The noodle soup was quite bland, ingredients such as vegetables and meat were not seasoned. We see very little work put into the dish, which is a shame. Additionally, the quantity served was far too little to satisfy. To tell you that I was still hungry afterwards. The waitress seems impatient, we feel that she is rushing us to order quickly. On the other hand, I really liked the decoration, there was a good effort there.

Sushi's were pretty good but we had the beef upon, at a price of 24-. We except a but more than a tasteless dish with frozen bits of beef...

Excellent ramen - I recommend it to any fan

Japanese Fast-food at 50chf/pers Non-existent and unfriendly service. In the kitchen the food is fast and of industrial quality, tasteless (sushi and soups). The homemade noodles, however, are really good but unfortunately spoiled by the rest of the low quality ingredients and the high quantity of oil. We don't feel any desire to please the customer either in the kitchen or in the dining room, on the other hand the prices are there: 2 starters 2 main courses 2 drinks: 100 chf. Really a shame knowing that the interior decoration is nice and the location has potential.

Guaranteed food poisoning… industrial, bland dishes and deplorable service.

For the price, I will order somewhere else next time. The Tonkutsu broth had a 2mm layer of oil on top and was a bit lacking in flavor. Very (too?) fatty and oily for the Udon sauce stir-fried with spicy beef as well. The little miso soup was okay and the shrimp tempura good, but unfortunately they didn't make up for the overall bad experience.

The starters and the main course I had were very good. Nothing to say. The quantity remains correct but could be a little more. The staff is friendly and smiling. Good experience

I love coming to eat ramen which is excellent. The decor is also really pretty, which is exotic.

Well located restaurant, the food is very good whether it is sushi or ramen! The service is sometimes chaotic and not organized, the dishes do not always arrive at the same time but overall the experience is good.

I was pleasantly surprised from start to finish 🍺 with a magnificent foam that lasts and the ramen is excellent, the plum at the end after the coffee a little Asian delight with very little alcohol. To be done again without a doubt

The udon broth was one of the most scrumdiddlyumptious things I had have the opportunity to grace my tongue. The excellence of the food trumped any udon or Ramen I have tried in the bay area (USA). It had an excellent and mellow taste of a bone and other aromatics that clearly had been simmered for a long time. We also saw that the Ramen noodles are made in house, which is why they must've been so long and bouncy. The waiters also speak mandarin and english, but the menu also includes many images.

I order a miso ramen asking if there are any peanuts in it, I am told no. After the first big allergy attack, I asked again if there were peanuts but I was told no, except that it was indeed an allergy attack linked to peanuts! No action taken, paid 20CHF for not even 3 mouthfuls, not recommended for those with allergies (at the risk of ultimately dying)

Ramen the broth is pretty good but the meat is too dry (I took the chicken one) Makis not seasoned at all, very very bland and super expensive The soy sauce is very weird also it looks like it was diluted with water it is neither sweet nor salty. Shy but very fast service The frozen mochi/daifuku are really not great, the dough is terribly hard and the taste has nothing to do with what it says on the card... overall it's OK because the setting is very beautiful and bright and quite large but for fans of Japanese food I do not advise you, to improve unfortunately

I had the chance to discover an exceptional Japanese restaurant, and I can't help but share this positive experience. The restaurant is pretty - we are attracted… But the food is not at all what one might expect. The menu offers dishes from different Asian countries… The ramen was not good at all... actually for me it's not ramen but an industrial broth in which they put the bare minimum... Having already tasted a real ramen and I have already made it - I know exactly that the ramen in this restaurant is anything but ramen The tea was bland without taste… way too expensive For lovers of real food to delight your taste buds, this type of restaurant is really mediocre.... Go your way and keep your money...

Not bad. Menu different from conventional restaurants. If you want Teriyaki salmon, go your way! If you like ramen, octopus balls, tempura, sushi boats you are in the right place. In a month the Teppayaki service should open. The last information is to book if you wish to try the next service.

Nice Decor, great location, air conditioning, a big big plus today, but the food is very average. The edamame was too cooked,, the sushi was quite thin and rice hard. We ordered the dragon eyes, but we did not get what we expected. The salmon was cooked and the whole roll was fried!! Totally misleading on the menu when we were expecting a fresh roll with raw salmon, so quite disappointing on the food front. I am not sure we will be back unless the temperature is so hot that the cold air overrides the food quality!

We did a dine in for dinner. The restaurant was very pack and I guess there was only 1 server who could assist us. And we all could see how difficult was it for her to manage all the orders and customers. Felt pity for her though 😕

I really enjoyed the udon with the pork broth. A nice portion with lots of taste for a fair price (ramen in Geneva are super expensive).

Before ordering, perhaps it should have been indicated that there was no more tuna. Then, sushi in summer is normally with green cabbage and not red cabbage again not indicated. And the price is extreme for the quantity. But otherwise the decoration is magnificent, it's a shame.

Dish received is not the one ordered, either chirachi with a single fish cut into pieces, sushi small and expensive for what it is, fish not super fresh and rice really not great, very long wait, error in the bill ... in short, first try of this restaurant which will not be repeated!

The udon noodles were simply divine. The service at Sanuki is exceptional. The staff is warm, attentive and very competent. Highly recommend Sanuki for all Japanese food lovers.

Vegetarian ramen to rework. I strongly advise against it. Pretty decent meat ramen! But not exceptional. 2 stars for the vegetarian ramen. 3 for those with meat.

Very nicely decorated Japanese restaurant in which orders are taken by tablet. Very nice because there are photos and a description of all the dishes. Excellent Ramen and gyoza and good Sushi. The service is fast but without much interaction; the waitresses are quite shy.

The decoration is very unique and the food is delicious, especially the dragon rolle and udon vegetable soup. I will bring friends here next time. The girl who serves is very friendly.

Honestly, I had already come the first time and the meal had been good, however the tablet system for taking orders had problems given that my drink was brought back to me at the end of my meal while I ordered it at the same time as the ramen. After this experience, I went there again and unfortunately it was quite catastrophic. The friends I came with noted that they did not want onions with the same name (concerning the type of onions stipulated on the tablet). When the dishes arrived we told them that they had put them in because the waitress didn't know what they were and another friend ordered sushi and they were served hot (because the kitchen had just come from make the rice).Before explaining this the waitress said that this is how sushi should be served. At the end of the meal, the waitress cleared the table and poured the carafe on the floor and on my jacket at the same time...

Excellent Ramen and atmosphere. Has some mildly spicy ramen with minced meat (not the spicy ramen dish, the Tantanmen). The ramen felt fresh and firm and the broth had a lot of flavour: just spicy enough but not overwhelming. The Chinese lady who served me was very friendly and my food arrived quickly. The atmosphere was modern and tastefully decorated in a Japanese style. Will come back.

Vegetarian ramen contains noodles, vegetables and two dumplings but no protein like tofu for example. If you are looking for something vegetarian there is little choice and not necessarily satisfying. However, the veggie ramen was good, including the broth. At the table it is indicated that we can order with our cell phone by flashing the QR code but it did not work on my cell phone. When I told the waitress she said to me "oh on my phone it works, it's your phone that has a problem" to which I replied "oh I have to change my phone then". It was a bit of an average response. She then added “next time we will give you a tablet” which tells you that there will be a next time?

We went this evening with my friend to eat soup and taste the food in general and it was indeed very good. In addition, the waitress was very friendly and smiling. We'll come back.

I came on a Saturday evening with my partner. We ordered maki rolls (dragon roll and a platter) as well as poke bowls. Everything was super good and served very quickly. The cook/sushi master (Laurent) is very welcoming, kind and professional. I can only recommend this restaurant, whether for the location, the food, the service and the warm welcome. Thanks again !

Food is so so. Not the worst, but nothing to talk about. The evening we went there were two waitresses. One had comprehension of neither politeness nor customer service. She was very awkward and made me feel pretty bad about coming in. The other waitress salvaged my evening a bit, but it's not a place I would go in again.

Japanese restaurant in Plainpalais. I had their spicy ramen. The broth was quite good and well seasoned. On the other hand, the pork belly slices that were supposed to be braised were just bland and uninteresting. They were so white that they could have been confused with tofu... Too bad because the noodles, given their consistency, looked fresh. If more attention was paid to details this could be a good restaurant. Finally, the tea I tasted (genmaïcha) was of good quality. Very friendly service!

This restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the service is fast and very respectful towards customers... And their dishes are all as delicious as they are tasty. In summary, it is the ideal place to taste the culinary specialties of Japan in calm and conviviality. For those who are passing through Plainpalais, I advise you to go there without detour, hungrier than ever.

I asked for a spicy ramen to go. It was inedible! Spicy enough to kill a horse and absolutely bland for the rest. The service and welcome was very strange. I do not recommend at all.

We came to eat there for lunch with my son, a big fan of manga and Japan. The decoration is superb and the place is calm and soothing. We were served very quickly (10 minutes) and it was delicious. We will come back :)

The setting is very pleasant, warm and welcoming, with very pretty decoration. However, I found the food much less remarkable... My ramen was good without being incredible, and somewhat sparsely served (which is a shame considering the prices). The tempura was quite good. The choice of drinks was frankly limited, especially the teas, which is a shame for a Japanese restaurant, and the prices bordered on the ridiculous. The thing that left the most to be desired was the service; already, no paper menu but a tablet on which we were invited to click and send our selection, without human interaction... Which is a bit of a shame for a restaurant! In addition, the tablet does not say what the dishes are made of, what meat, what broths... we have to rely on an image of poor quality, and it is impossible to order options (more noodles, meat like in any other ramen restaurant!). We are truly delivered to ourselves because the servers remain behind their bar without moving. The rest of the service was lackluster although willing, but slow and with errors. Ugh. To be tested again I guess, but I'm not sure I'll come back straight away...

Unfortunately the worst ramen in Geneva... The place is really charming, but unfortunately the cuisine doesn't keep up. We ordered 2 tonkotsu ramen, the pork was undercooked, the mushrooms extremely salty, but the broth was pretty good. For dessert we had frozen mochis, unfortunately they were probably leftovers from the freezer... The mochi was clearly either thawed and refrozen or very, very old... I hope the food improves, so we can maybe come back one day.

The ambiance of the restaurant is calm but lively, no music, and the decor is Japanese inspired. The staff is amicable and the service is swift, the ordering system through the qr code from your phone is efficient. The appetizers are very fresh, one of the best spring rolls I had here. The Ramen and Udon are really good as well and the high quality of the ingredients is obvious.
