Very tasty food and friendly staff. Beautiful location in the old town right by the lake!

Well I was disappointed. Ordered a glass of water with coffee and didn't get it, reported it very politely to the waitress and then she came with 2 shot glasses not on the tray but in the hand. It wouldn't be a problem if you kept it at the bottom and not at the top where the drink was supposed to be. I'm very disappointed that it has such a name.

Yummy food, lovely staff, great atmosphere

Ordered the Scottish salmon quiche. Delicious and was delivered promptly by a helpful server. Lovely atmosphere too, as we seated ourselves next to friendly guests. Overall enjoyed eating here very much.

Despite the café being full, the staff were fully motivated, friendly and everything was to our complete satisfaction

I had some breakfast with my 7-month-old daughter this morning. Very nice service from Steffi. She immediately brought me the high chair and of course cleaned it first. 😃 There was enough space and it was nice and quiet. The croissants are also very good 👍🏻

The barley soup, vesmicelle, was absolutely fantastic. And the deserts were so good. Paula gave the best service!! Highly recommended and a must try if you are in Rapperswil.

Delicious food and great staff.

We wanted to have a little something to eat on Friday evening before the ice hockey match. The drink order was taken quickly and delivered shortly afterwards. However, we didn't have the opportunity to order anything to eat because the waitress left immediately. We waited another 20 minutes or so and after no one came, I ordered food at the counter. The salads were okay, but no one came to clear the plates or anything like that. Finally I went back to the counter and asked for the bill. The condition bothered them and when I asked to pay by card they rolled their eyes and said it wasn't possible. I then got cash and paid. I have to say that there was nothing going on in the restaurant. A pity.

The food recommended was really wonderful, healthy with some fries but still salad served with local handmade dressing is marvelous and compensating.

Food very fine, friendly and efficient staff.

It took forever until we were served. When the last 6 of us received their ice cream, the first ones were already finished. There were undefinable lumps in the ice cream. The staff preferred to stand behind the counter on their cell phones.

Very nice and diligent service on the terrace! The vegetarian menu was delicious, next time I'll have the classic cheese quiche with salad, my grandparents used to come here for this.

Sat for nearly 20 minutes while being told that “someone is coming.” Moved from outside to inside thinking that would help. We asked if we could sit inside. The hostess rolled her eyes at us. Recommend to go here by tour guide. We ended up going somewhere else. Don’t waste your time.

Best cheesecake. We went to Café Rosenstädtler in Rapperswil for the first time. I had the cheesecake. I can only recommend this. Really fine cheese mixture and an incredibly fine and crispy dough. The service staff is friendly and courteous.

We were there on a Saturday. First we had to wait 30 minutes before we were even served. After our meal we wanted to order a dessert and the order was taken. After 40 minutes of waiting we decided to pay. The order was never forwarded. When I asked about paying, the lady said she wasn't responsible, but didn't call anyone else. We then did this ourselves. We were then told the amount but no invoice was presented. I then asked for this and after a bit of hesitation the gentleman brought the bill. 2x 3dl drinks were charged on the bill but only 2x 2dl were served. The waitress refused to adjust the amount. She just said "I can bring you another 1dl". After a short discussion that we didn't want another 1dl but wanted to pay the amount for 2dl, we gave up and paid the bill with the 3dl. The service staff didn't have a lot of stress; they often just stood around. Very bad service and very unfriendly to customers. It's a shame because the food was actually good.

This was a great spot! The service was quick and the food was delicious. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Another plus was that this had more budget friendly food options (which worked great for me!) but there were also larger meat/veggie options if you wanted a bigger plate.

Very attentive waitress very helpful and explained the menu. Please do not change what you are doing and please keep the staff you have. Very pleasing and I would recommend anyone come here to visit you. The food is also outstanding and very fresh

The food here is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed every single dish served, from their speciality, local Tarte, house salad dressing to the sweet set with hearty apple doughnut. 100percent tasty! Highly recommended

This morning at 9:30 a.m. no croissants, nut or almond croissants, almost no small breads. I can't understand that at all, since there are TWO other branches in Jona!!! and they have a large product range. It's a shame, the cafe was always worth a visit.

2 great vegetarian dishes which were a absolute pleasure - ravioli and salty cheesecake. In the Cheesecake the cheese actually seeps in into the bread crust, absolute heaven

Waitress very professional and friendly. We just had salads and deserts. Very good and fresh. We would recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting the area.

We left without ordering because many of the staff would rather chat than serve. A lack of staff was certainly not the problem but rather a lack of interest in serving customers.

Great lunch with great staff. Our waitress was very friendly. We had the soup of the day and meatloaf. The mashed potatoes were delicious and different from any we had ever had. This is a great place to relax and eat.

Enjoyed a lovely traditional swiss quiche at this cafe which was recommended by my tour guide! Would definitely recommend the dish - very cheesy and full of flavour. Waitress got my order correct but thought she got it wrong and even came out to the seating area to find me. Lovely people

Coffee and tarte flambée are good. Ordering and serving went quickly. But employees seem brutally stressed on Sunday. Which is reflected in the customer's atmosphere. Maybe we just had a bad day.

Food was yummy had veal with pasta. Had hibiscus drink with alcohol very refreshing. Service from Paola. She was awesome came right over gave us English menus was on top of all our orders 17 of us. Recommended by our guide. Lovely choice. The dessert forget about it. OMG. Wish had 2 stomachs. The curry soap yum yum. Pumpkin ravioli. Eventhough pumpkin big in US not my favorite. But how they did it in ravioli. Awesome great for vegan or just a lover of pasta. Would definitely make that my spot if lived over there

Wonderful cheese cake, great service

On Wednesday afternoon I ordered an apple strudel with coffee, which the friendly service employee recommended to me. Decorated with a lot of love, I was served a warm, super fine strudel. Highly recommended! Thanks for the friendly service.

The rosenstaedter special was absolutely wonderful. The mixed salad with raspberry dressing was superb having lettuce, corn, lentils, carrots, beets and more was quite lovely. The rosenstaedter tarts was wonderful I got with cheese and onion and had superb flavor. Staff was kind and friendly and I’m has a cute location right in the main square

We enjoyed a quick lunch here! The tart with cheese and onions looked kind of like a light pizza but with a delicious, unique taste. The specialty quiche with cheese and onions was also really good! The service was very fast and friendly.

Simple...but wonderfully delicious treats

Catastrophe!! I would prefer to give zero stars! Not recommended. Far too expensive and unfriendly. Staff really has no idea about anything. This very small portion of apple strudel costs almost 15 francs. The sauce is watery with endless dumplings, but the staff doesn't care. We sat for an hour in front of our empty plates, except for the strudel, no one ever came and cleared away or asked if we wanted to drink something else. I will never enter this cafe again!!!!!
