Absolutely top class!! We more than enjoyed the evening with Alex. Top dinner with wine accompaniment. All courses are a delight for the palate, finely balanced and accompanied by a great wine.

This restaurant continues to maintain quality, service and a wonderful atmosphere year after year. Always a great reception, coupled with friendly and attentive service, forms the foundation before amazing food lands on the table. No pomp or ceremony, just simple and humble excellence.

The food was excellent, the wine pairing was heavenly, the service was excellent. The date didn't show up - it's your own fault. Thanks.

Dinner dragged on for 4 hours. After the main course, we waited 3/4 hour for the announced pre-dessert with empty glasses!! Never again!! simply disappointing at this price level!

We've tried the "surprise dinner" on a weekday. The restaurant is not big but luckily the tables are far enough from each other. The atmosphere and the kindness of the chef/assistant is amazing. We also asked for additional dish and a dessert. Everything was delicious and the wine pairings were perfect too. We will definitely visit again to try again!

The Trübli is something special. There are no run-of-the-mill menus, but you reserve for a Menu Surprise, which, as the name suggests, you don't know and can let yourself be surprised. The food was visually and tastefully excellent. The ingredients were wonderfully coordinated and just looking at them was a pleasure. The service is charming and warm. We felt wonderfully looked after as guests.

Was nice. Exceptionally polite service. A bit old toilet but was clean. The food was beautifully presented. We didn't like the taste because it was too sweet for us, but it's different for everyone. In terms of price, we paid 250 including a bit of a tip for the Surprise menu, an additional course to share, 2 glasses of red wine, two bottles of non-alcoholic beer, 2 1l bottles of mineral water and a coffee.

Apart from the tiny portions, the food was served with a lot of dedication. Each course has space on a coffee plate. The alarm bells started ringing for me right from the start when the sentence came, in our case we leave the restaurant feeling full but not overcrowded..... Oh dear, I thought. To be honest, when I go out to eat, I don't want to go to the fridge afterwards. However, you can always order a supplement, which saved me from starvation. It's just not my style to curtsy as a supplicant for a little more food. Don't think everyone does this because they're ashamed. In terms of taste, I found all the dishes very tasty, although not amazing. Somehow nouvelle cuisine reinterpreted. Meat and vegetables cooked perfectly, really very fine. In my opinion, the descriptions of the preparation and origin of the dishes at the table are too much and seem a bit artificial. In terms of price, that's a challenge. A bottle of affordable white wine costs around 60 to 100 francs, well. Together with the meal around 300 francs I think it's too much. But just. It was no different in Switzerland in the 80s. We simply pay too much in Switzerland. Still, I think there are few restaurants that celebrate food with such dedication. If the portions were a little larger, I would try it again. But only when I have some money in reserve again. The whole thing took too long and got on my nerves. I want to eat and not talk to the person I'm talking to for hours. The Trübli is an inconspicuous little restaurant in the middle of Winterthur. There are only a few places, so it makes sense to reserve. At Trübli, food becomes a work of art. That was definitely a "highlight"... a dream! We were a group of 10 and felt like you were having dinner for two. The quality of the service and the food was excellent. Alex introduced the individual wines to us in detail and professionally. In addition to the culinary aspects, we also learned a lot about his wines. Manuel's service was attentive and discreet. The portions were the right size, the preparation was creative and the combinations were a delight. We would all be happy to go to Alex again and are already looking forward to it.

Die Bedienung top, freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Schade war ich in Eile. Die Kürbissuppe mit Ingwer eine Entdeckung und die Maispoularde zart und schmackhaft. Preis stimmt. Werde nächstes Mal sicher mit etwas mehr Zeit Mittagessen, lohnt sich!
