Great bar on Lake Lucerne to enjoy and relax.

It's not a 5* restaurant now. But the offer and price is ok. But the place is very, very beautiful. Highly Recommended.

Beautiful view - unfortunately totally overwhelmed in the kitchen - it takes ages for the food to arrive. So never again, sorry!

An excellent place to chill by the lake, hv a drink and order something small to eat. What a beautifully located place, friendly service, good food, and I loved the surroundings. Their country cuts or potato wedges with their self-made chillie sauce was a real hit!

Not superb but good enough for a decent drink and a tasteful dinner. First order of drinks got a bit lost in the matrix but the solved it and offered some complimentary snacks. Much appreciated

The place is beautiful, I think it's a shame, it's a shame that you have to place your order at the checkout first. And you have to bring the drinks to the table yourself. Price performance could be better. The staff is very friendly and the food was good.

. . . and again we stopped at the Rössli Bar in Hergiswil. An incredibly beautiful location right on the lake and very well maintained. Almost everything your heart desires is available at the self-service counter. The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating, even for special requests. . . . and a short time later the food (chicken wings and fries) is brought to the table. The disadvantage: the portions are a little larger than planned. But whatever; it tastes so wonderful. Everything is just cleaned away! . . . and the table is cleared courteously - that's called self-service in the Rösslibar ‼️ . . . and we'll be back. Thanks to the whole crew.

Location ideal, food not good (I had chicken wings that were dry and over-seasoned) and I didn't find the self-service to be particularly pleasant either!!! Too bad it didn't fit together! The place is suitable for better, but not more expensive!!!!

Despite a reservation, our beautiful table by the lake was already occupied. Unfortunately, the food only came after 1 hour and only after we asked twice. The food was good. The service is mediocre. There was a brass band here that evening, so it was very busy.

In hot weather, great ambience under the cool trees. The farmer's salad was served with a lot of chicken and tasted very good. Thank you for the offered coffee.

Great place to have lunch. Much better than to stay at a restaurant at the highway. Take a small tour and enjoy a much better lunch witha great view. Switzerland is always a bit more expensive but it was worth it. And as a surprise We get an espresso for free, from the house. Nice 👌

For me it's like a vacation in the Rössli Bar

I had reserved a table for 3 people. Upon arrival found that the service staff had no knowledge of it. She seated us at a table that was very dirty. The young woman from the service put the placemats on without cleaning the table first. There was a dead fly under my set. The card holder was full of dust and dirty, even on the other tables. As a clean and well-maintained restaurant, I cannot recommend it. It's a shame for the good location. The food was good.

No comparison to before. There are still the Glace (Coupe) cards on all the tables, even though they don't have any. Orders with burgers are brought forward, so I still didn't have any fries after 40 minutes. And the friendliness (as already mentioned in other reviews) is definitely missing.

The Rösslibar is located directly in the small park at the boat pier in Hergiswil. We went on vacation for a week in Hergiswil and rode our bikes every day. At the end of the day we always stopped there to relax a little and to enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Lucerne. We were still able to have a final beer while the sun was setting. Recommended

If Lucerne then LUZ....simply simple, carefree, fast, good with a small child, quick service..fine cheese.good bache. .

Fabulous location, tables very close to the lake, very welcoming and with lots of space. Visited for lunch offers good burgers. In addition to burgers there are many other dishes on the menu such as pasta, salads, side dishes and meat dishes.

Very fine food, wonderful location by the lake.

A cozy place right on Lake Lucerne, in the middle of the municipality of Hergiswil NW. The Rösslibar is located directly in the small park at the boat dock and a few meters from the small playground. There are parking spaces directly on the main street (blue zone) at Migros. The bar has a wide range of snacks and drinks. E.g. salad plates, burgers with fries and soft drinks. There is self-service or Order at the checkout stating the table number. Everyone has to get their own cutlery, salt and pepper, napkins and placemats at their table. We had a Lexus burger with country cuts, shandy, salad plate with meatloaf. We were happy with the quality and taste. However, I found my two slices of meatloaf to be very thin (almost a touch of nothing) and the vegetables were fried too fatty for my personal taste. Generally a nice place to sit and have something to eat.

Great location, cozy. Unfortunately, the Black Forest cake from the refrigerated display case was a disaster. Totally old, completely dried out, cream already yellow and brittle. For CHF 6.50/piece. really disappointing. At least we were able to return everything and get the money back. For that the 2nd star. Our complaint was tried to be dismissed with excuses. No apology. A pity. Cleanliness at the table is absolute. It's a shame, more could really be done with the location. Maybe with small things, like instead of LED tubes that remind me of Christmas, with lanterns or something similar. Summer feeling... I probably won't eat again in the next few months, even though it looked good. But if the cake doesn't work...

Pleasant terrace in the shade by the water, musical atmosphere, order and service guaranteed 100% with a smile, it's a bit of a change from the reserved side that the Swiss often have. On the menu side, we stick with fairly qualitative snack-style cuisine (salads, burgers, fried foods), with some specialties such as Bratwurst, Swiss sausage. The prices remain Swiss prices, count 50 CHF for 2 people for a dish and a drink per person. In short, a nice break between Lucerne and Interlaken!

Food is so-so compared to others in the same price segment. The bread was very dry and the meat was ok. Fries were soft. No hate, just comparison to the competition.

Imbiss Restaurant mit Selbstbedienung (Essen wird an Tisch gebracht). Restaurant war gut besucht und Service Personal im Stress. Trotzdem sehr freundlich und alles ging schnell. Burger waren SEHR fein!! Auch der Vegiburger war augezeichnet. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen. Ist nur bei gutem Wetter geöffnet (kann man auf der Internetseite nachschauen)

Good burger joint. The staff were very friendly and the food was of great quality. Mainly there are burgers and salads with side dishes. The portions are completely sufficient to fill you up. The location of the location is also great, right on the shore of Lake Lucerne. The only small drawback is that it is a self-service shop.

A large selection of fine burgers. Beautiful location. Unfortunately, there is a lack of good service from the order at the counter, through the completion in the kitchen to the timely delivery of 4 🍔 to the table. After several attempts in 2018, nothing has improved this year either. It's a shame about this business in the most beautiful location.

The food is excellent. Unfortunately, the service doesn't work... The order is asked several times when ordering... Delivery is staggered, sometimes every 15 minutes, which is very tedious when there are several people... If you order at the counter, half the price is charged Forgotten the goods... What a shame... the food is perfect but the counter service is not usable🤔

Had the Alpler burger, my wife had the chicken breast. Very tasty, nice portions. Recommended!
