durchaus freundlich erlebt, auf unseren Wunsch hin wurde sogar ein Fussballspiel ausgestrahlt.Nebst dem Innenraum und der Terasse kann man seine Getränke auch im stimmungsvollen Innenhof einnehmen, allerdings wird dieser Bereich nicht bedient, so dass man bei Bedarf nach Nachschub selbst den Weg zur Bar antreten muss ;-)

Par où commencer... dois-je mentionner en premier lieu l'accueil exécrable, l'atrocité qu'ils appellent cocktails ou l'ambiance "glauque" qui régnait...Allons dans l'ordre; l'accueil en premier lieu un bar plutôt sympa et simple mais en fait il était très compliqué de commander et encore plus de payer... Puis les "cocktails" car il est vrai que de réaliser un moscow mule est d'une difficulté maximale, et encore la réalisation était, ou plus tôt n'était pas. Et pour l'ambiance elle était portée par là sympathie du personnel.

Es ist ein schöner Ort, um sich mit Freunden zu treffen und einen Cocktail oder ein Bier zu trinken. Verschiedene belgische Biere sind für 7 - 8 Franken erhältlich. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass Raucher- und Nichtraucherbereiche nicht wie überall in Locarno im Freien getrennt sind.

Il Pardo Bar, o più semplicemente Pardo per quelli del luogo, non è più solo un bar, ma è un'istituzione della vita serale Locarnese. Io avviso già che questa recensione sarà pesantemente influenzata da tutte le serate fantastiche che ho passato in quella adorabile catapecchia, che all'apparenza potrebbe sembrare scialba e maltenuta ma che ha una cura per i dettagli e per la clientela invidiabili; chiaramente non ho mai soggiornato nel posto, quindi mi limiterò a parlare del bar. Il posto, come dicevo, ha un'apparenza transandata ma è quello che gli conferisce un fascino particolare; sempre stracolmo di giovani e qualche turista occasionale, il Pardo è un posto dove ci si ritrova per chiacchierare e bere una birra, seduti all'interno su un tavolo rialzato oppure nella coorte interna , con tanto di balconcino e scale che portano ai piani bassi. Il posto è molto vivace, da persona che ci è stata tante volte si possono sempre trovare facce familiari! Le birre poi, che dire, sono tantissime! Con una particolare attenzione alla produzione ticinese (assolutamente da provare), il Pardo si assicura un posto speciale per gli amanti della birra, senza poi disdegnare delle varietà europee o anche ben al di là dell'oceano atlantico! Insomma, può essere un posto visto con diffidenza da chi arriva da fuori ma è molto caro ai giovani del posto e rappresenta un piccolo ecosistema fatto di ragazzi, ragazze, liceali, apprendisti, lavoratori e turisti che ri riuniscono per fare baldoria e scambiare qualche chiacchiera in compagnia.

Wir haben die Bar am frühen Abend besucht. All zu viel war noch nicht los, aber wir wollten nach dem Abendessen uns noch etwas wohin setzen und nicht gleich wieder ins Hotelzimmer verschwinden. Eigentlich wollten wir zuerst im Hinterhof in den Garten uns hinsetzen, aber das Personal scheint diesen Bereich komplett zu ignorieren, generell war die Bar nur von einer Person bedient worden, die, als wir dann wieder nach oben kamen vom Garten, lieber mit Gästen redete als zu schauen ob neue Kundschaft da war. Wir hatten uns dann an einen Tisch gesetzt, den sie nicht mehr übersehen konnte. Wir schauten uns die wirklich sehr grosse Karte an Biersorten aus, wobei die erste Wahl leider nicht mehr an Lager war und ich daher auf ein anderes Bier umsteigen musste. Ich hatte mich dann für ein lokales Bier entschieden, ebenso meine Freundin. Ihre Mutter hatte sich dann ein Aperitiv gegönnt. Auch wenn draussen "Wein" angegeben ist am Gebäude, sah die Weinkarte eher spärrlich aus und da gibt es einige Restaurants die eine grössere Karte haben. Der Tisch an dem wir sassen, war etwas klebrig und wurde nicht sauber geputzt, generell sah die Bar nicht gerade so aus, als würde hier regelmässig, bevor die Bar am nächsten Tag wieder aufmacht, sauber gemacht werden auf den Tischen.Bezahlen mussten wir nicht direkt, was vielleicht daran lag das nicht all zu viel los war. Wir konnten daher Problemlos beim gehen bezahlen. Daher wenn man seltene Biersorten ausprobieren möchte, lohnt sich dieser Ort sicher, aber sonst denke ich gibt es sicher bessere alternativen in Locarno.

Nulla da dire per quanto riguarda il locale, che è decisamente molto interessante e curato, ma un personale più cortese sarebbe certamente gradito.Quando si fa una domanda gentilmente, ci si aspetterebbe di avere una risposta altrettanto gentile, ma si è verificato esattamente l’opposto, tanto che abbiamo preferito andarcene.

Durch Zufall auf einen Absacker in diese Bar „gestolpert“ & für ok befunden! Gemütlich, gemischtes Publikum, und eine ordentliche Auswahl an internationalen Bieren! Bedauerlicherweise auch hier die Servicekraft nur mit minimalen Deutsch & Englischkenntnissen..Auch wurde für mein eigentlich verlangtes American Ale, ein anderes gebracht - das ursprünglich bestellte schien ausverkauft zu sein, mir wurde einfach ohne Fragen ein anderes hingestellt - sehr schade so vor vollendete Tatsachen gesetzt zu werden :( Gegen späteren Abend wurde es dann auch zunehmend voller, dennoch mit guter Athmosphäre abseits der Touristischen Pfade! Sogar mein eher ungewöhnlicher Biergeschmack wurde hier befriedigt. Die Auswahl ist echt grandios. Im Sommer hat es schön gemütliche Aussensitzplätze. Es hat auch ein gute Auswahl an Cocktail, aber leider wurden diese von der einzigen Angestellten, welche recht angespannt war, lieblos zubereitet. Geschmacklich waren diese Getränke entsprechend durchschnittlich bis sogar schlecht. Bier ja, Cocktail nein.

Grundsätzlich eine gemütliche bar! Das personal ist jedoch super unfreundlich! Sie schliessen um 2 uhr und haben uns um 1:45 die vollen biere abgeräumt und dies danach wehement verneint! Und zuvor waren sie auch überhaupt nicht freundlich oder willkommend... Unglaubliche frechheit! Für ein nächstes mal in locarno kann ich alles andere empfehlen, aber sicherlich nicht diese bar!

Diese Bar hat eine große Auswahl an Craft Beer. Die Terrasse ist schön, die Atmosphäre ist gut und das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider waren einige der Biere auf der Speisekarte ausverkauft und ich vermisste irgendwie Mitarbeiter, die professionelle Beratung zum aktuellen Angebot geben konnten. Wie auch immer, wenn Sie kein Neuling sind, um Bier zu brauen, werden Sie sicherlich etwas Schönes finden und den Abend an diesem Ort genießen. Nebenbei haben sie auch eine gute Auswahl an Cocktails und Wein.

Un ottimo bar un po' alla buona, servizio buono e grande varietà di birre (veramente da ogni luogo) ma anche di cocktail. Il bello di questo bar è appunto l'atmosfera famigliare che si sente e si prova entrandovi chiacchierando con i baristi o con la gente che vi si trova al suo interno. Terrazza esterna (dietro) munita di tavolo da beer pong e biliardo, all'interno c'é anche una postazione per le freccette, un tavolo per il biliardino e un televisore per le partite (soprattutto hockey). Non è un bar elegante ma è molto bello e caratteristico. Dispone anche di un servizio per il pranzo e di un paio di camere a basso prezzo.

Avec une belle chaleur, je me suis arrêté à prendre une eau minérale, bien que le serveur était sympa...je suis scandalisé par le prix d'une eau gazeuse...dans une bouteille en plastique, que (d'après moi est acheté dans le commerce en Italie) donc 6 bouteilles pour plus où moins 1frs50!!! Le verre est en plastique aussi et bien usée et je paye frs 4 !Non non et non je ne suis pas satisfaite

Quel choix de bières! un bar super sympa à tout moment de la journée.propose une excellent choix de bières et d'alcool de marron...et que dire de la play list? juste excellente pour moi et mes enfants: Rock'n Roll!

Un superbe et gigantesque choix de bières internationales et régionales, un accueil très chaleureux avec un serveur qui fait l'effort de parler français et de nous conseiller dans le choix de nos boissons. Sans parler de la musique excellente dans le style classic rock. A conseiller au amateurs de bonnes bières et pour un bon moment de détente !

Im Vergleich zu anderen Cafés und Bars in der Gegend ist die Prado Bar viel zu teuer. Wir gingen zu einem Aperitivo, wo man normalerweise ein paar Nippel mit dem Getränk bekommt, aber selbst zu diesem Preis bekommt man nichts und der Service war nicht wirklich freundlich. Sie wären besser dran auf der Piazza Grande, wo sie - obwohl im Herzen von Locarno und damit wesentlich touristischer - billiger, freundlicher und authentischer ist

besuchte Pardo Bar für Apero - Lage in der Nähe von Piazza Grande mit Terrasse. Sehr teure Preise im Vergleich zu anderen Standorten in diesem Bereich, unfreundlicher Service, mussten direkt nach dem Empfang der Getränke bezahlt werden. Mein Hugo hatte kein Eis und nur ein paar kleine Scheiben Zitrone und Minze.

Situato al centro di Locarno , struttura piacevole e camere al 3° piano con 1 balconcino in comune con ottima vista.Ho soggiornato 3 gioni e non mi sn mai state cambiare gli asciugamani e in "dotazione" avevamo 2 mezzi rotoli di carta ( che per il 3° giorno eravamo sprovvisti e non sapevamo come fare ).

Niente di straordinario né nel cibo né nel servizio, ma resta la gradevole sensazione di essere a un passo da Piazza Grande e di potersela cavare con un pranzo veloce e una spesa contenuta. Wi-fi gratis.

C'est un triple lieu assez sympa.Le choix de bière est impressionnant ainsi que les cocktails mais ces derniers sont servis dans des verres en plastique !!! et c'est très cher !! Le service est militaire, un sourire serait bien venu. Il est très bien placé, il y a toujours du monde.

Die Pardobar hat eine hervorragende Bierauswahl, die kaum Wünsche offen lässt. Das Ambiente ist rustikal und eher auf Jugendliche zugeschnitten. Der Service bei unseren Aufenthalten war durchwachsen, manchmal hatte man das Gefühl zu stören, aber es gibt Internet, WLan und die Möglichkeit die Smartphones kostenlos zu laden. Dies ist schon immerhin ein guter Grund die Pardobar zu besuchen

Sono stato in questo bar e lo conosco molto bene. La mia recensione non serve per danneggiare il locale ma serve per aiutare il proprietario a capire cosa non va. L arredo davvero da ristrutturare completamente, pulizia scarsa, personale vestito in modo poco professionale e non rispecchia assolutamente la qualità e la professionalità di un cameriere. In vestiti da tempo libero ci potete andare quando non lavorate ma un cameriere deve vestire pantaloni neri e camicia bianca e scarpe nere come vuole la legge della ristorazione. La birra alla spina e pessima e il posto secondo me ha molte possibilità ma per il memento usa il 30% delle possibilità del potenziale che ha. Scusate ma i camerieri non possono vestire al lavoro con vestiti con i quali si va a passeggio e tempo libero: assurdo. Spero vi aiuti queste recensione a migliorare i vostri problemi per diventare un ottimo bar a Locarno

Locale alla mano, ma graziosa la posizione.. Abbiamo mangiato delle focaccine, il pane è leggero e gli ingredienti di qualità discreta.

Aspect extérieur sympa, bon choix de vins et bières, ambiance authentique et ...serveuse désagréable et comme absente, ne nettoie les tables que sur demande et visiblement avec effort...le vin choisi est malheureusement réellement mauvais, mauvaise pioche ! Un conseil évitez !
