Always worth an experience. Service was friendly. Not always the fastest but good. Children's menu very tasty and a great size for 3 year olds. They had a great time on the playground. Prices a bit expensive. I wish the drinks were a little cheaper. Food was delicious.

Very friendly, great service, nice location. The airplane seats are a fun idea, but rather impractical for eating because they are inflexible. I had the gratinated tartare, which was good but too much salt.

I organized in Runway34 an event for a bigger group. Everything went smoothly, the service was very helpful, competent and nice - and the food was good. I can definitely recommend!

Very good gastronomic idea, "kitsch" in a way, but made with heart and thoroughly thought through down to the last detail. Service well trained, kitchen... well, flexible, but there is more written in the promo brochure than the quality on the plate. The menu is very varied, there is something for every taste, funny and well presented in a modern way. ... I won't go there just for food, average performance.

Ambience and food are great. A real pleasure. The staff is friendly, committed and very attentive. The only point of criticism is the (in my opinion) high prices.

The two of us enjoyed a Fly&Dine evening at Runway34. We received a friendly welcome in the great hangar atmosphere. We were well informed about the course of the evening. After an aperitif, we went through the entire flight from Zurich to Milan, including takeoff and landing, in the Boeing B777. Sitting in the cockpit and being able to experience everything live was very impressive. Our patient and very friendly instructor pilot (unfortunately can't remember his name) explained everything to us in detail and actively supported us so that we were able to maneuver the Boeing to Milan without any stress. The dinner with dessert was fine, the staff was attentive and friendly. It goes without saying that such an experience in this impressive place has its price. We will certainly remember it fondly.

Everyone who writes negatively here is not aware of how much effort this location puts into making it as exciting as possible for its guests. The food may be a little more expensive. But that's everywhere in Switzerland and you don't do it every day. If you want to save money all the time, you're welcome to do so, but you shouldn't visit such great places and then end up writing something to waste. Why not tell us on the spot if it doesn't work? I've been there many times. With business or privately. I smoked fine cigars and was never disappointed by the employees, who always respond to the wishes of the customers. One of the cigars was a bit dry. I told the clerk and he immediately looked into it. We could have given them back, but unfortunately they were the last ones. So we preferred smoking these. I will also be celebrating a birthday with my wife soon. So if I leave a few hundred euros on the table for a great evening or visit average places twice for the same money, then my choice is obviously easy. Runway is unique in Switzerland and I love it.

Very nice staff and like being in a first class lounge. Dining is done under or in an IL14. We had booked the combination package with flight simulator. Very good food in an airplane seat with legroom, just 1st class. Uncomplicated staff and so we were able to combine the simulator and the food perfectly. Serving is done with a trolley and the staff is very attentive. There is decoration everywhere with a reference to airplanes and old engines. In the evening you can also see the airport. I was here at the end of winter, so not outside. If only the real flying lessons were over so quickly ☺️ I would love to come by for a flight again. Hopefully the Helisim will then be “flyable” again. Exit ticket for guests from the restaurant

I reserved a window seat there at Runway34 in Galttbrugg and had a very good view of Zurich Airport and was able to watch the planes take off and the food where I ordered was also very tasty and the dessert was also very tasty I agree.

The meat was overcooked and already dry. In my opinion, the prices are too high for this quality of food, even if the ambience was good. In addition, you had to pay an additional 6 francs for vegetables in the main course.

The price-performance ratio wasn't right for us. We didn't like the food and then we also had to pay for parking.

The whole concepts unfortunately tearing itself apart. The restaurant is set up in tables with plane seats and aims for an upscale experience. So the waiters behavior is upscale and the presentation of food is as well. Now to the downside. Plane seats aren't comfortable. And the food is expensive as you would expect in a place like that but the portions are rather small and the quality of the dishes are mediocre. We had a beef tartare for example. While the portion wasn't necessarily small, the take on the dish was... interesting. Personally, I don't understand why the chef's need to try and reinvent a dish that's perfectly fine as you know it. It wasn't bad... but it was also not what you expected from a beef tartare. The salad was fine but again the concept beats itself.

We have visited Runway 34 several times. (Also for business) Most of the food was very good. Two invited guests were not at all enthusiastic about the Wienerschnitzel. The schnitzel consisted of 80% breading and a veal schnitzel that was sliced ​​as thin as cold cuts. (Error from supplier?)

If you can't take off, you can experience the real flying feeling here. We enjoyed the evening in flight and landed gently... Our junior also had fun. The food is excellent. And all wishes were fulfilled. It wasn't my first time here and I'll definitely come back. Thanks to the cabin crew for the great flight.

Very cool airport & airline ambiente! We were a bigger group and the service was great. The menu is very cool as the restaurant focuses on main dishes from various countries like India, Thailand, Australia, Austria. However, we also felt that the price was fairly high compared to the quality of food. Arguably you are paying a premium for the location as the restaurant is located next to the Zurich Airport Runway.

What an experience! You are welcomed as if you had booked a flight and the process afterwards is like being on a plane. We even sat in real airplane seats. The food was very fine. I can happily recommend it. 🙂

The ambience is a must for airplane and airport fans and is really special. The staff very attentive and friendly. The food average. At 10 CHF, the price for a canned beer is just as excessive as the 10 CHF for a half-litre bottle of mineral water. Zurich and the prices from the airport probably have an impact here. What unfortunately doesn't work for me is that payment with cash is not accepted!! 1 star for the staff 1 star for the ambience. .... There is no more.

We (4 people) were in the restaurant for the third time. 2 had tuna steak, we had specifically mentioned that we only seared it briefly, unfortunately it came through (perhaps a misunderstanding), it was taken back without discussion, the second plate was perfect. The gratinated tartare and the kangaroo menu were also very delicious. The salad and soup were also very tasty. The desserts are very expensive (1 scoop of ice cream for almost 8.-). We arrived shortly after 2 p.m. and left after 8 p.m. because we were meeting up with friends from Lake Constance. Unfortunately, the service didn't work that well, there was little to no demand, and the atmosphere wasn't great yesterday. Still wish you much success

It's just great to be able to escape from everyday life for an evening. The reception and service were very friendly. The food we all had was very well cooked and everyone enjoyed it very much. The prices and the quantity are “Züri Like” but ok. We will come back in any case

It was rather quiet that evening so it was very pleasant. I can really recommend Runway 34 for a meal in a different restaurant with a nice view of the airport.

A successful atmosphere for Flugi fans ;-) Reception and service friendly and attentive. Eat good. For a standard kitchen, however, the price is rather on the upper limit. Charging vegetables separately is a bit special. But it's not a restaurant for "in between". It lives from the interior and the view of the airport. We liked it and will book there again for a special event.

The restaurant's culinary offerings were limited, but what was offered was pretty well done. The prices still don't justify the food and although the food was pretty good, there's no need to charge such prices. You pay more for the ambience, which was unique, but also a bit old and no longer very special. In addition, the entire restaurant was also quite dark, which gave a somewhat run-down impression. The service staff was very friendly and caring and made you feel very comfortable in the restaurant. Despite the relatively short appearance, the host came across as a bit unfriendly and we felt that he might not be treating his waitress very fairly. All in all, a unique visit that doesn't need to be repeated.

A water 9.90fr! ... They have raised the prices too much and even higher they charge customers 1 fr for parking.

A visit to Runway 34 is not just a visit to a restaurant, it is an “event”. My guests from England were also thrilled. The food was excellent and the service was extremely friendly.

My all in all experience was nice. I loved the interior design and the location. The food honestly was not something wow and overpriced. The menu was really poor of choices and should create more options like more finger food choices etc.

It was a great experience and we and our companion really enjoyed it. However, the menu and drink prices are very high.

Poor price/performance ratio on February 1st, 2024. Tartare not fresh, spiciness not as ordered, toast watery. Wine massively overpriced. The experience is clouded by this. Not yet where it was. I have been a frequent guest at Runway 34 for more than 10 years, often with business customers. In the last 2 years, the experience, the offerings, the service (especially the attention) but also here and there the quality of the kitchen has deteriorated. So on Friday evening, July 9th, 2021, there was no Mirage beer, OK the perishability in connection with the closed restaurants due to Corona. But then the wine, the Malbec, was also missing and they wanted to make us know that this was also directly related to Corona. Such nonsense. As white as it was, the toast was probably only in the toaster for a few seconds. At the end came the shock with the dessert menu: One (1) scoop of ice cream should cost a whopping CHF 6.90, which is almost CHF 7.00. Well noticed - per ball. Other restaurants also decorate the sphere with fruits, “dressings” and real paintings. But a ball can be had there for a maximum of CHF 4.10. Yes, at banks you would call something like that usury. What do you say about an experience restaurant like Runway 34 wants to be? "Crash"? There is definitely a lot of catching up to do in various points and a lot of room for improvement in terms of offerings, price-performance ratio, service and friendliness, the latter not being for everyone. You may have to change the fuel supplier in order to find the right altitude again in a calm layer of air and/or train the co-pilot more intensively.

It's a shame that the bar on the plane (1st floor) no longer exists). As a result, the view of the airport is no longer that good.

Location is an experience, very large and full, service and food mediocre (4 people - food is not served at the same time, table in "no man's land"), the prices are too high.

The food was very good. The service was friendly and accommodating, but since a larger company was having its corporate event in the main part of the restaurant at the same time, the noise level was very loud and the staff was very busy. In the end they forgot to give us the exit ticket for the parking lot.

Really a great location. Really recommended. The waitress Candra was warm, very polite and in the mood for little jokes. I was there for lunch with my parents. Together we paid over CHF 200 and were then charged CHF 1 for the parking fee. We are of the opinion that for a certain amount this fee can be waived. In our opinion, the prices for drinks are completely exorbitant. For a 1/2l mineral you pay Fr. 8.50! Otherwise a restaurant that you can recommend.

Very impressive ambience. Everything is designed around aviation (including toilets). Very suitable for occasions and also for dinner for two.

The location is really very cool. The food and service were ok.

As in previous years, we had “our” table again :-). What I miss, however, is a lunch menu that costs less than CHF 40.00. The Thai was pretty good, but too expensive for me at just under CHF 40.00.

A wonderful pastime for anyone who loves the sky and aviation! Located in a hangar with a real aircraft museum, this restaurant will delight you with its atmosphere and location near Zurich Airport. There are tables with airplane seats around the planes where you can enjoy your dinner.

Food (Air Bambi) was absolutely not satisfactory (both side dish and meat). Arguments like “we are an experience restaurant” do not justify the price/performance ratio. Unfortunately the last time.

The ambience is great. The airplane in the hall, the business seats from old airplanes in which you can eat comfortably and the entire interior leave a great impression. Really not 0815! The service is attentive and very friendly! The food is delicious and very nicely prepared. A bit too small a portion for me personally. Advantage: No feeling of fullness after lunch. ;)

The ambience is very nice, specifically in the theme of airports - aviators with a plane in the middle of the room 👌🏻 You can celebrate various events in the restaurant. We had lunch as a family, we didn't experience any culinary highlights but we had a very nice time. Great staff, looked after us very well 👍🏻

Price-performance ratio is not right at all. Food and service are good but very average, but the prices are incomprehensible (nut salad with egg 18chf, bottle of water 75cl 11.5, cream for dessert which costs 15+chf extra) like in the star restaurant without the corresponding quality. It's an experience with the airplane seats (which you pay extra for) but that's about it. All in all overpriced, we won't come again.

We had our Christmas dinner here and I was actually really happy. The seating was very tight for us and I'm a rather slim guy. It wasn't comfortable. The quality of the food was good, but the portion sizes were far too small. In the middle we were served an additional portion of fries, which was emptied relatively quickly. However, no fries were added upon request. We had to wait longer for drinks and food. The ambience would otherwise have been good, but the negative points outweighed the negatives for me. A pity!

Great concept, especially for aviation fans. Brilliant experience in the optionally bookable flight simulator after the meal. The main courses still don't convince me 100%, could be cooked more sophisticatedly and are small at the usual Zurich prices. Very tasty dessert and friendly service.

The food was delicious and the portions were right. It's also good value for money and the ambience is simply impressive. The service has room for improvement. Very demanding and impatient when ordering... Didn't know the order of serving. As well as when taking the order. First came the wine then the aperitif... we were still having the aperitif and the salad came.

The airplane seats are very close to the edge of the table. We would prefer free-standing tables next time. In our opinion, the price/performance ratio is clearly exceeded. We won't be eating at Runway 34 any time soon.
