My visit to this kebab restaurant was extremely disappointing. Despite a 20-minute journey, I was confronted with an unexpectedly long waiting time of 40 minutes for a single kebab - because I hadn't pre-ordered a kebab. It is unacceptable that customers have to wait so long for their order, especially for a dish as simple as a kebab. This shows a blatant misunderstanding of efficient restaurant management and a lack of customer focus on the part of the business. Such a waiting time for a kebab is not common in other restaurants and only underlines the flawed concept of this restaurant. It would be wise for the restaurant to instead focus exclusively on orders placed in advance. Such a service is suitable for those who order in advance, but for walk-in customers this is definitely not acceptable. In this way, the owner could save the restaurant and just rent a kitchen.

You will always be warmly welcomed in the Rest. Rose... The "Dönmek" = donner is first class... The flatbread, as well as the pocket bread, is freshly prepared when you order, baked and is recognizable... the meat is fresh So do the vegetables...an insider tip is the Gözleme with spinach or minced meat.

We came here spontaneously today as a family because we were driving past in the car and my husband had some really tasty Dürum here for lunch. Today it was already afternoon and there wasn't much going on except for walk-in customers. The food was okay so far, bread and sauce were really good, the rest was okay, the meat wasn't outstanding. Unfortunately, here too, the skewer is not cut fresh, but kept warm continuously, which makes the meat dry. We know really good kebab from Germany, where there are a lot of vegetables in the kebab and the meat is freshly cut off when the customer comes, which is then nice and brown, hot, crispy and juicy. The kebab is certainly better here than elsewhere in Winterthur, but we were missing the unique selling point. Suggestion: only cut off the meat when the customer comes, more vegetables/less meat, and a free Turkish tea. We've already experienced it, just not in Switzerland.

Food is very tasty and always fresh. There is still a bit of room for improvement in terms of waiting times, but the effort is there. But otherwise great, very polite and accommodating.

Mashalla! Almost the best Dürum I have eaten. According to stories, the kebab is also said to be excellent. The bread for this should be fresh and homemade. The fries are also delicious. Best Dönnermann in the Winterthur region.

It used to be great, but not anymore. The quality of the kebab meat is poorer, but the prices are increased to 13 francs.

It's one of the best but the price also went up as soon as it started running :-/

Super fine! but for 2 kebabs in pocket bread you had to wait 30 minutes (take away...) but you know that the bread is homemade and fresh. Recommendation: Always call in advance. 😊

We were there for the first time. The Google reviews made us try their famous, home-baked and totally delicious pocket bread kebab (is that how you spell it?). Really highly recommended! Despite the stress of the renovation, they are very friendly and accommodating. I eat kebab maybe once a year. But I think that has changed now. 5 out of 5 stars. Top!

Flatbread and pocket bread are made fresh on site. The ingredients are fresh but the yogurt sauce is too salty for me. Every time I go out to eat, my body has an extreme need for fluids. Please optimize your yogurt sauce. Otherwise everything is great.

Took the falafel. It was surprisingly good. Bread is homemade but it was a bit chewy. To be fair I had take out and only ate it after half an hour, so this might not be a problem when eating it fresh. During lunch hours the place is quite busy, so depending on what you order you might have some longer waiting times.

Very friendly hosts, very, very tasty pocket bread. Dürüm different than usual. Meat isn't the best but OK. If you were to change the meat with yaprak meat, for example, I would be happy to pay 2 fr more. Nevertheless, a very tasty snack bar!

Undoubtedly the best Kebap restaurant in all of Winterthur. The menue is diverse and the food is usually prepared fresh and always tasty. It's not of the same quality as the average Kebap restaurant, but rather noticeably above that. The sauces are unique and tasty and the staff is extremely friendly, I can not recommend this enough for a quick bite or a full meal.
