Very nice restaurant, friendly service, good food. We'd love to come back

We had to wait over half an hour for the salad, then another good hour for pasta, there were only two of us, and when we sat down the terrace was still almost empty. Unfortunately, the food was very bland, cold and very carelessly prepared, salad was swimming in the very sour sauce. It's a shame about an almost perfect day

Outrageous to charge CHF 6.20 for a small cappuccino. And there were no alternatives to cow's milk. Not even in Zurich do you pay that much for a moderately good cappuccino.

The food was good, but everything took too long. Service is not unfriendly, rather matter-of-fact and careless. The atmosphere in the restaurant is okay. At the end of February you can just accept the winter decoration with a snowman with a smile ;)

Nice ambience and sometimes excellent, attentive service - sometimes rather careless. The fact that the heating was a bit over-motivated didn't hurt the lovely evening too much. Food tip top

The restaurant was empty and there were 10 of us and the waiter refused to serve us. “There are too many people here” was his statement, even though there were exactly 5 people in the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend anyone to have a drink there, the service is a disaster and it wasn't the first time something like this had happened.

Not necessarily the restaurant's problem, but since everything is very tightly packed, the neighboring table was so noisy that an enjoyable meal was not possible. Even after telling the neighbor at the table that it was too loud, we were only aggressively told to take care of our things. That evening was the worst experience I have ever had in my career and restaurant experience.

Well-stocked, nice restaurant/pizzeria. The service was ok. You could even sit outside at this time if you wanted. The pizza was very good. Likewise the other menus. Despite the large number of guests, the food came promptly. Everything OK

I think they changed the management since last time i was here. Pizza was dry and boring, drinks meh. Used to be our favorite in rapperswil but not anymore.

The same thing along the entire promenade, there is nothing for an aperitif - despite the steep prices. Stingy landlords spoil the good mood. And they're not even ashamed of it.

My pizza actually tasted good, but the edges were hard and the bottom was almost burnt. Will definitely come back because of the location, but definitely won't order pizza again.

Nice restaurant with good food. The pizza is highly recommended. Unfortunately my dessert, the mango mouse, was not good. Not airy at all, too much and way too fattening. Not recommended. Ansonent, inexpensive restaurant and a good alternative in Rapperswil.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pizzeria San Marco. I had the vitello tonnato and beef tenderloin. The vitello tonnato was delicious, with a great sauce and tender slices of meat. The beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender on the inside. The pizzeria offered a wonderful selection of Italian food and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall it was a great experience.

Apart from the beautiful location, it is a complete disaster! I was there for dinner with my friend yesterday and when we arrived we weren't served friendly. We ordered two colas, a pizza and he ordered the beefsteak medium rare. Drinks were served without ice even though it was 27 degrees outside. We were given ice cream upon request. When the food arrived, the meat wasn't medium but seemed very bloody. We let it go back again when the plate came back and the same thing again, not medium. The waiter then said that it was medium for them. When my friend said then please send it back and fry it. Yes, at some point when I was finished with my pizza his food arrived, cold fries, meat you couldn't eat anymore, it was finally cooked through. I then asked if they would accommodate us with the price, he left, came back with the bill and said no, it was medium, that's how it is with us. We paid, I said to him when that was the first and last time. When we left the restaurant, the waitresses stood there, looked at us and said loudly in a mocking and ridiculous tone... OHHH SHAME, REALLY SHAME and laughing! Disgraceful behavior!!!

Its a nice place to eat along the Rapperswil lake with a nice view too. The food is good, friendly service and have a good dessert. Its worth to visit this place

It was a very nice evening, right by the lake, cozy and very good food.

We were in the restaurant because it was very thundery at the moment, but of course it would have been much nicer outside. The food is ok, nothing terribly good but nothing terribly bad either. The staff is also ok, nothing particularly good but nothing particularly bad to report either. In my opinion the prices are excessive, but that's probably simply due to the great location. Overall it was OK, but nothing more.

The steak for almost 50 was well done instead of medium rare as requested. Additionally it had a bitter, burnt taste, obviously the rust wasn't cared for well. When making the (risotto) with Gamberi and Asparagi, I had the impression that basmati rice was used. It doesn't work at all!

We only had a drink but the non-alcoholic Sunshine was fine and the staff was very friendly.

Waited 40 minutes for a green salad as a starter and ended up with the wrong sauce on it.

The food was good. However, the price for a small pizza is questionable. The pizza is at least 1/3 smaller than the regular one and we were still only deducted 2 francs from the normal price. Not okay for me.

San Marco is our regular pizzeria in Rapperswil. Super good pizza, fast and friendly service.

Bad service, coffee never came. The remaining money was given incorrectly (too little), the excuse was that the lady was alone even though there were few guests and a couple came after us. Never again

Food very good, also arrived quickly. Service leaves a lot to be desired, several times we ran out of drinks and waited over 30 minutes for payment without anything even though there were only 6 guests...

Location very nicely located on the lake. Service friendly and 85% attentive. Bruschetta very good, pizza also 4/5. Risotto con Funghi unfortunately lower class. Looking for mushrooms was in vain. A pity.

We went to eat with friends at this wonderful place with a view. The seating on the gallery is really very nice. We had pizzas and pasta, everything tasted wonderful. Then dessert came and we were really disappointed. The tiramisu is from the freezer (the shape gave it away, it looks exactly the same when you buy it in the supermarket) and my colleague's mango/passion fruit mousse was more of a sweet mayonaise with no taste. When we asked whether the tiramisu was homemade, we received an almost cheeky answer from the waitress: “Oh, I have no idea and I’m new here.” At an Italian restaurant I expect homemade tiramisu. Dear San Marco team: There really is a better way!

Our staff event/dinner at San Marco was great. Salad, pasta fun and dessert, all perfect. Very nice and attentive service.

Waiter was not very helpful in recommending food to us. As we were tourists he should know better. Then the food was below average. However the restaurant theme and atmosphere was nice.

Horrible place. Pizza was cheap and we had to pay for tap water. Never going back.

The San Marco has a new pizza oven with maximum heat for a crispy dough.

Food was very good and large portion. Had a nice seat by the window on the upper floor. Also has a beautiful terrace with a lake view. Not far from the train station. Was here for the second time. Very satisfied both times

Despite the somewhat conflicting reviews, I came to eat the pizza here. What can I say, I like it first because it is brought to the table with Stefano's smile and then because it has fresh ingredients. Too bad about the desserts which are not all homemade, the panna cotta yes.....and it is very good....the espresso is also not top but better than many other places....as I write I can smell the scent of the berries I have to finish the dessert ahh ahh ahh .... stay tuned.....

Unfortunately, the carbonara I ordered was too runny and it just tasted like eggs. The bacon was just fat, hardly any meat. Was very disappointed because it wasn't that cheap either. My friend's pizza was served lukewarm - cold. In the end I told the waiter about it and he just told me that it was normal...

The veal was tough and the sauce was watery. The service arrogant. Maybe they're good at making pizza. Very disappointed.

I got a normal tomato sauce as an olive oil with chery tomatoes, garlic and basil sauce, As written in the card. The service employee said it was a Chery tomato sauce?????

Nice restaurant right on the lake in Rapperswil. You have the option to dine inside and outside. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The food is very delicious and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly. The prices are fair.

Attention: do not reserve by phone!! We made reservations by phone for the third time (!) and still had no space! Reservation was not registered, it can happen once but not three times. Was unpleasant and embarrassing for us as we had guests. That was the last time, never come again!

Always super nice and fast service on two visits. The food (pasta, risotto, pizza, gnoggies) was always very good. Very nice restaurant (inside and outside). Highly recommended.

Some people haven't learned anything. Where they still write bad reviews, if they were smart they would realize that this restaurant is no good. But just the poor and people who have absolutely no idea in life and won't achieve anything.

Too bad I can't give zero, we booked three spritzes and 4 bruschettas and the 3 pizzas which never arrived for a good hour. In the end we got up and only paid for the spritzes and the 4 bruschettas.

Anything but good. Service not overly nice and quick. Food took forever. Spaghetti Bolognese is subpar, I've never had such a bad meal at an Italian restaurant. The first and last time

We want to eat pizza. But after 1 hour we still didn't get any. The waitress walks between tables and is not at all interested. I don't recommend it!

Food was good. I went at mid day and the fish, perch, was well done. Wine was fine. It has a terrace with a view to the lake or downstairs. We had not a sunny day which was a pity

Service Katastrophe! I had business lunch there, but terribly we had to wait 1 hour for the food. I ordered a set lunch from Today's Menu. The soup was not warm and no bread was served along. My boss just ordered a Pizza. It was on a Wednesday and not crowded at all. The Manager did not apologize and disappeared after we complained. I will never go there again.

Beautiful area on Lake Zurich. Sometimes there are a bit too many people and there could be a bit more benches. Restaurants on the lake cost around 30fr per person.

The staff was very friendly and funny. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere was also very good.

They have a great location apparently they don't need anything else for having customers. Don't expect anything else than a view. Their staff is rude and the food is below average. We ordered a salad and mozeralla was not fresh and we could not even tell this to the staff as we were scared of them. I would never be back to this place

Unfortunately, the order was taken completely incorrectly... then the salad (which served as a starter) came with the pizza. Understanding when speaking, well... Unfortunately not the first time that I or we have experienced something like this. A pity.. This time it's definitely the last time.
