Sabo Burger in Basel

Apparently two different companies provide services in the same location. A Pizza place and a Burger one. Quite confusing as they have different menus and names. I ordered burger which was very best mediocre. At the end with fries and cola I paid 19CHF as menu price even there wasn’t any menu as option on either menu cards.

Top citizens, top fries, well seasoned. For Basel standards, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Furnishings, food and service 1a. The only suggestion for improvement would be to slightly increase the portion of fries. Otherwise, everything is done right here. respect

We just had an above expected experience at Sabo Burger. We ordered large and medium fries, and the sizes were big! Even though we took them to go, the fries were very crispy and tasty. The seasoning was good, but maybe a little more salt would be perfect. As for the burgers, we had two classics that were really good! The rolls were fresh and golden, and the amount of sauce in them was perfect. You can tell that an experienced chef knows how to build a great burger. The meat was good, although well done; the taste was still pleasant. Perhaps if it were enlarged to around 200 grams and cooked to medium doneness it would make it even better as the current size wasn't very large. Overall it was an amazing experience and the value for money was great too. We will definitely come back! Thanks! English: We just had a beyond-expectations experience at Sabo Burger. Burger really tasted very good. Friendly service and nice ambience. Unfortunately really expensive for the size. I was particularly happy about the vegan option!!

Cheap prices for drinks. Burgers and co. OK in terms of price and recommended. Friendly staff. It's a shop where you can happily meet, rather than for a romantic evening in the company of women... Sports broadcasts of FC Basel games, which are otherwise only shown on pay TV, round off the package...

Very chill place for a nice burger. Seems like a local hangout, and the vibes were casual. Good times.

Very tasty food. Fresh burger, very tasty pizza. All without long waiting times with friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Plus fair prices, including for the drinks. We will be back definitely.

Burger tasty but relatively small in my opinion and unusual that you have to specifically say that you want onions/tomatoes - otherwise you get (like me) burger, cheese, sauce, salad, roll... end. Large portion of fries but not worth the +20 CHF in my opinion.

The ambience leaves a lot to be desired, but the food and service make up for it all! Would come back at any time…

Sabo Burger is the ultimate place for delicious burgers and a great atmosphere. The menu offers something for every taste and the service is friendly and attentive. The furnishings are modern and stylish. I recommend the shop to every burger lover!

I visited "Sabo Burger" in the city center and was impressed by the atmosphere of the restaurant. The ambience was warm and inviting, with pleasant lighting and relaxing music in the background. I ordered a Margherita pizza and was impressed by the quality of the dough. It was crispy and light, yet sturdy enough to support the rich toppings. The tomato sauce was fresh and rich, and the cheese was generous and melted perfectly. I was also pleasantly surprised by the speed of the service. The waitress was friendly and attentive and brought my pizza to my table within a few minutes of ordering. Overall, my visit to "Sabo Burger" was an excellent experience. The quality of the pizza, the ambience and the service were excellent. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and look forward to returning soon.

Small restaurant with excellent burgers at moderate prices. Would love to come back. The service was also super friendly. With a little more ambience it could be a top burger/pizza restaurant. Much better than the common chain restaurants in Basel.

WOW!!!! Shortly before 10 p.m., since everyone else in the area was closed, I finally decided to order a burger from here including fries for take away. The service on the phone was very friendly and the preparation was very quick. Highlight: the taste of everything, just WOW! The burger is fine and juicy, the fries are just as fine and crunchy! I'm definitely positively surprised🤩

I just finish my burger. Really good taste, meat juice and fresh and most important have a taste. Is a simple burger, but simply the best :) Restaurant is also really nice. I got my order really quickly. Only one thing which is missing during summer is something cold, like ice coffee. For sure I will return here :)

Very nice, loving, friendly and flexible employees. I can highly recommend the homemade hummus and the burger, both vegetarian.
