If it were easier to get to, I would come here more. The view is overwhelming.

Everything about the birthday party was just right. Thank you very much for the cozy evening / night 😉.

This was recommended to me by a very sweet couple that I was able to hike with on the trails below. I took the ride up and enjoyed the food, the service and the view. When my server realized I was an English (only) speaking customer she got assistance to overcome my limitations. Both servers went out of their way to make sure I was well taken care of. With more time I would say this is worth the hike. On a short time frame I took the ride up the hill based on the recommendation. So glad I did!

A very pleasant place with a good atmosphere

One of the best views I’ve ever had in a restaurant, cultured and elegant vibe. Food was traditional and could not have been prepared better.

Everything was tip top (only the gondola ride was a bit expensive).

Food is delicious and service is excellent. The experience of having to go up via cable car is fantastic. Not to mention the view, which is also incredible.

A rustic and very popular place where you can eat exceptionally well. On All Saints Day the waiting times were a bit long, but that was due to the fact that the mountain restaurant was completely booked. By the way, we enjoyed the world's best cordon bleu on the Alpgschwänd 😋

We wanted to get to Pilatus, but got a little lost and ended up at this funicular. But we didn’t regret it!! The view at the top is worth it! There was also a restaurant upstairs where we had a very tasty meal. We took strips of venison and salad, the price was not cheap, but by Swiss standards it was normal - in Zurich we had lunch for the same price, and this is still a restaurant on the mountain! It was delicious. The service is ok, but not very friendly, as it seemed to me. Moreover, there are a lot of tourists in such places, I think the waiters should know English. Also, if you want to take a seat inside the restaurant, Anikina Street, you need to book a table in advance. On Sun all the tables were occupied for the whole day, as the waiter informed us. A round trip ticket cost 12 euros per person. (29.10.2023) You can go up or down on foot, but I don't know how long it takes. I saw tourists coming. The view is magnificent, displays Swiss views to the fullest!!)

Very good food, top service, lots of game dishes, all in all very good. You can go up/down on foot, or take a cable car. Parking at the valley station is free. The view is fantastic. priced rather expensive.

Very nice restaurant in a special location. The train takes you right next to the restaurant. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. With a view of Lake Lucerne. Home cooking. The food was great and was served quickly. Service very friendly. Price / offer: Very good.

Very fine game eaten. Service was super fast, courteous and friendly despite the many guests. Great starting point for hikes. Beautiful view of Lake Lucerne. I would be very happy to recommend it. The gondola only has 8 seats. But the trip is worth it.

Good, but could be even better! We made a reservation for 5 p.m. but were there at 4:30 p.m. Unfortunately, we were then told that we could only eat from the small menu; for the large menu, which is what we wanted, we would have to wait until 5:30 p.m., plus preparing the menu would probably have taken 1 1/2 hours. What was strange was that a week before, a friend was there before 5 p.m. and was given a menu from the large menu. If anything, you should treat all guests equally. And it would be helpful if the times when which card is valid were clearly noted on the website. The menu from the small menu which we then ordered, farmer's bratwurst in onion sauce with French fries, was as follows. Fries were the best I've eaten in a long time. The farmer's bratwurst was also very tasty. The only thing that still has a lot of room for improvement is the sauce. It was clearly either a ready-made sauce or the chef was in love. It tasted strongly of Maggi/Genovis, which usually indicates a ready-made sauce. But a ready-made sauce could also be better seasoned. The sauce was actually not edible.

We were there with 11 adults and 7 children, the menu was pre-ordered. Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for the food (salad after 30 minutes, Älplermagronen after 50 minutes), and despite explicitly ordering from the staff and reminding us several times, the children only received their food (Schnipp) after the adults and even dessert (one each scoop of ice cream) they had to wait longer than the adults! It's a shame, because the food was delicious, the weather was perfect and the view was magnificent!

The restaurant's own gondola took us from the large parking lot directly to the cozy garden restaurant. We enjoyed a great lunch with attentive and friendly service, great and tasty delicacies - the bacon platter was the absolute highlight and, last but not least, a breathtaking view of Lake Lucerne. Gladly again at any time👍

Food very good, service staff friendly, view great, but definitely make a reservation. Unfortunately, the boss complained about impatient guests throughout the entire trip up the mountain and said they could also go up on foot. Knowing full well that he meant us because we had to wait as they filled the train with food for the restaurant. That doesn't work at all! He probably doesn't need it anymore...

The slightly different restaurant. Only accessible by train or on foot. Nice terrace with great views. Good food and an extensive wine list. Prices are rather high. Unfortunately the service was completely overloaded in this beautiful weather.

Super great mountain restaurant. Fantastic food. Great view (unfortunately the electricity pylons are a bit annoying). It is loud inside the restaurant with many guests. But otherwise - a dream place in Switzerland!

They have a lovely view and, generally speaking, the restaurant makes a good impression. We ordered two salads for a starter and two main dishes. Unfortunately, both of our salads were clearly not washed and crawling with little bugs. I cannot understand how they could not wash their salad before serving it. Yes, the restaurant is pretty busy and probably they have quite some pressure in the kitchen. Yet I think that this could easily be prepared before-hand. We complained and did not have to pay for the salads. The main dishes were okay but I could not get the bugs out of my head and therefore could not enjoy the main course. Overall a real pity - they could be quite good if they tried to keep their standard high.

Reachable by cable car or a walk of +/- 1 hour. The food tastes even better after the march because the portions are quite large. Very well prepared, great value for money. Very friendly staff. Fantastic view

The view is really beautiful. Unfortunately, our experience at the restaurant was anything but satisfactory. We would have liked to make a reservation for our wedding celebration but unfortunately we were not given any attention. We wanted to eat, but then changed our minds because the wait would have been too long. After we had paid for our drinks and the train journey, we were asked twice whether we had actually paid for the train journey. Which only rounded off our negative experiences. A pity

Very friendly despite many guests, fantastic view!!

Very good food, beautiful atmosphere, friendly but slow service. We were the first to sit down for lunch but were only allowed to order food after five other tables were fully serviced. That was after we told the waitress we were ready to order, which also only took <five minutes. Didn't bother me too much, just don't be in a rush if you visit here. The food was well worth it. Although I would prefer thicker fries over julienned ones.

Out of the world experience visiting this beautiful place almost by accident. We stumbled on to this cable car station somewhere out of Lucerne and it turned out to be one of the best happy accidents in Swiss! :) The food was delicious and most importantly the coffee both hot and cold. Iced coffee had everything in it, fully loaded and became a huge family favorite. The experience sitting here and watching Lake Luzern was breathtaking and magical. Highly recommend that you find this place and visit here!!!

Amazing location for a cute little restaurant. Food was delicious, good service and the portions are very big. I only noticed that they were a bit understaffed, but the service was kind and tried to attend the tables as fast as they could. Would definitely come back and recommend!

An excellent restaurant with excellent cuisine. Swiss cuisine relaunched. Very competent, friendly and fast service staff, which is not a given with the crowds - best regards to you. The food - a taste explosion. Näbus soup, duck liver "Langmattli" and lemon sorbet with Prosecco (on request!) - excellent. The cordon bleu from the people sitting next to me looked so good that I would like to eat it too ;) . Surprisingly, there was also the musical backdrop from a TOP band from Lucerne. We will be back :)

Very nice. Located at one of the stops on the cable car to the summit. Excellent views of the lake and mountains. From there there are walking routes. It has a few rooms. There is an outdoor and covered terrace.

A beautiful restaurant with an amazing view, accessed by a private automatic queue, the cost is up to 12 francs, inside there is a glass observation deck with a beautiful panorama of the lake, the 4 cantons and the mountains, very good food, friendly service, I honestly recommend this place

In the winter garden there is a phenomenal view of Lake Lucerne and the mountains (depending on the weather) attentive service very good cuisine from Hergiswil NW by car to Parking spot, then hike good shoes/equipment or cable car. We'd love to go again from spring❤️

Here they serve the most delicious Älplermagronen I have ever tasted, and the wine was also quite tasty. It is better to reserve seats in advance, the restaurant is quite popular. The peculiarity is that the restaurant can be reached by lift.

Such a wonderful place to dine! Everyone's food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The view paired perfectly and was incredible from our table. I will definitely be coming back here at every opportunity.
