Kitchen clearly not up to par with the place. Some crap. Not refined. Might as well cook at home.

Excellent service, dishes and staff as always, everything is of good quality at a reasonable price. I highly recommend 5 🌟. The waiters have a lot of courage and merit in putting up with people who are haughty and poorly educated without knowing how to live, always being the first to complain. I would like to see them in their place. Congratulations on that

The daily menus are excellent, I still have to try the menu which will undoubtedly be very good. The adjective that comes to mind for the menus is “tasty”! If we exclude the most prestigious restaurants, the chef and his brigade deserve the maximum score. The staff is attentive, friendly, fast and warm. And the view of Lake Geneva is magnificent and the mountains...

The cuisine and service are always up to par. We love coming back!

Food was mediocre for a fondue specialty restaurant in Switzerland. The waiter was rude and clearly didn't want to be at work.

You will eat very well there! 12 points in Gault and Millau why not but I find that for the price there is a lack of originality in the dishes although good and well presented. The service can be improved.

We regularly go to this restaurant which we love! We have never been disappointed! Everything is incredible! The dishes are always very well presented and always more than excellent! The setting and the view from the restaurant is absolutely magnificent! And the interior decoration is very refined and sublime! In addition, the establishment takes care of its usual customers.

The service is not good at all. Took ages to serv us, also we asked 3 times for water for the dog, and they didn’t bring it. Food was ok.

The food could be better done. They don’t have any idea what and how to cook a “Carbonara” pasta. The staff is gently and professional. The restaurant manager is better if he changes profession. He served a take away valued 42.- CHF in a Migros used paper bag. Unbelievable.

We had a pleasant time, the service was perfect, the waiters and waitresses were very welcoming and we had lots of attention for the children. The food was great.

We are regular customers, we wanted to reserve a table for 7, I was unable to place one and I was told to call back. Shocked

Disappointing ! Slow service... More than 15 minutes to order, luckily I was in good company. Forgot half of the aperitif order (there were only...2 of us) Bland dishes without salt. Too bad, because with such a frame, the working tool is just fantastic.

The different menus at the table were all very good! We waited a little long, but since it was the Christmas market, there were a lot of customers, and to serve a table of 9 all together... no problem at all! Impressed by the quality and quantity! Really! Service also very very good, friendly and efficient despite the lot of work! Super pretty table! I want her again🤪. And finally, another very big thank you! A small error on the invoice, and you fixed it the next day without any problem! Hat!!!!!!!

17.10.2023 12:00 hrs. Come with a trip to represent Mae Op brand. Stop for lunch here. The atmosphere is good, next to the lake. The menu is cream soup sprinkled with cauliflower. Eat with homemade wheat bread, salmon steak, and seasonal fruit cake for dessert. All were delicious and very flavorful.

Hilariously bad dinner experience. 10 minutes to get us the menu. 10 minutes to get wine. confusion between waiter and bartender on whether the old fashioned I ordered was 'special' or 'classic'. mix up on entree. brought over dessert tray with desserts that were no longer available. 15 minutes for cheque. rudeness was delivered as free service! Felt like a Charlie Chaplin movie

It's a pleasure to eat there for a professional or family meal. The 🙂: the choice of menu, the prices, the good dishes, the view, the quality of the products, the attention of the servers.

Unacceptable!! We ask for a table to eat, we are told full. We decide to have a drink at their bar and 2 hours later half of the tables are still empty.

The staff is very friendly, they have a very friendly and affectionate kitten. The room had a refrigerator and fan. The shower was very small and unfortunately everything got wet when you turned on the faucet. Also keep in mind that when entering the hotel there is a typical Dutch staircase, very long and steep, I do not recommend going with a lot of luggage to be able to go up, since there is no elevator. In any case, we appreciate that at check out they helped us unload our luggage. Meanwhile, the location is spectacular, very close to the main attractions of the city and 20 minutes from the central station.

Liars and lazy people. We are going as a family to ask for a table to eat. Sorry everything is full and we are few on staff. So we go to their bar opposite and 1 hour later there are still empty tables in the restaurant with no customers. Shameful for an establishment to refuse a family. The head waiter is not correct and professional.

Very uncomfortable, unwelcome, server never came to the table except to take the menus away. Don’t waste your time here. Atmosphere was fine courtesy of the bar next door with music.

Food very slow and I wanted medium well done but came out as rare. Also servers didn't come often so I didn't have chance to cook more for beef. I think because I'm Asian? They put me in the corner. I wouldn't recommend to you if you're Asian.

Everything was great and especially Laurine who perfectly orchestrates the service on the terrace! We will come back with great pleasure this winter to test the fondue tube!

Whether at the bar with comfortable sofas and a varied choice of drinks or in the restaurant itself with a varied choice of dishes, each more tempting than the next, you have plenty to do. The view of the lake and the gentleness of the lake will delight your eyes and senses day and night accompanied by soft music. The meal was good, including the surprising dessert with its marshmallow and hot chocolate. Very sweet, very heavy but incredibly good. Affordable prices (33chf for a hearty burger of 180g of meat) you will find a choice of fish, meat, legs and others. For a charming dinner as a couple or an outing with friends or a good meal with the family, this is a good destination. A very pleasant evening.

We came here for dinner with a big group of friends. The place was nice and cozy. The staff was very friendly and provide nice service. We ordered many dishes and enjoy good white and red wine. Although it was pricey but worth the taste and service.

Good food, tasted very tasty. However, the portions for a main course are far too small. If you want something more, simply pay for another menu. The staff is present, but you don't feel any hospitality or attention. Private cell phones probably have higher priority than customers. The view from one window is really great with a view of the lake. Will neither visit the restaurant again nor recommend it to others.

The tartare was very good, unfortunately it was served with far too little toast, I had to ask for more and I even had to finish with my piece of bread. The service could have been better, too many apprentices (helpful but...) and too few really professionals, but the latter were up to the task. Our table next to the glass door wasn't really the best, with the sun and the windows, the temperature quickly became unbearable.

Poor reception and service. We went to dinner on a Thursday evening and had a table of 10 people, so a nice table for a weekday. Welcoming with a simple hello, no smile until the end of our meal. After the aperitif, we had to wait a long time to get the menu card. When taking our orders, the waitress took the liberty of raising her voice to ask us to repeat the number of bottles desired even though my colleague mentioned only one to her when taking the order. During the meal, no one came to ask us if everything was going well, if we needed anything. My colleague had asked for ketchup herself, which never arrived. The dishes were good, the fries were certainly frozen but not bad. When it's time to clear out, none of the waiters ask us if everything went well. We saw very explicitly that we were disturbing more than anything else. The icing on the cake, when the waitress brought the dessert cart, she allowed herself to raise her voice and I quote, mentioned "If everyone could listen to me because I wouldn't want to repeat it a second time », in a condescending and annoyed tone. What audacity, we were all outraged by the employee's behavior. I find it totally unacceptable that employees of this type of restaurant could behave and communicate in this way with its customers while knowing that we were a large table and therefore brought a certain figure. Bad luck, we were all hoteliers. We will not fail to share our opinion on Saffron with those around us and under no circumstances recommend it.

Beautiful place where you eat 🍽️ and drink really well 😌👍🏻😘 I come here often and several times during the year to try the different seasonal specialties 😍🥰😘 Excellent quality price I would say 👍🏻 Then the place is well looked after and clean 🫶 The very kind and competent staff 👍🏻 And a priceless view of the lake 😍🥰😘 Also nice to take a peritavo at sunset 🌅

Very good food for a good price

Go your way. From starter to dessert nothing is right... the dishes are ordinary for Riviera prices. Add to that 2 service errors and more than 40 minutes of waiting to receive a dish that I did not order. As compensation the dish was offered… Thank you. When I see the previous reviews... I tell myself that there must have been a big change in the kitchen. Too bad because the setting, the atmosphere and the room staff suggested a great time.

Smiling but amateur service in the fondue tube: forgotten dishes, extreme slowness (40 minutes to serve the fondue... Outside of rush hour) and lack of communication (shyness?). As for food: have you ever tasted a fondue (soft, barely defrosted bread)? You also have to dare to charge 14 CHF for a meringue and double cream. In short, to be avoided.

Food and service were ok and thats about it. Nothing wow or special.

Nice place . Good wild boar. very surprised by the price of the opera for dessert (from the trolley)...12 fr each per person!!! Exaggerated and very expensive...it wasn't worth it... Too much waiting between the main course and the dessert while the employees cleaned the tables near us. Disappointed, I don't think we'll come back there.

Price/performance ratio was catastrophically bad, mediocre food, unfriendly and inattentive service. Typical tourist trap. I strongly advise avoiding the restaurant.

Extremely slow service. More than two hours to serve us the main course and dessert. Beautiful presentation of the dishes but the perch fillets as well as our trout fillets arrived lukewarm.

Fairly cold reception, we only came to eat aperitifs. Very poor card. No cocktails ❗️❗️

Decent food. Service was overly stiff. Maybe that's just the Swiss way. From what I saw in the lobby, the Eurotrash was in full effect. Maybe that's the reason. Anyway, it was raining so I stayed onsite. It was fine with nice atmosphere. But c'mon, lighten up a little.

Very beautiful and good restaurant

Food is very pricey and to be honest for this price a bit disappointing. However, besides the price and the average taste I can't really complain about anything. You have a beautiful view of the lake and the restaurant (including the restrooms) is very clean. All in all, perfect if you just want to grab a quick bite and enjoy the view, however if you have a budget limit you might want to invest your time and money into something with a better price to quality/taste ratio.

Fine service from a professional staff, high quality food, I ordered a beef burger and it was the most delicious burger I tasted on my trip.

The restaurant is right on the lake and offers a small but fine menu. My favorite is “Poulpe à la plancha”.

Eating directly at Lac Leman in Montreux - we'll go there again! The terrace with a view over the lake in the evening mood. The meal curry with chicken a la fason SAFRAN and the salad bowl with grilled giant prawns were really very tasty. The house wine Chasselas for Fr. 7.50 (dl.) was very good and the service was TOP.

Great place with decent food and good views! It is the restaurant attached to the eurotel hotel. The food is quite good yet quite simple. The service was slightly slow, however, the staff was good and friendly. We also got different types of glasses because they ran out which is not the end of the world just a bit weird since the restaurant wasn't exactly full. Overall a good experience would come back to this restaurant but definitely not the hotel!

While passing through Montreux for lunch, I had a dish that was tasteless, it wasn't good, however the setting and the service were OK.

Arriving as two people without reservation one evening of the Montreux jazz festival, we were welcomed very kindly and were able to be placed close to the lake. The staff is very friendly. The fairly small and original dishes are very good. We tried the mango-tomato burratina salad and the egg parfait. As we had to go to the concert, our arrival happened quickly. Beautiful address.
