s'Buffet Beck-Away Bistro Bar in Stans

I was charged for a butter croissant twice and only ordered and consumed a coffee cream twice. The peak of the butter croissant is, I ordered a coffee cream and wait... after about 20 minutes, the staff informed. Please don't bring coffee cream, thank you.

Unfortunately me and my partner can never eat here due to our migraines due to the flickering lights (video shot of the restaurant in slow motion), even though we change trains at Stans station almost every weekend.

Nice café with a bakery right at the train station. Specially, there is a live concert every last Friday of the month.

Actually a nice shop with a nice atmosphere. The first lady was very nice and accommodating. The second lady was incredibly rude. No idea why

The cake was extremely good but the service was disastrous. I generally understand the service staff, who are a bit overwhelmed on busy days. But simply charging for the wrong AND more expensive drink for stress reasons, even though I clearly told him (and showed him on his tablet) what we received when we ordered, is not right in my opinion. Additionally, he had acted as if I didn't notice. (Schoggi Grand Cru Melange was ordered, we received Schoggi Grand Cru Warm and a coffee melange was charged). Additionally: - Extremely long waiting times - Too few service staff - Drinks and cake had to be ordered separately.

Food was good. Sandwich and pastries were good but service was 😑 Lady at counter saw me holding my items to purchase but kept ignoring me although I was before another customers.

It is a small, central location of the Christian bakery including a bistro area. The food is delicious and they (currently) support local suppliers.

Everything was great. If you’re at Stans station or somewhere nearby, this is a lovely cafe with many well-thought varieties to choose from. Indoor outdoor both are nice.

Counter lady ridiculously rude to customers, making fun of people in line. Middle age, dyed white hair. A real disservice to the store

Very good place to take a coffee, capuccino and there are many options to eat as breads, croissants, bakery, also desserts, cheese and yogurt. It’s a nice place to have a breakfast or even drink something.

Great experience, friendly and good looking staff. Service was set up in the morning. H.M. served us with a constant smile. Gladly again👍🏻

This review concerns the food in the restaurant. Takeaway food would be much better. My companion had to add salt several times. You could also do something for the eyes.

The drinks and pastries were very good. Pleasant atmosphere in a good and practical location. Unfortunately the service staff was unfriendly and careless. Our order was not fully brought to the table. We only received the guacamole when we asked. However, this had little to do with avocado and more to do with a tasteless, ice-cold green paste. Overall the visit was fine.

Actually, I have never been disappointed by Christen Beck so far. But today probably wasn't so good. Music was too loud and annoying. The service was friendly and tried very hard. The manager/boss behind the bar was busy with himself and his cell phone. The peppermint tea is inedible. After letting it steep for more than 5 minutes, the freshly mown grass from Chäle-Toni still tastes like more. The "Chef de Service" on duty said he was happy with the tea... But once again I'm not coming for tea. Tip: Add Scirocco tea from Kuster AG to your range!

Finally something special and extraordinary. Regional beers & a great snack menu. Hot dogs not in the run-of-the-mill IKEA style. Creative and tasty, relaxed atmosphere & pleasant service staff. Definitely worth another visit ✌️

Tasty!!!!!! Simple but tasty. Order their own iced tea there. Really very tasty. And what is also important is relatively cheap.

Just had breakfast, very pleasant atmosphere. Nice staff and the little sparrows in the café itself are not annoying 😊. Price performance is ok, we will definitely have breakfast there again on a Sunday.

I always enjoy coming here: whether for a coffee or a beer or cocktail in the evening. The food is also delicious. I especially like the tarte flambée. Tip: There are lots of local beers here!

A nice pastry shop near the station with convenient parking, very nice decor, this morning I had an excellent breakfast there was also a vast assortment of desserts and they are also open in the evening until late so you can have a drink very kind and helpful Laura who speaks Italian and today he gave me some explanations about a card I had

It was a rush to drink a beer while waiting for the train

We tried out the beer hiking trail and it took us, among other things, to the Stans buffet at the train station in Stans. Here we tried a degu bar with local beer specialties in 1dl glasses from Niedwalden. The idea behind it is really great, as you can immediately find your taste without having to try out a 3dl glass first. In addition, the service is super quick and very friendly, and the ambience also invites you to linger! And if it takes a little longer and you get a little hungry, there is also a nice little menu. The tarte flambée is highly recommended! :-)
