I’m a terrible photographer. What you should take away from this is I received an excellent Ribero del Douro, got a cute bonus snack (who doesn’t love a surprise amuse-bouche), my fillet was exceptional and the butter potatoes had a lovely crisp. The staff are all sooo lovely. A pleasure to eat here as a solo diner. If you’re in your Zurich airport hotel contemplating a sorry-looking microwave, venture out it’ll be worth it 😃

There was even delicious pizza bread with the Carpiacco!

Super friendly staff, the wine from the bottle in the ice cooler was always refilled when the glass was empty. The food was very tasty, including the veal cordon bleu: tender, lots of cheese, crispy crust… I can highly recommend the restaurant. A tip: make a reservation beforehand because the restaurant is busy.

Very nice restaurant. Good wine list and also good menu with plenty of choice. Prices from pizza to cheap to meat to expensive and also worth the price. The managing director knows the business and also the customers and does everything very well. Worth a visit... and still something is missing to get to the top points... maybe it has to do with rather high prices, openness and friendliness... Whether I'll come back... probably not.

Its my first time to be in switzerland for a visit. I was in a many restaurants but this restaurant was the best one. The service, atmosphere and the food was just perfekt.

Great service and delicious food

A really wonderful restaurant with a great team. We celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and everything was absolutely outstanding and high quality. We were able to organize the decoration ourselves without any problems. The service was great and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I can only recommend the Romantica restaurant. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed it, a big compliment to the chef and the staff.

A lovely Restaurant in Rümlang. The atmosphere is cozy and fancy. The decoration inside is clean and chic. The service was amazing, all very friendly, and seemed happy to work there. The food was fresh, presented gorgeously, and tasted incredibly delicious. The Risotto stood out to me. Delicious. There are parking spaces in the garage underneath. Pricing was very fair. Would definitely enjoy another evening here. 10/10.

Price/performance is not right in my opinion. The food was still ok, but such high prices can be found in the city of Zurich. In addition, the portions were rather small and the atmosphere was nothing special. We won't go a second time. I've never experienced that you can get a Züri-Gschetlets for 50 Stutz without a side dish. The side dish of hash browns costs extra again - ridiculous, sorry

From the moment we entered until we left, we were welcomed by a team that was not only professional but also incredibly warm. The atmosphere in the restaurant was so thoughtful and romantic that it was the perfect backdrop for an evening full of important business discussions. The dining experience itself was simply outstanding. Each course was a masterful creation that appealed not only to the taste buds but also to the senses. The quality of the ingredients and the presentation of the dishes were of the highest standard. Every bite was a revelation and reflected the dedication and talent of the kitchen team. The service also deserves the highest praise. The staff was attentive, discreet and at the same time extremely friendly. What was particularly impressive was the staff's knowledge of the menu and wine recommendations. Every question was answered competently and enthusiastically, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The recommended wine pairing was a perfect complement to the exquisite dishes. The selection was varied and harmonized perfectly with the different flavors that we were able to enjoy. Overall, I can fully recommend Restaurant Romantica, be it for a business lunch, a romantic date or just to treat yourself to an unforgettable culinary experience. This evening will remain in our memories for a long time and we are already looking forward to the next time! The only downside is that I didn't take any photos of our food, as the presentation of the food on the plate also deserves high praise. I'll definitely do that next time. A huge thank you to the entire team at Restaurant Romantica for an evening that exceeded our expectations!

We met a couple of friends for dinner on a Friday evening in the Romantica restaurant. The restaurant was full to the last seat. Although there was a larger group at the next table, the noise level was limited. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was served very quickly. The presentation and quality were very good. The prices are in the middle segment. All in all a very good price/performance ratio 👍🏼 We’d love to come back 😉

Very good food, in a professional atmosphere. Rather upper price range.

The staff was great and the atmosphere was really nice. But that's it. My colleague threw up after eating and my meat 🥩 was like chewing gum and you couldn't get it down. Portions also quite meager for the prices. The appetizers from the kitchen are hard and taste old.

The food is always wonderful and of top quality, from starters pasta fish meat to dessert and coffee. Great wine selection. Service very attentive and professional couldn't be better. I look forward to visiting Romantica Rümlang again soon.

We were looking for something to eat and found Ristorante Romantica. We didn't have a reservation but still got a place on the terrace, thank God because the food was amazing! When we are in the area again we will eat there again. Worth a visit, see you soon.

Road construction in town is currently difficult. The underground car park is not easy to see straight away and you then have to drive around the whole block again.

Stuck with a cancelled flight from Zurich, not much choice for evening meal without a walk, so off we went aiming for a high street. Checked a few eateries but nothing exciting until we stumbled on Romantica. Standing outside looking at the menu the "matre de" came out to greet us and entice us in. So glad we did as the whole experience was fantastic. I could go on and on, but in short the food was amazing, service was friendly and attentive, decor and atmosphere good, and price reasonable. If ever I'm in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to return, in fact next trip to Switzerland I might even make a detour to make another visit.

Pretty smaller, modern but still stylish restaurant. We were welcomed very friendly and shown to a table. The menu is varied and the service is very friendly. We had three different dishes, porcini/truffle ravioli, veal cordon bleu and a pizza; all dishes were very good. The somewhat carelessly arranged plates could certainly have been done better. When it came to dessert, we asked ourselves why a "white chocolate mousse" with 2 tablespoons of large mousse balls could cost 16 francs??? Dessert tasted very good though.

The Romantica is always a guarantee for great food, fine wines, a good atmosphere, variety and warmth. Highly recommended and also supports the local clubs. 🍀❤️👌

I really liked it at Romantica. The ambience is simple but with a lot of charm. The service was very friendly and attentive. And most importantly: the food was excellent. Bruschetta as a starter, followed by lamb chops with fried potatoes and pistachio cream for dessert. And even though the restaurant was full, it was still possible to have a conversation at a normal volume. I would be very happy to come back.

Top restaurant in Rümlang. Was there for a quick lunch and felt very comfortable. The food “Insalata Romantico” was very tasty and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Parking spaces are either directly on the street or in the parking lot opposite. I can recommend the restaurant to everyone with a clear conscience.

I was able to visit the restaurant for business and I was very impressed. The food was good and sufficient. The support is quick and friendly. At the moment, June 2023, the construction site right next door is disturbing. The restaurant closes at lunchtime. My dish of the day was cheap at 20CHF.

Good restaurant but for us Italians, 100 euros for 3 pizzas and a couple of beers each is a bit much. But we are in Switzerland and here everything is definitely much more expensive than in Italy... and, in fact, I only come to Switzerland for work because at least I don't pay...

A nice place with nice conditions and good beer. Veal Cordon Bleu. We didn't expect frozen goods. Unfortunately you had to look for the meat. Breaded ham stuffed with cheese would be a better name for this dish. Then out of the deep fryer. We were served there. Carelessly slapped onto the plate, without any plate decoration, without anything. The pasta was very al dente. A little more and it would have cracked smoothly. But the taste is quite OK. The price was crisp for this food.

Attention: dogs are no longer welcome!! As long-time customers we no longer come. There are enough alternatives 😉

This is a wonderful restaurant. I just ate here for the second time in 2 nights. Here is Zurich area for business. We found by chance on first night. Food was excellent. Service was top notch. Friendly and professional. Ricky did an amazing job with his tam on both nights. Salads were fresh and delicious. Risotto was prepared perfectly. Two different groups of colleagues all enjoyed a great experience. You will not be disappointed by your experience here.

Went to eat there 2-3 times a month. Apparently dogs are no longer welcome, so we will never eat there again in the future, of course not outside on the terrace!

First time in Switzerland and we couldn't have picked a better restaurant to kick off our vacation. Not only was it close to our hotel and near the airport but the food and costumer service was amazing. The owner himself was checking in on us often ensuring we had a lovely experience and even offered us our first limoncello. For anyone looking for a nice dining experience and a delicious steak I would 100 percent recommend.
