Sarajevska Ćevabdžinica in Zürich

Anyone who knows what good cevapcici and lepinje taste like is simply disappointed. Service and ambience poor.

Tasty and satisfying 😋 We took goulash soup, meat was super tender. Burek as expected, unfortunately, they run out of meat and cheese burek and we had potato and spinach ones. They were still good, just not our favorite fillings 🤗

I would like to highly recommend the restaurant Sarajevska Ćevapdzinica, which I recently discovered during my trip to the Zurich region Arriving at the restaurant by chance, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome I received. The staff was friendly, attentive and ready to answer all my questions. This friendly atmosphere immediately created a positive experience. The food at Sarajevska Ćevapdzinica is simply delicious. Every bite I took was a real treat for my taste buds. I was also lucky enough to be able to get my second order to go, which was very convenient for me. The quality of the dishes was just as exceptional to take away as on site. What really touched my heart was the gesture of the boss when I mentioned that we still had 300 km to go to try home. He kindly offered us drinks for our trip, which was a valuable gesture in my opinion. This shows how much the restaurant cares about its customers and wants to make their experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend anyone to visit Sarajevska Ćevapdzinica when in the area. The Balkan specialties are a real delight and the warm atmosphere of the restaurant will not fail to seduce you. Whether you want to dine in or grab your takeout order, you won't be disappointed with the quality food and exceptional service. Their warmth and hospitality make every visit extra special. 💖🗣️ And let's talk about the coffee - "domaća kava" - my absolute favourite in the entire world. It's the perfect companion to the savory Burek, making every sip and bite a moment to cherish. ☕️❤️ If you're looking to experience genuine Balkan hospitality, unmatched flavors, and a place where every visit feels like coming home, then you know where to go.

Unfortunately, but the overall impression is terrible and the 'restaurant' does not deserve the name it bears! This man, who works alone and doesn't get to serve quickly and these not too many guests, should first come to Sarajevo and try real kebabs so that he has at least an approximate picture of what it should all look like. Kebabs, apart from being small and tasteless, are also too expensive (16fr - 10 pieces), and the bun is so bad, dry and hard, and all crispy and even burnt...

We had cheese burek and homemade ayran. Both very fresh and as good as the ones we got in Montenegro. Very appreciated!

Disappointing experience with Cevapčići, Börek acceptable As a Balkaner, I am always happy to enjoy a piece of home in the form of traditional dishes. So I was particularly disappointed. Unfortunately, the cevapčići, which I was really looking forward to, were not satisfactory. They were still reddish inside and didn't taste right. It appears they were seared at too high a heat, resulting in an attractive exterior but a raw interior. Given my knowledge of proper preparation and due to health concerns, I decided not to eat them. Undercooked meat can pose a risk of food poisoning, which caused additional concern for me. The Börek with meat was okay, but unfortunately it didn't reach the level I expected. The taste was acceptable, but nothing special. Another point that disappointed me was the way the food was packaged. The food was just carelessly wrapped in paper, which I think was very unprofessional. I understand that mistakes can happen in the restaurant industry and I appreciate the efforts of the staff. But as a connoisseur of Balkan cuisine, I had higher expectations of the quality and presentation of the dishes. I hope this feedback helps to improve the quality and service so that future experiences are more positive.

Ordering via Just Eat repeatedly does not work. Disastrous communication.

Final. Sarma, Gulas, Cevapcici, hot fresh lepinja with every menu. Everything is perfect down to the last detail. A wellness treat for the palate for every ex-Yugoslavian Additionally Yogo Cocta. PS: Burek is also like in EX Yugoslavia with homemade yogurt. A dining experience for young and old. Plus top price reading.

I have never seen or tasted worse kebabs in my life. That restaurant is closing, don't worry, you don't even have Ć from Ćevap.

The food was very, very good, but the pricing is incomprehensible. A small mineral water for SFr. 4,-- is sporty - and the advertised prices for the dishes do not clearly state what is included in the price. So the basis is right, but overall it was too expensive. A pity.

Their food is absolutely delicious, and their meat and wine servings are very generous. The staff is warm and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Uhh, didn't taste good at all. Very oily, meat consistency reminiscent of sausage meat. No side dish, not seasoned well. Our whole team smelled of oil all afternoon long.

I'm sorry for this review but... Half of the order didn't arrive. The phone at the restaurant said the driver had done something wrong. Quite possible. I don't want to blame anyone for this. But you are responsible for the quality! - Tomato salad was bland and had no sauce. Thrown in so quickly. - Cabbage salad with vinegar was with French sauce instead of homemade vinegar sauce as ordered. And normally you put them in, right? Wasn't the case here. - Burek with meat did not arrive. - Sarma didn't arrive. - fried peppers with cheese urda did not arrive. - Cevapcici was carelessly prepared, cold, not as tasty as usual and the kajmak we ordered was missing. The bread wasn't fresh as usual. What happened? When did you do that so carelessly? Customer service seems to be a foreign concept for many restaurants today. The main thing is to quickly zap zap and get rid of it. Who cares about one customer right? That seems to be the case in some places lately. It's a shame it felt like that for you today too. Well, one customer less…

So a few months ago I ordered Cevape with my girlfriend. The order and the food as well as the packaging of drinks and food are a complete disaster. The yogurt practically comes in a plate, which has become soggy due to the very long delivery time (the material is cheap cardboard). The “Cevape” ordered have absolutely nothing to do with Cevapcici. It is an insult that the restaurant calls itself "Sarajevska Cevabdzinica". The restaurant has nothing to do with Sarajevo and Sarajevan cevabdzinicas. Sram vas bilo... If you want to eat real and traditional cevapcici, you should avoid this restaurant. Even 1 star is too much. Pozz

I was there yesterday with my wife and we both had a portion of Cevapcici 10 pieces with mineral water (without gas). Unfortunately, I had flatulence all evening afterwards and my wife also had diarrhea this morning. It was tasty and the price was low too.

Authentic eastern european spot for food that is afdordable and great quality. If you want to teleport in time here you have it. 2 people ate for 30 francofons and we had desert as well.

This review really hurts me! The factors I considered were rarely further apart. The food is tasty, authentic and unbeatably cheap for the city of Zurich. The Čevapčići in the fat-fried lepinja with ajvar - fantastic! The burek - we had the krumpiruša - like my grandmother's. And where else in the city can you get perfectly balanced Turkish coffee? But unfortunately the cleanliness of the place is hair-raising, the beer is rather warm and the service is at least cordial. I therefore recommend, if at all, only going there in summer when the weather is nice, never using the toilet and, if in doubt, using the delivery service.

Avoid this place! Unclean Unhygienic floor dirty food leftovers everywhere. And the owner made magic and a meal that was bad for us even though we were so hungry…. It's sad that the would-be restaurant Sarajevska calls itself Cevabdzinica because that has nothing to do with Bosnia and Cevapi.

Quality of the cevapcici was okay. Burek, on the other hand, wasn't really good. The restaurant needs a little more attention to detail and the general cleanliness should be much better.

The bun was made on the spot but dry, the meat too seasoned for my taste. Of course tastes are not discussed ;)

I had the tavče gravče with sudzuk and it was great! It warms the body and the soul :) the apparently homemade sausage was fantastic! The service was also very friendly. It's hard to believe that I've lived almost around the corner for years and have never been here, but it certainly wasn't the last time.

This time I'll post my review later. This is due to the fact that the burek tasted good last time at another restaurant, but later me and my wife burped it and made us sick. This was not the case after today's visit to the Sarajevska Cevabdzinica restaurant. We really enjoyed the burek and the cevapcici and hours later none of us had any complaints. So, just great and fine and above all tolerable. The prices are fair. There are many other Balkan specialties that I would like to try out. With today's warm and sunny weather, it was fun to be able to sit outside and enjoy food with the family.

We had 2 portion of Cevapcici, it was good and tasty. I had the normal cevapcici and my girlfriend choose the flat meat (like a thin burger), we also had a salad with cucumber and feta. They gave us ayvar onion and yogurt sauce for the sandwich. The yogurt sauce was not enough for 2 sandwiches. But I would still recommend this place as the meat was excellent!
