Friendly, typically presented. Unfortunately the food is not like it is in the USA The burgers there are usually prepared with fresh meat and tasty and visually appealing buns.

Burgers are okay. However, the spare ribs are not recommended and are far from a good price/performance ratio. The plates of the main course remained on the table until after dessert, which was not perceived as very attentive.

The restaurant lives up to its name. The ambience is designed for Route 66, but is just as family-friendly, the terrace is large and well-sunlit, nestled in trees, and the playground is attached. This also means that sunny days are more inviting to linger. The food is good, American. The service needs to be improved. Depending on the service, the staff is inattentive, cold or stressed, without an overview and has so far been cheeky towards guests on the terrace at Fullhouse. But with a little patience on the part of the guests, this can be endured. This can also be improved with some staff training.

The food was really good. The ambience was still typical of America for years. I found the price/performance to be appropriate. Service very unfriendly if it's open until 10 p.m., the music goes off at 9 p.m., coffee at 9:15 p.m. or simply paying for the last round and at 9:20 p.m. you wait with the key in your hand for the guests to leave the restaurant, after which the door closed out of. Very poor performance if you treat the guests like that.

Very Californian, fast service and very nice staff, the food is very good. A little trip to California. I can really recommend it.

Restaurant feels more like a pub with regulars' tables. A lot of alcohol and a lot of cigarette smoke, but since the regulars' table was in the center, a smoke-free place was not possible. The burgers are big and good. With a side dish (fries & co) around 23 Chf, which is okay. A mini lettuce leaf next to it would be nice. Fries and wedges are delicious, but 2 Chf for a dollop of extra ketchup is... well. I also had the chilli fries with cheese sauce, which turned out to be spray cheese (?), as it dried extremely quickly, with a typical pattern and an artificial taste. I think this should be declared because there are differences between sauce and spray can... Drinks are priced okay, but sell tap water? In addition to the basic fee, we pay CHF 2.60 for an additional m³ of water in the canton of Bern, so that should be free for eating. If I 'just' want water, that would be appropriate. Criticism of incorrect orders was discreetly resolved. Good handling of it. Thanks. Large area for the little guests, which was soon larger than the terrace. Keep an eye on the children and still relax. Tiptop. Only cutlery for children's hands would be nice, because the ones there are really big. Overall it was okay and recommended if you want to visit a local bar.

We've been to the Road House Route 66 a lot in the past, and we've enjoyed coming so far. Recently I was disappointed. The food came with ready-made sauces and the meat was no longer good. My partner vomited several times right after eating. Unfortunately the service also left a lot to be desired, very impersonal and almost condescending. It's a shame... I hope it was just a one-time experience, but we literally had a bad evening... Addendum: Thank you for your unprofessional answer. In fact, it was someone else you were referring to. Very good classic burger, side dishes (fries) are also nice, but could be a little more :) Chicken nuggets made from real chicken for the kids, great! Beautifully furnished inside and a large playground with a trampoline outside!

Food was very good, especially the country cuts! It's a shame that the sauces are most likely not homemade. Homemade iced tea was good but even then the berries were frozen and still stuck together. Atmosphere was well, lamps flickered and the spots were very dazzling. But all in all, always worth a visit! Service was very friendly and the food came very quickly.

Since I was a child I have always gone to the previous ROUTE66! We spent many birthdays and Sunday dinners there as a family. I liked it very much... But what has now become of it is just embarrassing and incompetent!! Today I was given a verbal ban from the house because I accidentally didn't want to pay for a salad that I ordered incorrectly. I accidentally ordered it wrong, which I emphasized several times: "It was my mistake." They spoke to me in a very condescending manner and was literally told "if you're not capable, you're wrong, that's not a big problem." I emphasize, it's about a salad! The chef threatened me with the police and finally she called her "husband" chef" who didn't let me speak even though I pleaded guilty again and then banned me from the house! They were very unfriendly and not willing to compromise at all! I have NEVER experienced anything like this in my life! It's a shame the previous owners are no longer there... they were really great people and were always super nice and had a smile on their faces even in times of great stress. A pity... Thank you for the dirty evening that I wanted to spend comfortably with my father.

Poor quality, cheeky boss, premium nuggets are not recommended as well as the soggy fries with the ready-made cheese sauce. Onion rings make your stomach ache. The wine smelled of urine and the lemon water was like it came from a waste incineration plant. All in all, a culinary delight for hungry, unsuspecting and tasteless ne'er-do-wells. Even my blind daughter was able to cook the nuggets better in an in-house deep fryer.

Stopped there yesterday Sunday with grandchildren after a long hike. Very friendly, prompt and courteous service and very tasty food. Really recommended and definitely a restaurant for all of us that we will visit again.

Service is very quick and very friendly, you feel very welcome! The BLT sandwich was very tasty, unfortunately the Road House Burger was not: the bun was very soft (almost mushy) and fell apart immediately. The lettuce was limp and moist in the burger, as if it had been ready for ages. Definitely go again! Because everything else is great!

Unfortunately, since the change in management, the customer is no longer king. On the dessert menu, “Warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.” But if you don't like vanilla ice cream and ask for raspberry ice cream instead, this is too much effort and will be forbidden by the boss. In addition, colleagues put money into the stuffed animal fish machine that evening, but it was defective. We didn't get the money back on the grounds that the machine was rented. But even afterwards it was not found necessary to put up a “defect sign”. So I have to change from 5 to 1 star. Luckily there are other great restaurants in Thun.

If I buy the cheapest ingredients from a gas station and allow myself no more than 5 minutes to prepare it, it still tastes better. Burger was a disappointment and the sides didn't come until I had already eaten. Fries are greasy, uncrispy and poorly seasoned. You can only pay with cash. I'll never eat there again.

I recommend this restaurant, you can drink with friends as well as eat out with a date without any problems. The atmosphere is relaxed and invites you to relax on the terrace, especially when the weather is nice. The food is delicious and the burgers are photogenic to show off on Instagram. There is a large parking lot, so you don't have to worry about parking. I really like Route 66.

50 minutes after eating you didn't even ask if you wanted anything else.... you walked past it x times and didn't feel like earning anything. Observed twice how the staff got into the plates before serving without gloves to clean it. Mask brings a lot 🙄

I ordered a burger with onion rings there. Positive: - The burger was a reasonable size for the price. -The burger was nice and juicy and the sauce won me over. It was strong, but not overwhelming. - The onion rings were nice and crispy and tasted decently of onions and not of breading. - I personally find the atmosphere very pleasant. It is rustically furnished and I immediately felt at home. - the service was very quick. Suggestion for improvement: Personally, I would like a little more contact with the customer when serving.

Bartender was very unfriendly, unmotivated and arrogant. We were asked: “Did you like the burger?” and my colleague answered honestly: "The meat wasn't that good." The bartender didn't respond to that at all, just shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't care." When the second round came to the table, another stick of beer fell over as he was serving it. Everything emptied onto my pants and shoes, then he said calmly and disinterestedly: "sorry, I didn't mean that." When I came from the toilet because I had to wash everything away, you could have asked if everything was OK or at least bought me a beer or something else. I recommend this pub to anyone who prefers unfriendly and incompetent staff.

Not recommended for vegetarians. The only vegetarian option ("Vegiburger" as it was called) consists of lettuce, a fried egg and a slice of cheese sandwiched between bread. When I asked why there wasn't a patty in it, they just said: it's already available everywhere else, that's why they don't do it like that. Then we'll probably go out to eat everywhere else, just not here anymore. Second point of criticism: quite apart from the current situation, it is no longer in keeping with the times that only cash payments are accepted. The overall impression was rounded off by unmotivated and very distant-looking service from the start.
